You guys have excellent chemistry. Every time so thorough on the details. Just curious; how do you grow multiple greens with different pH, nutrients and other levels on the same production line? Thanks.

I am new to your channel, have been watching all your videos from 1st vlog and I think its great that you share your knowledge and experience so openly so others can learn. Presently doing a setup all the way in Trinidad and Tobago and you guys inspired and educated me alot. Thanks.
Hi Patti & Wayne Ash here from Queensland Australia. The product you dip the roots in is it Essential Plus 1-0-1 100% Natural Rooting Substance & Biostimulant. Also I have seen all your videos and now I'm watching them all again. Keep up the good work. Cheers Ash
You are very open about the ways you operate your business. When I started out 40 years ago in my trade as a welder / fitter I was told to keep my secrets in how to build things. You have shown me a way I have never thought about in a small scale wood greenhouse 8ft x 8ft. I wonder f you would benefit using a air bubbler in all your water systems?
Amazing setup! I have my diy version all setup based off of the videos you've shared. Just waiting for seedlings to be ready. Do you recall the type of kale you were growing in this video?

hi ya folks at Spring hill Farms !! wonderful advice and information about growing lettuces and herbs and other cool stuff in your hydroponics system !! absolutely amazing setup you have, it look superb and the system looks a simple but highly effective methods of growing !! thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences and as always happy growing !! take care and God bless !!
Hi Wayne. I’ve learned a lot from your videos. Thanks for sharing. I understand you clean out the rails each harvest. Do you need to sanitize your tank and distribution system. If so, how and how often? Is there a way to do it without shutting down your whole system?
Great video and I'm amazed with the production you get not only from the hydroponic greenhouse, but all of your other one's as well seeing tho you live almost in North Bay. I'm from Oshawa ontario and I like you have been struggling with the almost daily downpours and cloudy conditions. Keep up the great videos and let's hope the rest of the summer is sunny and dry!

Hey Mrs. From Spring Hill Farms, i think you have to put more celery seeds in a pot, then you will have many small plant, but more leaves and thin stems. Just like you did in basil plants. If you should try it and it should give good results, please let me know because I am in the planning phase of an Aquponic plant myself. Thank you!
great video and and yet explaining it in a simple way. Did you say you run the water 24/7? could you share the info on the fertilizer, what kind and where do you buy it. Thank you for your time.
I try to set up a hydroponic greenhouse in Hungary. I'm just making the calculations for greenhouse size, most likely to fit 400 growing tubes. How long is your greenhouse? Hello Andrea,Thank you, and I'm happy the videos are of help to you. I could do a night time video in the lettuce house, but it gets pretty dark even with the LED lighting. This is something I think I will try. It won't be a long video, but yes, I will absolutely do this... stay tuned! Patti

That was very helpful Wayne and Patti! Thank you so much!!!! You answered all of my questions from earlier but now I have more! Sorry... Do you aerate the nutrient reservoir? Where do you get the troughs or did you make them? What do you do for mosquitoes? I use red minnows in the aquaponics system but they would die in hydro. Are all of your Oasis cubes 1"? Where do you get "essential" from I think that is it for now! Thank you so much for doing this and thank you for being such a great friend to this southern boy! Chuck
+Fensterfarm Greenhouse Hey Chuck! Yes we do aerate the nutrient reservoir and most of the troughs came from American Hydroponics and others we got from a local business. We use our hand for mosquitos! lol
I have been watching your video and amazed with this set-up, just wondering from germination to nursery and to channel, what is the ppm for the nursery to the maturity? Thank you more blessing.
Your videos have been a big help in my small hydroponics, thanks. What is the name of your kale seeds. It looks wonderful and I would like to grow. Cheers

We are thinking about expanding a bit with additional greens for our own consumption and gifts to friends and neighbors. Our question is regarding spacing. Great info right here! Are those top hat feeder plugs your using on the main line? The black inserts you have the feed hoses hooked to? Really love watching your video's!! Keep up the great work over there.

Thats very helpful Wayne. You are an inspiration. One observation, I found in few of your earlier videos (first one to be precise) that the shape of butterhead was not as good as it is today. Thanks for your videos, learned many things about hydroponics from them. But some questions: What is the substrate you use for germinate the seeds in this video and where can i get this? Regards Rainer
Big thank you for sharing this video and you are doing a great job.Wish you luck in what you are doing. I have a question_how many meters in total are the gutters/channels? My guess is about +/ 1km total lenght? Many thanks
Wow. Very impressive. A few questions. Are you running nutrient solution through the seedlings? Or just water? And with the Essential Root Stimulant, do you simply dip the seedlings roots in it and put it in the trough? Thank you for the video! Great stuff!
Wow! I just discovered your channel as it appeared in my newsfeed. I am growing hydroponically in my apartment in downtown Toronto. I heard you say you are in northern Ontario! I’m wondering how you manage to keep the greenhouse warm enough in minus 30 degree winters?? If you heat the water and the air surrounding the plants? It must be incredibly expensive and a lot of hot air must be lost out through the plastic?? I’m really surprised that you didn’t build more of a barn like environment and use artificial lighting instead. I know the artificial lighting is expensive but now with the tri color lights and LED lights it must be much more less expensive then trying to heat outdoors in the winter months?? Just curious. Funny I have the Muir lettuce and am growing it as well. Apparently it’s one of the very best ones on the market. Have you seen the person who just sprouts his seeds in water and then plucks out each individual plant and uses slices of pool noodles to wrap around his plants to hold them inside his tubing? I’m wondering if that is a cheaper solution then the growing medium that you are currently using or is that necessary to ensure that the air roots remain above the water level to prevent drowning? Loved this video and I’m going to check out more on your channel!! Thanks for sharing this is the sort of information that is very valuable for people like me who is just interested in growing it at home for my family. Although I have to get better at growing more and faster. Especially with the lettuce. My Basil I have several plants and I just keep cutting them back and they continue to grow and grow, boogles my mind! Currently I’m trying to grow celery from the end off a stalk that I purchased and so far it’s growing really well. I’ve been told it needs to go in soil once the greens reach a certain height in order to continue the growth of stalks? Yours seems to be doing reasonably well in hydroponics do you think it’s not forming actual stalks because it requires a different level of fertilizer? Thanks again🙏🏻🥰🇨🇦
Thanks Wayne and Patti. Always great watching your videos, old ones and new ones. You mention in the video that you are running at a PH of 5.8 to 5.9. Do you feel this is the best PH for the growth you are getting? I run at a PH of about 6.3 - 6.5 and see good growth in my system. I do however notice that when the PH is lower I am seeing my leaves greener. What are you running your PPM? I try to be around 950 as I was seeing a lot of my lettuce burn when running higher in the prescribed 1100 PPM when mixing the nutrients as suggested. I have been cutting that in half and hit about 950. Do you find that the nutrient mix is too high when following the directions? Thanks as always! Todd at Snap Fresh Farm
Hi Todd, Thank you for the kind words. Yes we run our ph between 5.5 and 6. This works well for us. We don't use Ppm, we use EC. When we find we are having root and tip burn, we lower the EC. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
Wayne learned all of this from watching RUclips videos? Wow. This man is a genius. Love their system and their videos.

What is the substrate you use for germinate the seeds in this video and where can i get this?
Regards
Rainer
Where do you buy your nutrients and oasis blocks from? I don't like the rock well blocks so looking to switch.
Where do you sell all of that lettuce? And how did you get hooked up with a buyer?
What kind of pipe is this?
When you do a daily top up, do you just add water and adjust the pH or do you add additional nutrients as well?
Hi Todd,
Thank you for the kind words. Yes we run our ph between 5.5 and 6. This works well for us. We don't use Ppm, we use EC. When we find we are having root and tip burn, we lower the EC.
Hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
@@Growwiththelaplantes Thanks very much! I'll look into EC and apply it to what Im doing.
@@Growwiththelaplantes sir what is the EC you maintained.
How do you control aphids?
We brought in Lady bugs and parasitic wasps
