I was in absolute tears hearing that man leave the message for that scammer. You have my total respect and god bless you *Strongwidget* for helping as many people as you can. It seems so crazy that people fall for these things but then again, the elderly were raised in a different time before computers and before online scammers. I hope through your channel that more people reject these morons from India and tell them where to go.
    Thanks again!

I have a feeling she’s the type to make the same kind of mistake again. I’ve seen a bunch of people like her get scammed numerous times when I worked at a bank. People coming in asking questions about what was obviously a scam. They’d be advised that what they were dealing with was very likely a scam, but they’d go through with it anyways hoping it wasn’t because there was that 1% chance it was legit. Then when they finally got scammed out of a bunch of their money, they’d come back wondering wtf happened. The crazy part is that months later, you’d sometimes see the same person that got scammed come back in asking ONCE AGAIN about something that was again, obviously a scam, and again, they’d go against the advice of professionals only to get scammed again. Not making this up, unfortunately. You feel bad seeing this happen to these people, but at the same time you sometimes want to grab and shake them while asking wtf is wrong with you.

I agree, if you aren't able to easily identify blatant scams then maybe you shouldn't even be on the internet. It's extremely obvious to tell whether or not a crypto currency exchange is fake. Did these people put $300,000 into an exchange without even googling the name of it? Really? It's no one's fault but their own. Like you're saying, it's always the same people falling for these types of scams, how is it even possible to be this gullible? The issue is people have all of this access to extremely powerful tools via technology, but they do the bare minimum when it comes to educating themselves on basic safety. Falling for something like this is so naive it is difficult to even fathom how it's possible.

She didn't give the money to him. The way the scam works is you think it's a real exchange and the scammer tells you that's where you invest. The issue is the scammer controls the exchange so they make you think the investment is growing and you put more in. You might be able to cash out some money at first in a test to see if it's legitimate and then invest more. After that test there's zero chance of cashing out.... even if you pay the tax bill (just more money for them). They play on your emotions.

Almost happened to me. When I was instructed to transfer my crypto to a certain wallet I noticed the address was different from mine. I played along with the scammer just for fun until he lost his temper. I had fun laughing at him

very true but still too harsh too soon. pretending to be compassionate doesn't cost you anything but will help you a lot in the long run.

Unfortunately she would have lost the money eventually...I think her father probably had a thought in his heart. Which is why he took it so well. Wow

So sad to see such a nice and sweet girl go through something so horrible. It’s a sad reality that people are really ruthless nowadays and everyone gets scammed one way or another particularly when it comes to romance. I believe in you and have no doubt that you will come out of this better and stronger and prove the RUclipsrs here (that are being nasty) wrong at the end. It’s not your fault, the ones that are to blame are the scammers stealing people’s life savings and pushing people to their deaths. I have faith in you. Never give up, you got this 🙏🏻

I'm having a hard time feeling sorry for her. I don't know why, other than we are told through every social media and news outlet NOT TO TRUST STRANGERS WITH YOUR MONEY! She's young enough to recover. I feel for her dad.

i pray for the daughter and dad, but will definitely be hard to recover from that, not everyone can earn that amount of money and definitely not the avg person by any means. most people won't even see that amount of money in their life time so it all depends on what she does to try and make that money back. maybe she will get gud at trading from this experience.

i agree with you.....but u know when a person gets caught in these scams ??? From my experience its when your needs or wants are overwhelming you to a point that you are blind in believing what you are doing is spot in.....So in this case its her need to take care of the family..

3:11 that man is a good one. he’s not her biological father, and their connection (the mother) has passed away. some blood families fall apart after deaths. anyways, he chose to comfort and love his daughter through a mistake that greatly affected him too. instead of choosing anger, shunning her, or anything else. i really hope things have gotten better for them in life
