My sister got scammed out of 15,000 and everyone told her it was a scammer and yet she continued. To this day she still spends all her time texting and talking to scammers for 3 years and still going strong. This is a mental disorder for women that are desperate for attention. My sister I feel knows she is being scammed but in her head, she feels it's worth it to have someone tell her they love her that way.

There MUST come a point when the victim is no longer a victim but is, in fact, a Volunteer to the deception. Realistically speaking, why the heck would a much younger attractive male be interested in an older woman ? We are talking about men with either a 6-pack and/or exciting professions worldwide. WHY would any woman not ask herself why her on line beau has so much TIME on his hands, are in love with you when you've never even met, lead drama filled lives what with locked out bank accounts, teenage children requiring an i-phone replacement, accidents at work yadda yadda yadda.

There is someone for everyone I see it all the time in real life, the mall the grocery store. The problem is that some people who have a less desirable dating pool like the idea that some super handsome or beautiful person is attracted to them so they get swept away. They like the idea and fantasy that some super hot suave guy wants them damn well knowing that in their everyday life it’s not as realistic. Harsh truth. So when it’s online they can live out their fantasy. Honestly, these people usually fall victim to this because of superficial reason regardless of what they tell the public. Desperation is a bitch

Dudes that ask women for money at the beginning of relationships are losers. I'm a dude. That being said, this is 100% the women's fault - unless he (or his friends) used a gun and robbed you, or held you against your will. I'll say, women scamming men out of money the usual line of business. Via onlyfans, strip club, gold digging, russian bridal websites, alimony, and many more... When dudes get scammed it is 100% the man's fault unless the women (or her friend) hold's him unwillingfully - (drugged and robbed, invited to hotel room and her boyfriend comes out and robs him, ect)...

No matter how many times my husband and I warned her it was a scam, it didn't matter. She had super low self esteem at the time due to being divorced from my father recently and nobody could convince her it was a scam.
She called us crying one day saying she couldn't pay rent and was going to be kicked out of her place. We paid her rent with the condition that she would never again send money to someone she had never met before. Their ignorance about how the modern world operated announces to the scammer that they are waiting to be victimized and humiliated. How often do we hear, “ I don’t know how gift cards work, “ “ He had to pay a VAT.” His son attends a prestigious school in Cairo,” “ the hospital wouldn’t discharge him until he paid his bill.” When, oh when have we heard of a hospital holding a patient hostage? I immediately said that I would not give money to a stranger. Then I got one last message in which he tried to work on my guilt. To which I replied that he had a problem and not me. I then reported him on the dating side.

They are magnanimous, gregarious, and will make you think they are sensitive to your needs. In my opinion, “STAY AWAY FROM ONLINE DATING!” It’s better to be lonely than to lose your life savings, your dignity, and maybe your life because some of the victims will die by suicide. In most cases you cannot get your money back because YOU ENGAGED with the bad actor.

However, I also ultimately met my partner through an app and we’d never have met otherwise. Be smart. Drive yourself and meet in public places until you know each other well. Get to know the other person’s social circle. Don’t give away your red flags but heed them when you see them. Don’t send or spend money, ladies. There is a greater proportion of wicked people on these apps than in the real world, but once in a while you’ll uncover a gem.

I feel the key here is, while we don't wish to scare off our possible forever love by being skeptical about everything, there has to be a level of asking questions. If you ask a question and they get defensive or evasive, that could be a red flag. If the conversation of money comes in to play early in the game especially when you've never met face to face, another red flag.
