But the only way Superman can get him to leave--merely because the two of them have this odd, unwritten agreement that says so--is to trick Mr. Mxyzptlk into saying or writing his own name backwards. If you're interested in watching Superman: TAS, there's an absolutely wonderful episode dedicated to this storyline, and Mr. Mxyzptlk is voiced by Gilbert Gottfried.

Orange kryptonite may not have been canon in the comics, but it did appear before this movie in the Krypto cartoon. It's nice that they reused this concept and didn't create yet another color of kryptonite.

Oh man, I lost it when krypto sent Lois into the upper atmosphere and into the polar ice caps. I was laughing at that for 30 solid minutes. I mean I was drunk but it was still funny
I like how they used the 89 Batman theme for when the Batmobile drives through the wall (16:38) also the classic Wonder Woman theme when Diana is fighting Lulu. (16:55)

I loved this movie it was a really good movie and Ace’s backstory is so super sad but it shows that Ace is a very good dog with a big heart I kinda wish the parents of the baby daughter actually learned the truth that Ace saved the daughter from falling down the stairs

I was excited for this movie a year before release and remained so even with all of the naysaying that led up to it. This movie is legitimately up in the top 5 superhero things released this year. Just a great movie all around.
I'd love to see them react to *Spies in Disguise* & *Bolt* someday.
* Spies in Disguise is a great film w/ a similar animation style & vibe. Plus, Lex Luthor's character design reminds me a lot of Lance Sterling lol.
* Bolt is an amazing film about a dog who thinks he has powers (like Krypto's) & goes on an adventure to find his owner - Bolt's journey throughout the film is acc pretty similar to Buzz Lightyear's journey in the first Toy Story film tbh.

Keanu Reeves doesn't even have to act funny to be funny when it comes to Batman/Bruce Wayne. It's all in the deadpan delivery. Keith David as Dog-El what can go wrong lol.

The most messed up thing in this movie was Ace's backstory. Who the hell just gives away their dog? If my dog bit my child, I'd make sure it wouldn't happen again one way or another. Keep them separated, then keep an eye on both of them when they're together. But I sure wouldn't give away my dog to some stranger

I teared up at Ace's story it's sad & infuriating that his new family didn't notice that the gate leading downstairs was open had Ace not grabbed the baby in time she would've fell down the stairs to her death. At the end though Ace ended up in a good home with Batman now he's Ace The Bathound so he got a better deal.
