    Can you get away with a lighter casting rod as well? Say like a 6’9 med fast?

    Love the video SC !!! Here on the TVA we've been throwing a Sniper style jig for years ... On all kinds of heads - Banana , Walleye , Arky , Ball , Football . Some weedless some not . Smallmouth love em down here . We really fish them below cold water dams like Norris Dam where the big Bronze Backs mix with Rainbows and Brown Trout . I like to put a Gulp Leech on the back for a trailer . Here lately we've been using the Do-It Molds Weedless Midwest Finesse Jig and tying on 8 strands of living rubbing . Still get the Sniper profile and the weedless attributes .

    I like the looks of them and the colors. My question is though how are they different from the keitech finesse football? Does the skirt flair more?

    • @SmallmouthCrush
      @SmallmouthCrush  3 года назад +2

      Better hook in my opinion, no weedguard, and better skirt material.

    • @randsoutdoors7346

      @@SmallmouthCrush thanks for the advice. My biggest issue with the keitech was the skirt once you got them wet they kind of stick to the trailer

      So I only fished there once....I generic answer would be a robo worm on a drop shot, but I bet this Sniper Jig would be a great bait for Lake Mead

      I'm right there with ya I've made myself throw a jig 80 percent of the time the past month haven't had much luck but getting a feel for it is my focus. Fishing from the bank my spots are limited but practice makes perfect.., I hope

    Hi Travis! I fish a lot in northern MN and was looking to pick up some of these jigs! I usually throw tubes and neds but wanna mix it up a little! I fish very clear water and was wondering if I could get a size and color recommendation! Thanks!

      these jigs are amazing and caught a ton fish on them already. If you really need to down size and apeal to pressured fish cut a maxscent chunk in half vertical and thread on flat side up
