I am pretty sure the drummer for Foals has to be injected with speed before each performance. He is one of the fastest, most precise drummers in indie rock.
Hubba BubbaBB Matt's great, as is The Walkmen's drummer. Both are very energetic and always seem to play what sounds right. I don't know if they're the best, but they should both definitely be in the convo.
I saw this clip many years ago and it granted me a love for a good indie music. It's 2024, I'm now a grown a"ss man and I come back here every now and then with gratitude and pleasure with a smile on my face.

If they played the same style of music over and over, it wouldn't be special. Their music goes into another direction now, which make their older music stand out more.
Math rock, never heard of that one. Cool ! But.. Cast of Cheers... not Irish ?? Oh I see, you mean, a band Mistook that as a hint to a TV series, referring to Big Bang Theory :D
Love it! love it and I got this on my favourite play list, listen to it often and I will never get fed up of listening to it!!! get indie sound! xxxx :-)
Ok, i'll be the one to comment on this in 2020. Great era. Unbeatable and perfect song. Nothing like it since. Shame great things can't continue for some odd reason
Este dia es muy importante, ya que es el dia de darles las gracias a los maestros de la musica por todo lo que nos dan con sus canciones desde los sentimientos que nos hacen sentir hasta la alegria por escucharlos. Feliz dia del musico.
too be honest bro, i have been listening to indie bands like foals since 06-08 and the sad thing is most of the fanbase at that time were americans like me.All those bands/artists that i once listened to on jools holland are now getting millions of views because people are now discovering indie.I remember having conversations with my european friends and they had no idea who iron and wine was, beirut, grizzly bear, wolfgang, white lies,metronomy...(cont)
It's spontaneous, I'd probably agree if they rehearsed the 'moves' but they're just going with the flow lol. The bands energy & antics just adds to the great music they play, it's much better than watching certain artists just standing there throughout the whole set.
@diegoarmijo opino exactamente lo mismo, no conocía nada de ellos antes que los anunciaran como teloneros de RHCP en Lima, y hasta los subestimé, AHORA NO PUEDO PARAR! que tal bandón
i first heard this song on acid and was blown away by the intro i was on pins and needles waiting for the rest of it to play and when it did that guitar mayng that riff they play is forever stuck in my head ... but thats cool dont mind it this is my favorite song!!! XP
i came back to listen to this tune and this album only. The rest is just pure Imagine Dragons meets Vampire Weekend shite. I Saw them in Madrid back in 2007 or 2008 and they were genuinely incredible but the new music is just so so so fuckin boring.
@GLOmorous22 Indie Strut-movement performed by indie rock bands such as Tokyo Police Club and Foals. This movement consists of bobbing ones head while playing ones instrument whilst tapping the right foot.
Is it just me or the guy with the moustache is insanely attractive? Btw, in total, I've listened to this song for 38 times....and I've only discovered it a few hours ago. Addicting much? Totally.
My friend and I were heading to Manchester one cold morning. We had just hopped off the train in Paddington and were making our way to the underground when I recognized someone I knew so I called his name. The only thing was I didn't know this person but that I in fact recognized him through a year long obsession. But it didn't occur to me that I didn't actually know him till it was too late, and Yannis was walking towards me after yelling his name. He was too cool and hairy to be real. The end.
I am pretty sure the drummer for Foals has to be injected with speed before each performance. He is one of the fastest, most precise drummers in indie rock.
You said what i was thinking😂😂
It's posible but in metal and hard rock music, you have a lot of faster drummers.
+paulgotik And jazz
But yeah, this part isn't that complicated (I'm a drummer), but it's very tasteful
So, we're just going to disregard Matt Tong, I see!
Hubba BubbaBB Matt's great, as is The Walkmen's drummer. Both are very energetic and always seem to play what sounds right. I don't know if they're the best, but they should both definitely be in the convo.
The dance-ability in this track is incredible. It's a shame they moved away from this sound. There was so much energy there.
Such an underrated album.
The best album.
Not underrated by people who know it.
exactly
Manages to sound ethereal but tight and focused, all at once.
I love this freakin album.
Best song ever
I saw this clip many years ago and it granted me a love for a good indie music. It's 2024, I'm now a grown a"ss man and I come back here every now and then with gratitude and pleasure with a smile on my face.
How forget the moment when Anthony Kiedis played w/ Foals.
Lmao
Lucio RomCastle
More like Baby Hitler.
WOAH.
First Foals song I've ever heard. Just now. Life 20 seconds ago. I am a fan.
Fucking love it.
I use to play this song like a hundred times a day when I was like 13-14 and now it still makes me happy to listen too ❤️
saaaame :) ahh man
I can't think of many bands that can pull off synths and trumpets better than the way Foals do. Everything thing they do is amazing Exceptional band!
...and after all these years..still a classic!
This song/album changed my life.
omg i discover this group today,,,,,, and i looooooooooove foals
Listen to Hummer. Best song so far.
Agreed!
WTF! Hummer it's not the best song. Miami it is
these chords are a work of art
A work of Math
Foals are getting better and better. Maturing musically. Jannis looks weird without a beard now!
There were so many cool bands around in 2008: MGMT, Vampire Weekend, Glasvegas, but honestly Foals are the only one I still like listening to.

I am addicted to this. It makes me so happy and both sad at the same time.
OMG I really really love this song. Like I could cry and laugh everytime.
A band isnt a band without all of its members, but in this case I dare to say, the bassist is the key point to their music.
sosososo talented love them xxx
I really wish they'd go back to this style :(
Jack Perry me too. Me too.
yeah they kinda suck now.
If they played the same style of music over and over, it wouldn't be special. Their music goes into another direction now, which make their older music stand out more.
Yes
They are, bud :)
just saw them live at Roskilde.. they are so amazing live!
IMO this is their best album, it's the math rock sound that does it. Reminds me of a Cast of Cheers. Except, not Irish.
Math rock, never heard of that one. Cool !
But.. Cast of Cheers... not Irish ??
Oh I see, you mean, a band
Mistook that as a hint to a TV series, referring to Big Bang Theory :D
great tune
Love it! love it and I got this on my favourite play list, listen to it often and I will never get fed up of listening to it!!! get indie sound! xxxx :-)
First few seconds of the video, the band are so tight & intense how they play !
Amazing song. Robert would've loved this. Thank you.
Ok, i'll be the one to comment on this in 2020.
Great era. Unbeatable and perfect song. Nothing like it since.
Shame great things can't continue for some odd reason
I love the crow & butterflies & the your Brave musical style.
Forgot just how much i love this album
This brings me back oh boy

Completely forgot bout these guys, great track from a great album. Shame i was reminded about it from Salford FC documentary with mancs of 92
I really loved since the first time that I saw that video, and the most important thing ( beside the music) is the way as they dance, so excited it
i could watch every single one of there vidoes all day and never be bored
please someone tell me they saw Yannis MOONWALK at 1min 28seconds... 01:28 ?
i just found these guys today... they're pretty good so far!
who cares if it is indie or not.... it is foals, and they are amazing.
Very different than the recent albums but still instantly recognizable
cracking tune and and lovely ladies, what more could you ask for!
I love Foals.. they're all so ridiculousy hot it's crazy.
loooove the drums!
This song is so Sweep The Leg Johnny-esque. You can hear the influence. I didn't even realise until now.
Este dia es muy importante, ya que es el dia de darles las gracias a los maestros de la musica por todo lo que nos dan con sus canciones desde los sentimientos que nos hacen sentir hasta la alegria por escucharlos. Feliz dia del musico.
Forever and ever I thought he was saying "We fly balloons on a steel cord" and then "a steel cord of love". And it still made sense.
I first heard this when I was 10 but I didn't know who it was by, so glad I found out last year, fave band
too be honest bro, i have been listening to indie bands like foals since 06-08 and the sad thing is most of the fanbase at that time were americans like me.All those bands/artists that i once listened to on jools holland are now getting millions of views because people are now discovering indie.I remember having conversations with my european friends and they had no idea who iron and wine was, beirut, grizzly bear, wolfgang, white lies,metronomy...(cont)
@MiguelAangelo YESSS, This sunday i'm gonna watch em both!! FOALS and next RHCP!!!
I just adore this song!
Good to see the 80's had so much influence on all the bands now....
how do they actually come up with the most quirkiest videos, i love them omg life
It's spontaneous, I'd probably agree if they rehearsed the 'moves' but they're just going with the flow lol. The bands energy & antics just adds to the great music they play, it's much better than watching certain artists just standing there throughout the whole set.
one of the most favorite

Anyone else miss this version of foals. I mean I like their new stuff just not as into it as this
Their new stuff is very different but is actually good as well. but i have to admit, Antidotes is the best album ive ever heard
Nah they're killer all the way through
I honestly think they're one of the best bands ever
i came back to listen to this tune and this album only. The rest is just pure Imagine Dragons meets Vampire Weekend shite. I Saw them in Madrid back in 2007 or 2008 and they were genuinely incredible but the new music is just so so so fuckin boring.

Amazing! RHCP with Foals here in Peru! =D
First thought: Dude looks like Anthony Kedias....Second thought: This song is sick! Guitars remind me of Minus The Bear... Love it.
This song is amazing
This such an amazing song! And the drummer is rather attractive ;)
nice song, good vidéo
YO ERA FAN DESDE QUE SALIO ESTA ROLA QUE RECUERDOS

Btw, in total, I've listened to this song for 38 times....and I've only discovered it a few hours ago. Addicting much? Totally.
It's you. Looking like Hitler is never attractive unless you're a total piece of shi*. Which is entirely possible.
I love that lambda is written on the wall behind them
it's a great video, Foals have great videos
This is a great vid, really a great vid for this song!! The song is wonderful and together they are really so greeaaat... :DD
