I’m aware of their newer stuff but it’s nice YT suggested me some of their older stuff. Nice to discover the roots and earlier sounds of a band and see them progress to what they are today.
yeah defo, plus foals old stuff was very math rock and some members were involved with and in various other math rock bands i.e The Edmund Fitzgerald so I guess it's in there.
Maria Aguilar Sé que es una pregunta de hace seis años, pero no importa cuando leas ésto, la respuesta es la misma: Porque MTV en español lleva dos décadas siendo malísimo en contenido.
wait wait wait. From My understanding, Math rock is bands like Battles and such. I don't really think this share many similarities to that sort of music. Wouldn't this just be pop or something?
Math rock is basically spontaneous drumming with the lead guitarist following the flow of the music on his own accord and the other components filling in the gaps. More like music vomit, but in a brilliant way.
0:28 LOL at Walter. Killing it!
Miss the old Foals...

yannis used to be in a math rock band so he draws some influences from that genre
Man takes me back to the old days seeing Yannis with no beard.
i personally think this should be classed simply as 'the future of rock'
O baterista é um mostro!
Nice MTV this is, actually broadcasting music.
NICE DRUMMING
I love the guitar tones in this video.
Early Foals > Later Foals
the intro without trumpet just does not feel the same
Love the lyrics
Love this version
Love that drums!
the first beat is like a drum and bass beat, except with more syncopated hi hats
Weird seeing Yannis so clean-shaven.
my first contact with math rock and i didn't even noticed
Antidotes forever
Wow never saw this version,
New order vibes this deep and dark
this is so much color live much more alive
Almost a bare knuckles style.

Why does it matter what genre they are? They make great music. No other information is necessary.
@PharLap13 The drummer plays with math rock drum beats I think
I love FOALS!!!
nice tune!
thrilled to see them performing here in korea in a week =)하하핫
it matters in terms of practicalities
I LOVE it.
Fuel called love❤️
This guys are freaking awesome (I know it's not the most clever thing to say, maybe this: "yabadabadoooo" gets there ^^) !
@JEB375 It clearly has math rock elements.
stark.
"I AM YANNIS WHO ARE YOU?"
"STICK GUY!"
oh hahahha my apologies, two foals videos were playing at once, i am an idiot
@areetlikehew hmm i'll check them out. i've heard LITE, pretty good.
@areetlikehew Yeah, I woldn't say it's math rock, but it's definately math rock-ish ;)
definitely mathletics yo
Por qué esto nunca se transmitió en MTV en Español????? D:

@areetlikehew What the heck is Math Rock? what's up with all these weird genres?
wait wait wait. From My understanding, Math rock is bands like Battles and such. I don't really think this share many similarities to that sort of music. Wouldn't this just be pop or something?
lol - math rock is like early minus the bear and such...

luke cooper well, that's not math rock.
