    Just showed my son the part of your kid taking out his dirty box, washing, drying, and putting it all away. He says he wants that. Can’t wait to convert 5 cubes of his shelves with him. Thank you for this

    Yes! We do the same thing! When they were little I had small laminated pictures on the front so even my youngest could easily put their own laundry away. We even use this system in our RV. I also love how durable the shelves and bins are, I can't tell you how many dresser drawers they've broken over the years.

      I love that even if they destroy their bins, it is only $4 to replace one! 🙌🏼

    This is a great video! We have been using the bin system for at least seven years that I can think of. I had the same problem, putting the laundry away. And I agree on the 'no wrinkles' and the perks of having laundry done! I just hang up Dress Clothes and all others go into a bin for my kids and I. Kids so their clothes. DH still prefers to hang up his clothes. Anywho we started with three and are going on seven kiddos and haven't changed back to another system. I love it! Great video and for sharing the idea!

    This is a super cool idea. We actually have them storage bins from Ikea, we have them in the living area for sorting toys. I was going ask about the ironing 🤣

      I should have mentioned that before this, my kids would put up their own clothes in their drawers. I didn’t require folding because that meant that either they didn’t want to do it or I would have to do it, and mama didn’t want to mess with any of that. This solution actually leaves more breathable space for those clothes, so we actually have fewer wrinkles.
      Also, I am not even sure I own an iron. 😂 if I ever needed wrinkles out of something, I’d just spritz it with water and toss it in the dryer for a few minutes.

    GIRL!!! This literally is going to change everything!! I was just complaining to my husband a couple days ago about how much I hate laundry! I'm from a big family (10 kids, same mom and dad. I'm the oldest at 25 and the youngest is 5!) So I just sent your video to them! :) I totally subscribed to your channel and can't wait for more videos!! 😘💕

      @@learningthroughlife2007 I only have 2 kids (but plan on having a "big" family so I know laundry will only get worse if something doesn't change!
      Also did I see a berkey water filter?! We just got one for christmas and love ours!

    I love this! Gonna try this with my 4 boys! So all the bins are clean clothes except one for dirty clothes right? Your kids washes All the clothes together? Or do they separate them from blacks/colors,,etc??? You don’t know how many dresser they have broken..hopefully these last!

  • @brandyf7937

    Where did you get your bins?

  • @lisser0707
    @lisser0707 3 года назад

    This isn't a bad idea, but the dirty clothes bin doesn't need to be cloth bc it can mold.

    • @learningthroughlife2007
      @learningthroughlife2007  3 года назад +1

      That’s a valid concern. So far, we have not encountered that issue because wet clothes do not go in there. If we do have wet clothes, we dry them on a clothes line or we put them directly into the washer. For families that do have wet or muddy clothes, an option would be to line it with a trash bag, or to simply replace when destroyed. The bins are only $4/ea. so I would let that influence the decision.
