Vaseline petroleum jelly is another good way to maintain the seal on the refrigerator seal around the door. Simply wipe clean into the crevices removing food particles and spills if any. This takes too long and I'm a busy person. Just ensure you buy a good fridge freezer and ensure the door closes properly especially if you have teens around who swipe and go with their food to go. 😂 A little cleaning of your fridge weekly or monthly to keep it tip top condition is all that's needed.
We are so busy but we both decided to stick around and watch this dumb video with no audio, that was annoying to me if I want to read I’ll grab a book😂
My fridge is 2 years old and I have no teens. The seal in my freezer is coming apart and I clean it 2 times a week. And I have a $2300 fridge. They just aren’t made like they used to. so I appreciate these tips. Thank you!
Charcoal also works for refrigerator odors. Just put like a small cup or container in a back corner of the fridge with a couple of charcoal briquettes and it works twice as good as baking soda.
It's not a scam it's basically like putting the box of baking soda in there that's just their version of doing it at least that's what I'm assuming have a beautiful safe New Year. 🙏🏡🤍
In the US they even make special boxes of Baking Soda specifically to put in the fridge for a month and it does the same thing as your TP hack; plus, it's smaller than a roll of TP. Kitchen paper in the fridge.
Thank you for the tip. The wet soda does absorb smells better than the dry box. I really liked the paper towel test, too. From Albuquerque, New Mexico.
@@preciosarandle7637 that's a stupid thing to say. How many people do you have visit and have them clean your refrigerator. I don't make my company cook their own meals either
Both remedies in this video are cool ideas. Thanks for sharing. Another remedy for Freezers that don't stay shut is to rub Vaseline around the gasket on the door. I don't know how it works, but it does. We ran into this situation several years ago, and figured why not give it a try? I was absolutely amazed at the results.
Just open a Box of baking soda, place it in the back of the fridge is just as good and no need for toilet paper. I like the idea of the blow dryer to close the fridge. 😁👍
Yeah it's a must if you see a toilet roll in someone's fridge to check there cupboards for some brown sauce and smeer some on the back of it because you just know if any other guests see toilet paper in a fridge they are bound to pick it up and be such a scream of a joke when they see that brown stripe
Just put a box of opened baking soda in the fridge. Does the same thing. They even make the baking soda boxes where you open on the sides w/o having to open the top of the box. There's a mesh cover that allows the soda to do what it does. Use your toilet paper for the purpose in which it is made.
It doesn't do the same thing. Paper is far better at absorbing excess moisture. Fresh vegetables give off tons of moisture. If you want to avoid a soggy roll of tp sitting on your self, slip in into a zip lock bag but don't zip it shut.
If this is working for you great however I can't imagine how the seals will not eventually become dried out and brittle. I thought these seals were meant to periodically be gently moisturized, in an effort to keep them supple ?

You can already buy a box of Arm and Hammer baking soda with the side vents for less than a dollar to soak up more odors in a month than a couple tablespoons in a roll of TP. That roll of TP cost more than a whole box of baking soda. BTW, I'd be getting rid of that linear compressor LG.
Both were good things to know, thanks. You can use a box of Kleenex if TP bothers you. My mother used to use brown colored napkins Paper towels and even newspaper will work. And don’t forget to,use in your trunk. Janice. A little North-of Memphis, TN
My mother always used the charcoal from the aquarium or pet store for the trunk. She stuck it in an pair of pantyhose that had a run on one leg. She would cut the foot off, fill with charcoal and tie it with a knot. When it stopped absorbing the odor, she would unknot it, empty the charcoal out into a large bowl, give it a rinse and let it dry, then re use it. I even do that with my fridge. I used an old curtain metal hook to hang it in the fridge. I had some fine mesh cotton fabric left from something and sewed it into a smallish square, sewed a bit of Velcro to the one side, filled with charcoal and it lasts for ages. At the first whiff of any scent, I take it out, wash the charcoal and the fabric, dry them and reuse them. It is cheap af and lasts for a really long time.

It's common to open the baking soda box and just put the whole box in there. I don't understand the need for toilet paper at all. Humidity maybe? Refrigerators are self regulated though. I don't know. Seems wasteful.
Gravity is your helper: Adjust its front feet up a little. This puts the front higher than back. Ideally, gravity helps complete the door shutting. Generally, I think it is still a feature: Not all floors are level. Best done when first putting the fridge in its spot or later with help from someone. If the strip is too small, some are designed to be pulled out for a new one to be pushed in. Check your warranty and repair/maintenance insurance because DIY might void coverage. Or if appliance is owned by rental service etc ask for a fix. Their choice to fix seal, adjust feet, or replace unit. Otherwise read its user guide or maker’s website or ask your network for help. I’ve seen tutorials on social media, RUclips mainly. Closing: Check this first. Closing should complete without an aggressive shove. Seal: Do this if needed. HEAT: Kitchen design with stove/oven right next to fridge means the fridge will have to work harder; the fridge seal is doomed to shrink or warp. Headache, spoilage, costly energy, failed appliance. When in doubt, ask. You don’t have to know enough to be an expert. You do need to know enough about who to trust, and especially when DIY will cost more or endanger your home or office.

We use a whole box of Baking Soda in the fridge, it doesn't cost much and when you start to smell orders again just replace the box.
I like the seal advice. Thanks… I thought the tp was a dehumidifier… have you compared this to just putting an open box of soda in the fridge?
Thanks for the info.
I'm not too stuck up to humble myself to new ideas.
This takes too long and I'm a busy person. Just ensure you buy a good fridge freezer and ensure the door closes properly especially if you have teens around who swipe and go with their food to go. 😂 A little cleaning of your fridge weekly or monthly to keep it tip top condition is all that's needed.
Sure, I do so, from Kenya
We are so busy but we both decided to stick around and watch this dumb video with no audio, that was annoying to me if I want to read I’ll grab a book😂
My fridge is 2 years old and I have no teens. The seal in my freezer is coming apart and I clean it 2 times a week. And I have a $2300 fridge. They just aren’t made like they used to. so I appreciate these tips. Thank you!
@@ladytravels4808 😂 I’m glad I had time to read this!! Haha!! 😝🤣
Totally agree
Charcoal also works for refrigerator odors. Just put like a small cup or container in a back corner of the fridge with a couple of charcoal briquettes and it works twice as good as baking soda.
Now, THAT'S a tip worth trying! Thanks for that. Now I don't feel like this video was a complete waste of my time!
BBQ!!!
Now I am thinking this channel is just spam putting toilet paper in the fridge is just nuts .
Last thing I want to see in my fridge is toilet paper. Why didn't they just use a paper towel roll.
It's not a scam it's basically like putting the box of baking soda in there that's just their version of doing it at least that's what I'm assuming have a beautiful safe New Year. 🙏🏡🤍
Agree
A box of baking soda is cheaper
@@lorettascott5477 prefer box of baking soda
In the US they even make special boxes of Baking Soda specifically to put in the fridge for a month and it does the same thing as your TP hack; plus, it's smaller than a roll of TP. Kitchen paper in the fridge.
You are delightful! 😊🌹
I had no idea that you could fix the seal with a hair dryer! Definitely going to need to try this!!
Thank you for the tip. The wet soda does absorb smells better than the dry box. I really liked the paper towel test, too. From Albuquerque, New Mexico.
My home town. 😁 Miss GOOD Mexican food. No one is more snobbish about it then a native New Mexican. 😂
Did they pay you to say that?
I guess you don’t want company over, and that’s ok
@@preciosarandle7637 that's a stupid thing to say. How many people do you have visit and have them clean your refrigerator. I don't make my company cook their own meals either
@@elsiebaxter8094 NO. Cut paper towel roll and used that.
Do you put it on the flat side or in the ridges?
Def won't be wasting my TP for this lol
Just open a Box of baking soda, place it in the back of the fridge is just as good and no need for toilet paper. I like the idea of the blow dryer to close the fridge. 😁👍
The blow-dryer was a GREAT idea to solve the fridge problem! Thank you from the USA!
TOILET PAPER IN THE FRIDGE 🤦 NO!!!
Yeah it's a must if you see a toilet roll in someone's fridge to check there cupboards for some brown sauce and smeer some on the back of it because you just know if any other guests see toilet paper in a fridge they are bound to pick it up and be such a scream of a joke when they see that brown stripe
Canada the white print is Very difficult to read!! At the current price of toilet paper nope!!
No thank you! Toilet paper belongs in our toilet. What a turn off to see a toilet paper inside your fridge! 🤣🤫
Thank you so much I am watching from Redding, Pennsylvania
No kidding! 🤯 watching from Hartford Maine, USA 🇺🇸 Thanks for sharing these awesome tips & tricks! 😊
How is this different than just putting an open box of baking soda in the fridge?
Clicked on for the toilet paper trick and learned how to fix my fridge 😁 wasn't expecting that...ty🤓
I'm not wasting a entire roll of tissue.
Toilet Paper in the fridge. Wow. I loved this video will be sharing on all my socials. Thank you for making this content !!!
My Fridge is 13 years old & appreciate using the blow dryer to renew the magnet to make the doors close tighter. Great tip!
If this is working for you great however I can't imagine how the seals will not eventually become dried out and brittle. I thought these seals were meant to periodically be gently moisturized, in an effort to keep them supple ?
The text is very hard to read on the white on white background. Primarily around the 2:35 mark.
Also the text is not on the screen to always read all the way through!!!
You don't need the toilet paper. You can literally just put a bowl of baking soda in the refrigerator... smdh 🤦♀️
But you’re missing out on using the baking soda laden toilet paper afterwards in the washroom. Farts become fresh breeeze
Greetings to all. We're watching from the Kaziziachwiechen Federation in western Asia. We reside in the Capitol city of Kaziziachhoenenberg. Ziekweiklictenstier to all !!
Although I live in the United States, I wasn't born here. I immigrated from Zorkbrennanbergistan. Am from Zorkfreiverichtdressian Province, which, truth be told, is actually both the Capitol City as well as the largest in both km2 and population in the nation. I actually grew up on the historic Ziegrieststaffenbrei River. Great memories !!! Vietriwsakistried to you. 👍
In your trunk??? You still have the dead body stench in your trunk??? How often are you serial killing anyhow?
😅
Lovely tip. Thanks. Watching from Jacksonville , Florida. Happy New Year. 👍🏼👍🏼
Am in Kenya watching
Are you serious? There’s absolutely no reason to use a roll of TP 😂😂😂 dry Baking Soda alone does the trick.
Please indicate if the toilet paper is clean or used😮
Of course it is clean!!! Have you ever tried to roll up an entire roll of used TP?
Thank you for sharing the great ideas! 👏🏼👏🏼✨❤️✨🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

I bet no one is eating the meatballs after seeing toilet paper in the fridge.
I don’t think I could fit a sheet of toilet paper in my fridge most times….lol
I’ll try it too! Thanks !
Hi! That was great! what’s your tips on cleaning out Clothes washing machine machines front load style?
White letters are hard to see and your sentences go by too fasy
Yeah. I pause the video to read them. And yes, sometimes, it is, difficult, or, impossible, to read, due to the white lettering on the lite background.
Thanks for the great ideas but…The words disappear before I can read the entire sentence! Slow down ! What’s the rush?
Toilet paper is expensive & takes up now space than just putting the box of baking soda in the fridge. They make the box so you can open the side of it & hide it in s back corner.
Why do people try to complicate things?
Some people do not like baking soda. So t p just have to do.
Life is all about choices. Life is complicated than isn't it.
Love both these ideas. I am hoping the fridge seal tip works when I try it. Many thanks from the UK for taking the time to make this longer video. x
Toilet paper in the fridge and thank you because my seal isn’t ceiling and I have the same problem. It doesn’t seal when I close it and I have to push on the door. Stumbled on this video. Really glad.
I did this with cayan peppers instead of baking soda. After refrigerated I put it back on the dispenser. Feels soothing and masks odors and wakes you up.
🤣🤣🤣 Best comment I've read in a long while lmfao
Lmao! That's great
Oh heck no! After the whole restriction and shortage on toilet paper after the pandemic, I will not be wasting any toilet paper ever…😩
New here, because toilet paper is still expensive here in Nebraska, we are trying a couple folded up sheets of paper towels. Thank you for sharing your ideas with the toilet paper, baking soda and hair dryer. Appreciate it. Have a wonderful day.
Toilet paper in fridge I saw it and now have to try it out. Thank you
This is my Taco Bell ritual. Put a roll of TP in the fridge, essential!
"you will be surprised what happens"
Yes, no one will want to take food from it anymore!

It's common to open the baking soda box and just put the whole box in there. I don't understand the need for toilet paper at all. Humidity maybe? Refrigerators are self regulated though. I don't know. Seems wasteful.
That's a waste of a roll of toilet paper, just put an open box of baking soda in the refrigerator and that will absorb the odors.

Thank you for putting this on line, John Paul from New Zealand, take care dear friend and a happy new year to you
