      😆😆 MikeT knows his name. Coach invited Nick Herb to the party and Nick Herb showed up.

      @RebeccaTaylorTillery Месяц назад +3

      @@CompleteProducer84 their base defense is the 3-4. There are different different defensive packages, so it doesn't always look like a 3-4. But, you always have the 3 men on the line, 2 defensive linemen and the nose tackle. Sometimes the outside linebackers are on the line or very close to the line, so that you have more men rushing the quarterback. And it looks like everyone is on the line or very close to the line for a blitz. But, regardless of how the linebackers line up, the base defense is the 3-4. Now with the 4-3, you have 4 defensive linemen on the line and only 3 linebackers.

    That would be amazing coaching if Tomlin was able to get Nate Herbig a sack fumble since he is an injured offensive lineman. Seems way more likely that Nick Herbig would be the one to do it.

    He is a players coach, he knows how to communicate with each of his playmakers. He "shifts" constantly talking to each player and each player knows he puts in the work for them to treat them the way they want to be treated.
    He is going to walk up to Feiremuth and slap him on his back and say "Big catch MUUUUUUTH" but then walk up to Wilson and shift to what Wilson needs to hear which is a compliment sandwich.
    Love it or hate it, its what works with a bunch of pro athletes that can go anywhere and play for anybody but if you have a coach that is working hard to get to know each player and understands what each player needs to be motivated to go 100% then you get the Steelers.

    It Highlights Sean Payton's failure really. No matter what he's doing with Nix, they are still paying Russ and it's Sean's fault he couldn't make Russ successful (even though the Bronco's weren't that bad last year). They could have used that pick on another edge or OL or something. But Sean is not planning on coaching for much longer (3 years) and he wanted to start from scratch so he threw Russ under the bus last year. But Payton has to deal with Reid/Mahomes and Harbaugh/Herbert and there''s no way he's going back to the SB before he retires

    I certainly think Mikey T is entertaining to watch, but at the end of the day he needs to win a playoff game sometime soon. It's been about seven years since a playoff W. And it's not like the playoff losses are close, his teams get blown out. Like Tomlin, but I like Playoff Ws more. Let's hope for some this year.

      With the QB room that Mike has had over the last few years I have to give him some credit for at least keeping the team competitive. Now in the NFL if you don't have a great QB you have no chance of winning the Super Bowl.
