Andrew... let me tell you. We just watched this at 3am after Amanda got out of bed wanting macaroni and cheese. She's crying after seeing the finishing touches you put on it and the drivers names... thank you for dedicating this build to our little girls and participating in the Double Trouble buildoff. This has been a long time in the making. Those cars have traveled the world literally. To see you do the research and get the measurements as close to accurate as you can and then watch this build come together the way that it did. Its perfectly amazing my friend. I absolutely love the thought you put into getting the rake out of the lift kit and the dual motor setup and especially the cuts you made to join these cars together. I don't see one thing I would change. This is a masterpiece. Thank you my friend ❤👊
Thanks so much, Jay and Amanda! I’m going to change the intro warning to read ‘Best viewed with macaroni and cheese’! 😂 Seems to help. You went all out to get me the castings for the project, which I so much appreciated, and although the deadline was pushed back a few times, it ended up suiting the Double Trouble theme for this Spring. Everything on the Gigahorse is double! I know these don’t ship well, with all the delicate parts, but if you wish (and have any display room left) I’d be most happy to pack it carefully and send it to you. Petra and I send our love to you and the babies. ❤️ Can’t wait to see the first pictures of the beautiful family! 🍁😀👊

You have a special thing going here with all these Fury Road builds and they deserve to be together. Please hold onto this double trouble gigahorse. Maybe the day we make it to Switzerland I'll take it off your hands 😎👊
Thanks, JV! I know the film tried hard to make Namibia look like Australia, and I did my best to make this little recreation look like the Gigahorse! 🍁👍😀
Outstanding work, definitely not an easy build to undertake with all the kit basing, 3d printing involved. But you certainly pulled it off in the end, with another fine addition to your wasteland diorama.
Thanks, John. That's nice to read. The scorched earth diorama is already crowded. An expanded version is on the drawing board! I have no space to display these things, so it's going to eat up even more of my hobby desk! But I like looking at them during breaks. 🍁👍👊😀
What can I say but amazing job Andrew! You hit all the important aspects of the Gigahorse, and make me wish I would have had the stamina to follow through on my own build way back when. Maybe someday. "Great job" doesn't seem worthy enough a statement for such a dedicated build.
Thanks, Jamie. Right from the start, trying to fuse the two Caddys together properly, I thought I might have bitten off more than I can chew at this level. But I pressed through, not having bailed on a project yet. I see all the mistakes I made, so I may try another one some day, down the line. For now, it sits on my scorched earth diorama with the War Rig and the others, taking up space on my hobby bench! I hope you'll finish yours. Dust it off. I'd love to see Part 2! There are surprisingly few Gigahorse diecast videos, considering its prominence in the film. 🍁👍👊
Wow. Andrew. Another stunning build. Highly detailed and as accurate as any one could do.......you need to send photos of these to the movie people when finished.......
Thanks, Pete. It was a challenge in this small scale size, but once the two Caddys were fused together, it was just adding small bits and pieces one at a time. I appreciate your kind feedback. That means a lot to this hobbyist! 🍁👍👊😀
Thanks for that, Toni. It got the regular one week total on the bench, like all the others, but probably more hours involved. I appreciate the feedback, my friend! 🍁👊
I knew that this was going to be an exceptional build Andrew, knowing you and the quality of your work...and the caring you would put into such a special project. I waited to watch it until I had a block of time where I could sit back and really savor each moment...and even anticipating all of this ahead of time, I was still blown away. Knowing it would involve some kitbashing and some resin printing, I absolutely loved how much of the build was odds and ends cobbled together and how while there were some 3d printed parts, they made up such a small part of the overall build. I cannot begin to express how much I enjoyed this build and the video. It's what I love to see, the craftsmanship involved in taking these existing "things" and making them into so much more. Thank you so much for the entertainment and inspiration you provide.
Well, you just made my day, Jim. Thanks for the kinds words. You know how highly we all think of Jay and Amanda, so yeah, lots of extra care went into this beast. I have truly enjoyed the couple of Fury Road projects I've done, as they feel like something I've created from bits and pieces. Hey, there are some staples on the floor under the tool chest. Yup, I can use those...! There was a sense of satisfaction at the completion of this one, even though I see my mistakes glaring at me. 😂 I appreciate your kind feedback. It feels like a big family to me where we all do things for each other, hopefully with lots of smiles resulting. Take care now! 🍁👊😀

Unbelievable Andrew . Such an amazing build. Really enjoyed watching this one . Love the trick with the staples . So many more great tips I learned . Thanks so much for sharing this video .
Thanks, Chris. The staples usually look pretty good as rads. I used two different sizes/types on this one. Amazing, what's usually just laying around the house somewhere that can be made use of in this hobby!🍁👍😀
Thanks, BJ! It's pretty hard to hit all the details in this scale, but I had fun with it and that's the main thing! So happy to read your fine feedback. I'm encouraged! 🍁👊
Wow!!! Awesome work of art. Impressive. If you just have another one for selling I'll the first offering you. Wepll, dreaming don't coast anything. Congratulations for that skills.
Thanks so much for your interest in my hobby work. Unfortunately the Gigahorse is not available for sale. More Fury Road stuff coming soon though. Stay tuned! 🍁☕️👍
Thank you, Ron. It fun to do a 'big' job now and then. I enjoy the building part of these. Kinda feels like it's something I created, instead of just painted. Got a couple more Fury Road vehicles in the pipeline. 🍁👍
Thanks, Mark. I enjoy the 'behind the scenes' films about the making of these cars. They're the real stars of the movie, after all. Lots of info out there, and they really helped me with measurements and angles, etc. 🍁👊👍
@MapleLeafCustoms Thanks, I play a game called Gaslands and it uses matchbox sized cars. It's set in a post apocalyptic world where cars are modified mad max style. I've already picked up a few tips which should help me a lot. Best Regards!!
For sure. I hand it to the original creators for coming up with such an epic idea of fusing the two Caddys together, the tractor tires, dual engines, etc. Beast is the right word for this one! 🍁👊
Andrew, you have become a master modeller! This was very impressive! Believe it or not. I only saw Fury Road for the first time on Thursday in preparation for your build. I love action movies. I love car movies so I was really surprised that I did not like the movie considering how highly recommended it was. Anyway, thanks for all the treats this week. I enjoyed all three videos you did.
Thanks, RJ. It was a busy week because of those two Thursday deadlines for other people's invitationals. I can't control that but I'm glad I found time to get in on them. Happy you enjoyed my Gigahorse too. Fury Road isn't my favourite film (pretty thin story line), but I enjoyed the work they did on the vehicles. Even more interesting for me are some of the 'behind the scenes' mini documentaries on the making of them. What didn't you enjoy about the film? Have a super day! 🍁👊
@@MapleLeafCustoms I guess 2022 is not the best time to watch a post-apocalyptic movie. If I had seen it in 2015 like I had originally planned, I probably would have enjoyed it more.
@@bigbadbandicoot2744 Ha! I instantly did a wiki search too, right after your comment. 😀 There's a Greenlight casting but it's already done as the Razor Cola. I have spotted a few Falcons on eBay that should fit the bill. I might start with the Interceptor and then do the Razor Cola as a Part II. Might have to 3D print the engine for that one. Also looking for a Man Multi 1 for the Fury Road Doof Wagon. That looks like an intimidating build, but that's the fun of the hobby - trying new things and getting better with each build. Thanks again for taking an interest and following along. I'll work my way through them all, as special videos. 🍁👊
great work, plain and simple. :D all the details make it look very much the real deal. :) something that doesn't become too obvious while watching the movie is how many details they put into every vehicle, because scenes are too busy, or however we are distracted. until one sets out to recreate them... even Max' Falcon XD has at least three versions throughout the movies, and neither model kit (Aoshima if I recall right) nor any other model is really completely accurate.
I'm sure we miss a lot of those details when watching the film. I've enjoyed the 'behind the scenes, making of...' mini documentaries, some of which I referenced in this video. That's where you see all that went into these vehicles, which are the real stars of the movies. 🍁👍👊
This does look incredible sir but if I may the way the real one was done the top Cadillac was left with it's original dimensions where as the bottom one was made wider how ever when it's all don't doesn't matter you still did a phenomenal job and I adore this built
Thanks for the honest feedback. I'm aware of the film car dimensions, but doing it that way was going to cause more problems with the base needing widening as well as the body. In the end, I use the film build as a guide, but I give myself room to freestyle a bit. They're lots of fun to do as occasional specials on the channel. Got another Fury Road vehicle coming in late summer - the Doof Wagon. 🍁👍

Hi, David! Thanks so much for the fine review. My Fury Road diorama is filling up! Enjoy that top down tour. 😎 We woke up to April Fools Day snow and it hasn't stopped... 🍁👊
Andrew, once again you outdid yourself. You know, these are not my style, but the fine details and the outstanding execution leave me speechless for another time.
Thanks, Tina. I enjoy doing this type of build now and then and I appreciate you spotting some of the details. That means it wasn't wasted time! Enjoy the day! 🍁😀
Gotta paint the head n taillights to make it more lifelike.. helluva job building your own " hotwheels" Gigahorse!!
Thanks for watching. Hope you have a great holiday season ahead. 🍁☕️👊
This is absolutely INCREDIBLE Bro!!
The minute delicate details are top notch 😍
Thanks so much for the kind words, DCC. I did my best. Still learning how to improve in so many areas! 🍁👊😀
Impressively detailed model, brilliant work :)
Thank you very much, Juhani! It does have lots of little bits and pieces hidden on it! Thanks for the fine feedback! 🍁👊😀
Wow amazing view 🤗👍🤝🙏
Thanks, NC. I appreciate the kind words. 🍁👊
This was a blast to watch a masterpiece created. Smashing job Andrew👍 this is so authentic looking
Thanks, Sam. It's hard to get it just right on this small scale, but I did my best. Glad you enjoyed it. I'm encouraged to do some more of this type. 🍁👊
Excellent customization job!.. I'd say it was worth all of the extra work and time you had to put in!!
Thank you, Thomas. Yes, there was some satisfaction looking at it at the end, flaws and all. I appreciate the kind words. Take care now. 🍁👊
Amazing - very well done!
Thank you very much! I appreciate the kind words. 🍁👍
Yes. Do the doof wagon.
Great video.
Coming soon! Sep 17th. 🍁👍
Well what can I say Andrew, you excelled yourself this time ,you and your channel are doing fantastic, and long may it continue
All the best Martin 👍
That's nice to read, Martin. I appreciate the kind words and your ongoing support for my projects here. 🍁😀👊
Great! Beautiful work. As always. Saludos desde Argentina!!
Thanks, Mister Ka. Greetings from Switzerland! 🍁👍👊😀
"Black and red are just generic evil/power/antagonist colors."
OK, so that works! 🍁☕️👊
Excellent build!
Thanks, Mark! I had to take a few liberties here and there, but did my best on it, on this smaller scale. Glad you enjoyed it. Take care now. 🍁👊
Great job 👌 cool 👍👍👍
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed this big build! 🍁👍
Nice work it Almost looks like the Monster Cadillac from the Mad Max Fury Road Movie.
Thank you, Nathan. As close as I can do it, at this skill level. Lots of room for improvement, I know! 🍁😀
Andrew this build turned out amazing. Looks exactly like the one in the movie. Amazing work as always my friend.
Thanks, BJ! It's pretty hard to hit all the details in this scale, but I had fun with it and that's the main thing! So happy to read your fine feedback. I'm encouraged! 🍁👊
Fantastic job
Thank you, JLS! I do these Fury Road vehicles now and then as special projects! I appreciate the kind words. 🍁👍
Thats amazing. You are very talented.
Thank you for the fine feedback! Cheers! 🍁👊
Great job Andrew 👍
Thanks. I knew it would be a big project, going into this one. Extra time. Extra fun. 👍
@@MapleLeafCustoms you're welcome 😊
Wow ! Awesome build !
Thanks, KCD! It was a big project for the special invitational of a friend. Extra work went into this one. 🍁👊
Stay tuned! 🍁☕️👍
Mad Max would be proud!!
Ha! It was fun to work on. I'm hoping Jay and Amanda will like it. 🍁😀
@@MapleLeafCustoms I think they will!
impressive build Andrew! well executed representation of the Gigahorse!
Thank you, Ron. It fun to do a 'big' job now and then. I enjoy the building part of these. Kinda feels like it's something I created, instead of just painted. Got a couple more Fury Road vehicles in the pipeline. 🍁👍
@@MapleLeafCustoms I agree, give one a sense of accomplishment beyond a repaint and wheel swap.
Hang on, I have to pick my jaw up from the ground! 😄what can I say but Magnfique! I liked the intertwining of the movie clip!
Thanks, Mark. I enjoy the 'behind the scenes' films about the making of these cars. They're the real stars of the movie, after all. Lots of info out there, and they really helped me with measurements and angles, etc. 🍁👊👍
Awesome Job my friend
Thank you, Marcos! Cheers! 🍁👍😀
Wow nice work, glad I found this channel
Me too. Lots of Fury Road stuff here, if you do a contents search. 🍁☕️👊
@MapleLeafCustoms Thanks, I play a game called Gaslands and it uses matchbox sized cars. It's set in a post apocalyptic world where cars are modified mad max style. I've already picked up a few tips which should help me a lot.
Best Regards!!
Quite the beast!!
For sure. I hand it to the original creators for coming up with such an epic idea of fusing the two Caddys together, the tractor tires, dual engines, etc. Beast is the right word for this one! 🍁👊
Bravo 👏👏👏😁👍🇧🇪
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the Gigahorse! 🍁👍
amazing work
Thank you very much! Cheers! 🍁✌️
Excelente video saludos y muchos éxitos bendiciones para todos
Muchas gracias por las palabras positivas. Saludos desde Suiza! 🍁👊
That came out way hot 👍❤👊😁😎 Hollaaaaa Hollaaaaa
That was a pretty big project with lots of small details. Holla! 🍁👊
Wow awesome custom!!!
Thanks CBC! It's a special build for friends and their twins. Double Trouble! 🍁👊
Amazing build sir👍🔥🔥😍😎
Thanks, Dane. It came together pretty well. So glad you liked it! 🍁👊😀
Excelent my friend 👍
Thanks for watching regularly and for your encouraging feedback. 🍁👍
Sick build Andrew 👊
Thanks, brother! Glad you enjoyed the Gigahorse! 🍁👍
Holy shit, thank you algorithm for bringing me here today. Blessings upon the based algorithm and this channel.
I'm glad you found it too, Maxim S! Thanks for the kind words. 🍁👊😀
an amazing build! I actually made my own, but I used 2, 57' Chevy bodies for my build.
I've seen it done with two Mercedes as well. The GigaBenz! 🍁😂👍
Subbed , will go back and watch the other videos, awesome work!
Hey, thanks for the new sub. Cool! I hope you enjoy the other Fury Road vids too. Take care! 🍁👊
You have to do the "RAZOR-COLA" when you get a chance. In my opinion it is the only way the interceptor was improved.
Absolutely. I'll put it in the lineup. Ford Falcon, right? 🍁👊
@@MapleLeafCustoms Ford Falcon XB GT Coupe 1973, according to the wiki!
@@MapleLeafCustoms Can't wait!👍
great work, plain and simple. :D all the details make it look very much the real deal. :)
something that doesn't become too obvious while watching the movie is how many details they put into every vehicle, because scenes are too busy, or however we are distracted. until one sets out to recreate them... even Max' Falcon XD has at least three versions throughout the movies, and neither model kit (Aoshima if I recall right) nor any other model is really completely accurate.
I'm sure we miss a lot of those details when watching the film. I've enjoyed the 'behind the scenes, making of...' mini documentaries, some of which I referenced in this video. That's where you see all that went into these vehicles, which are the real stars of the movies. 🍁👍👊
I want the real-life version!!
I would love to take a ride in it and rip across the desert with you! 🍁👊😀
@@MapleLeafCustoms Cool!!
@@MapleLeafCustoms I look forward to what you make sir phenomenal work
