Guys if you're wondering about Andrewsarchus they are closely related to whales and hippos, both members of a larger order of mammals called artiodactyls this group of two-toed hoofed mammals
Bull crap they they are related to whales and hippos. Your really think a fish crawled out of the water and grew legs and lungs. Never observed in nature but you trust it with your heart. Just because bacteria becomes immune to some medicine or birds getting shorter beaks doesn’t mean they are related to a long lost cousin in the ocean or a dinosaur. How come mosquitoes still look the same as they do in amber? supposedly hundreds of millions of years old. It’s a religion if I’ve ever heard of one. And whale hip bones are not hip bones they attach to muscles for reproductions and birth. So a bunch of molten rock soup got hit by lightning or whatever and magically came alive? What is this Rick and Morty? Show me the missing links show me the evidence. You know bones don’t come out of the ground with date stamped on it. Calculations are off because they only accept what fits their theory and throw out everything else. If it comes back 3,000 years they say “it can’t be” so they test again and get 6 million and then they go oh yeah that’s accurate. How does that work? Evolution is a lie. Raas, another OP trick with the Fjordhawk is that if you fast travel and have the Fjordhawk on your shoulder, you immediately will have your loot with your Fjordhawk to wherever you fast traveled, technically we're talking about being able to transfer your stuff to anywhere you have a bed as many times as you want, and other things about the Andrewsarchus and the Desmodus is that the Andrewsarchus can shoot the minigun underwater and it have an abilitie called "Water Sinking" with wich you can walk and run underwater, and the Desmodus collects a LOT of spoiled meat from creatures you kill, and it can become invisible during daytime but only when it's latched
Really cool Dino’s but the fjord hawk’s second ability of picking up a Dinos inventory and taking it back seems like it should of gone to the pegomastax, being able to return loot from dangerous places would be a great ability for it.

A trick/glitch for yall on the desmodus so you can fly faster than a pt: look at the location you want to fly to whilst in the sky, turn 90° in any rotation, look to the ground, toggle sprint on and fly towards the direction you want, fly slightly downwards temporarily as you are flying sideways and you should take off at like 3x the normal speed
Yep, I figured this out by accident and now it's the only way I fly with em. Hope they don't get nerfed anytime soon, even though they are admittedly a bit OP lol
I find all but Fenrir really good, reason is that with Fenrir, your stuck farming runes and doing boss fights to get him, and being a tame that cant breed means your stuck to farm more of them if you want a pack or your first one dies. Fjordhawk, Andrewsarchus, and Desmodus on the other hand can in handy, you got a living Tombstone mod, Bloodpacks for days and effective aid in raise babies and taming creatures who are knockout tames with the elixir made in its inventory, and a mobile bossing tame that drifts with its Gatling gun mount to keep dishing out damage from range which are all breedable.
I don't know about you but one more reason I personally am disappointed in Fenrir is that you have to do a whole ton of things to get one, and it's not even THAT good. I read somewhere that a 225 Fenrir is identical to a 225 Rex dmg/hp wise, and you can't even mutate it. It's pretty much just bragging rights, and if you ask me, it doesn't even look that good. The animation seems janky and the model itself is like a pre-tlc dire wolf (I know that they pretty much just imported it from the mod but you know, a little bit of touch-ups would be appreciated).
I LOVE them all, they are magnificent, and they also have fantastic abilities. I mainly love the andrewsarchus, i don't know why, but there is something that makes me strangely pleased with the idea of running around on the back of a giant armored hippo-wolf with a giant machin gun on is back
Advanced Fjordhawk tip for you guys: 1. Set up an outpost with a bed near oil spawn/across map/whatever. Gather resources there, have the hawk with you. 2. Weight cap yourself, then die and respawn at main base. 3. Enjoy your free teleported loot! You do need to bring the hawk back at some point, or die again and have it re-teleport to the outpost. In this way you can cross the map! At least in how it looks to work atm. Very strong in PVE for sure, makes distance farming a breeze and is kinda like having a stryder and dedi! It's like a low-tech dedi storage :D EDIT: Apparently the hawk brings the loot if you tele to a bed as well, so as long as you have timer you can move mountains!
We should be getting carchar next scents they announced it to be the final free Dino to all maps And hopefully we’ll get like variants from the dlcs like aberrant Corruption Genesis part 1 & 2
Another note on the desmodus: if you cling vertically so it's hanging, you can go invis while hanging during the day. So you can cloak around the map, then wait out the day and go again!
You can spend a whole day farming resources with Fjordhawk on your shoulder, have yourself killed and almost instantly have everything back at your base like nothing happened. Basically you teleport from the farther side of the map to your base with all your stuff and a little hawk on your side. The elixir from Desmodus seems to be a variation of Mobile's Soothing Balm, taming will be much easier from now on.
Incase you didn't know, Holding down Andrew's sprint button while in deep enough water allows Andrew to walk on the ocean floor (Haven't gotten a chance to watch your vid, Will soon tho!)

I also have to ask something that is bcz of this updator idk why Before this update I played crystal isles and made a lot of progress but after I updated I hopped into the game and opened the crystal isles map and it spawned me as a new character even tho the world is same and my creatures and base is still there but I can't access it cuz of like I am a new character in tht map or something how do I fix it....? that I can play as my previous character. Help would be much appreciated.
I really hope the Andrew can be used in PVP or for saying the minigun mount, mainly because it doesn't do much damage and even though a fast fire rate shooting at a tamed dino with for say 90 armor saddle will be dwarfed even further and damage is not even worth it.

Seems like Fenrir got done dirty. I expected a way bigger powerful combat wolf but it seems kinda like a bit better ravager. Its outdone by every other fjordur creature usefulness wise. Probably won't even tame it.
the Fenrir ice armour is very good it was testing it vs a giga the giga wat hitting me for almost 800 damage then when i got the armour it went down to just over 200 damage
@@Theworldisscrewed I don’t think so considering how you get the thing. Now if it was a normal tame then yes absolutely nerf it but it’s a reward for beating the final boss so the rewards got to be worth it (Giga did give me one hell of a fight though) Edit: if it gets nerfed fair enough
The coolest abil I've seen on it is the freeze which lasts for like 20 secs. So you can freeze a wild tame, dart it a few times, net it, get a few more darts in and probably have it knocked out without even needing a trap.
I think the Andrew will be my new go to travel mount for land. A relative of the living death machine thr hippo Plus a fucking machine gun on its back?! Yes please It'll be op as hell If the damage scales with saddle quality

The hawk is op, you could farm a crazy amount of resorces, die, then get all the stuff insta transferred back to your base☠️

The sanguine elixir also gives an automatic ~30% imprint if used next to a baby creature

The fenrirs have a natural armor of 10 however when you put on the ice spike armor it increases to 80

If you use the boost dash ability in water with the andrewsarchus, it walks along the sea floor like a golem.

Yess I played and I’m loving it so far it’s awesome I love the new creatures to and there’s so much to explore with the different realms

What button do you press to shoot the bullets on the saddle? I loaded it with the right ammo and couldn’t figure out how to shoot
Can you use the fjordhawk for getting drags eggs? Just run in naked and grab an egg, respawn at base with the egg ?

It transports the gear instantly so as long as the hawk is alive when you respawn i would assume it works.
