Top trance song from 1999 it sounds as fresh now as it did back in the day! I wish I could go back to those happier carefree stress free days when life was worth living and we had decent music and people had basic phones! Now most people are brainwashed by them and the phone is there life without there phones they would be lost and probably have a meltdown coz they ain't got a phone glued to there hands 24/7 😎🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
The trance anthem that started it all for Ferry Corsten back in 1999! I had an in depth interview with Ferry in his studio, to ask him about the story behind this massive, massive classic. Hope you all enjoy it! (Available on my channel, alongside a lot of other interviews with people such as Armin, Solarstone, Lange, Chicane, Matt Darey, The Space Brothers, BT, M.I.K.E. Push, Airwave, Carlo Resoort and lots of others!)
It's really fitting that after being one of the first musicians in Europe to get a JP-8000 ferry single-handedly introduced the super-saw to the rest of the trance loving world.
A lot of people are here for nostalgia which is understandable, but this and the other classics are just funkin great to listen to at anytime. A treasure trove of hits from the 90s. Every tune is uplifting and positive. Maybe that's why. Peace.
Probably the greatest trance tunes ever made. Absolutely timeless. 1:50 and 2:03 just bring back so many warm, happy memories. And then boom 2:31 - pure ecstasy and not a single care in the world.
I listened to Nirvana, Alice in chains and other grunge bands back in the day, but ever since Kurt Cobain committed suicide in 1994 I couldn't find any kind of music that made me feel like there were songs written with my taste in mind. That all changed April or around that time in 1999 when I first heard this song as I loved it from the very first time I ever listened to it. I have never loved a song more than I loved this song and even to this day I find it to be timeless, it doesn't feel old at all. It was trance at its finest
I was a grunge baby too. Took a pill in '99 and my eyes were opened. Now I am a trance addict, in 2022, and rarely listen to the grunge - it didn't age well!
Some people may disagree with me on this one but in my eyes this is the defining moment trance Music made it stand and in my eyes it’s the best trance tune ever
A time capsule. I have so many records from 1999 to about 2002. After that I was buying breaks, Techno and house. From from 1998/ 2002, I was buying predominantly Trance
i used to hear this tune late at nights on the weekends on power 96, a local radio station here in miami back in 2000. i was 14 then but something about this tune stuck with me all these years. just brings me to a simpler time
I remember we did a schooltrip from Antwerp to Amsterdam when this track came out. I will always remember our trip to Amsterdam when playing this epic track of Ferry Corsten...

Love these old classics . Takes me back to when I was 17 in my first car hanging out with the lads in the car parks with these tunes pumping out our subs and a girl riding shotgun . 🥰🥰🥰

This is one of the few where the remixes just don't and can't surpass it. Something about the 909 kick off beat hi hat, cheesy electro percussions, electro rolling bassline, and harsh sampled crescendo effects do it justice and define the epic sound of Trance in 1999. The layering of pads with synth were just done right to taste. The beauty of Trance during this time was that it was simple yet effective, they didn't try to over complicate the bass, melody or effects.
I've heard this song for the first on my first big trance party in the Netherlands called ' Innercity' In The RAI in Amsterdam in 1999 ,it was really a great experince!!! i will never forget this :D

This has to be in the top 5 trance tracks of all time. When I first heard it I thought it riffed off an 1980s synth pop track but looking back it probably didn’t.
