To be honest, I was very surprised when I first watched your recent post about this, and now that I'm seeing this one, I can say that I'm not surprised that this wasn't canon.
yeah, as funny as it would be for collin of all people to land loona (lucky bastard), it just wouldnt make sense considering she is still crushing over tex despite him and bee clearly being an item. i CAN see collin having a rough patch with the antics of the other two he normally is with and somehow end up at I.M.P and either being held there essentially as a prisoner and somehow convincing loona if not millie that he doesnt want to fight and was even against the whole killing blitz fiasco. i wouldnt say he'd become friends but likely a reoccurring character around their office considering he wouldnt really have much else to be doing if he decided to abandon the other two cherubs who are getting increasingly deranged with their plots to try and get back into heaven. overall it would be cool if collin becomes friends or just an acquaintance to I.M.P on neutral terms, but HOW they do that would be hard to justify. and if somehow he did become the luckiest bastard to land loona it just wouldnt feel legit because again loona is pretty much simping over tex and collin doesnt really seem like someone loona would want as a partner, but hey maybe they CAN make it work and we are all just narrow minded?

@jyceandersen2732 i mean on one hand it would be cool having collin as a neutral character for the group, someone who isn't a main character or part of their antics, but could be a character that pops up from time to time to assist with some sort of problem they are having were they are searching for something/someone. and i feel as if it wouldn't be a good fit for him to bag Loona because as mentioned before she is more into someone like Tex who while nice to his peers, is likely what many would call a "bad boy" personality. collin would have to either really perform above and beyond in order to sway Loona to even give him a chance which i just dont see happening organically, but with him being a kind hearted person and Loona being a hellhound with some serious aggression (as we have seen in numerous scenes) they are technically polar opposites. BUT i can 100% see them being something similar to friends if nothing else. and while i dont see there being an organic way to make the Loonin ship legitimate, i can think of a scenario where he proves himself to the group and earns Loonas respect. we as the viewers know of all the drama going on with Stolas, Blitz, and Octavia and because of this we all know how to solve the issues they are facing which usually its by TALKING things out but characters like Stolas and blitz are proven to be bad at it. but collin on the other hand could serve as a way of solving the issues, for example he could somehow be kicked out by the other two cherubs and sent to hell and accidentally run into Octavia who herself is kind hearted like collin and he could in a way help her to understand that as an outsider it sounds Stolas did the right thing even if it came with a seemingly harsh punishment. and given that collin would have no clue as to who Stolas is he could offer some comfort to say that if its hurting her this much then could she even imagine the pain HE is going through and how hard it would have been for him to make the choice he made. collin could also in some way protect Octavia (likely from doofus as they saw Stolas and could have figured out who he is and targeted his daughter) because that's something he would do if she was in trouble, and the I.M.P crew could happen to see it and realize that maybe collin isn't a threat to them after all. how would this garner loonas trust? well Blitz is important to Loona, this has been established so far even if she wont admit it openly, and Stolas is important to Blitz, and Octavia is important to Stolas. so in this chain by protecting Octavia (again likely from doofus) collin would be earing the respect and favor of Stolas, Blitz, and likely even Loona. this could be the point where maybe they start to become friends, or at the very least neutral towards each other. and as the series goes on collin can pop up more and more to help them look for things and eventually just become outright friendly with them while keeping his good natured self intact all without harming someone or becoming a bad person. that's just me though, maybe someone else has a better idea for how collin can be inserted into the series and gain friendly ground with I.M.P but if it were my way him protecting Octavia and risking his life would be the best way as it would prove he doesn't like violence and actively would choose to avoid it if he could. and in doing so it would be part of a chain reaction where Blitz would think he's a swell guy for risking his butt for someone he doesn't know (which helping Stolas would make Blitz VERY glad) and Loona would just be glad that Blitz benefited from it in a way and is in a much better mood. this hits all the marks people would like, and it doesnt force an unlikely romantic situation into the series that is already suffering from to many romantic situations. hell, collin could even protect Millie and their baby from an attack which would earn even MORE favor as he again risked his life for those Loona would in some way care about.

Early in _The Full Moon_ Collin's misgivings made me expect that he would dissent from their group and go his own way. I don't know if his weapon was actually capable of killing a hellhound, but the intent was certainly in his expression. I'm not opposed to the idea of a ship between Loona & Collin; there's some interesting fan out of it out there. I just can't see it being written into the series.

Shipping ruins everything. I specifically saw somewhere that there was a studio tour for a different series. The tourist there stole some materials / pics for future episodes and threatened the creators with a request. To ship 2 characters or else they’d release what they took. Not sure what happened. Moving forward, the matter is beyond the simplicity of “these characters can go together because it is possible”, the issue lies in the writing and story implications. Ships in and of themselves are important pieces of a story (and not the other way around). You stated that no chemistry is an excuse I’m using, but I ask you, how can a good story come from this ship if the characters have no chemistry? If they can’t relate to each other? If they have nothing of interest in each other? And but most importantly, how can their relationship enhance the story if they have nothing to offer us, or each other as characters? Loona doesn’t have a single interest in this sheep, not simply because there are better options (though that is still a present factor to consider), but because Collin doesn’t present anything she’s interested in; and hasn’t presented anything that we’re interested in. Do they even have a common ground to share? Everyone has shitty lives in this show, are his problems anything Loona would specifically care about/relate to? And empathize with? No, because there are only two strong traits she has any relation to at the moment: Daddy issues, and the scars of a traumatic beginning to her life in undeserved prison conditions. Collin likely wouldn’t relate to either, given that Heaven likely doesn’t have pounds or prisons or shitty lives in general (to stay true to the difference between Heaven and Hell). What else could they relate over if not Loona’s two most intimate traits? A shitty job? That might get a banter or two, but nothing romantic or remotely interesting in this manner. You see, without this relatability, there’s no ground to base this relationship that would result in any meaningful narrative. To further my point, let’s visit your Husk and Sera scenario. These two characters don’t go together, not just because of their places in life (though that is still a major reason those two would never even look at each other), but because they have nothing to offer each other as characters in a relationship. Husk is a bartender, who lost his soul in a badly placed bet, and ended up in shitty position in life. He works best with characters like Angel Dust, who also sold his soul to a freak, and ended up in a shitty life of his own. Here, he can uplift Angel, by offering advice and guidance from his own experience in a similar situation. You see, they go hand in hand, but he and Sera? Sera is an Angelic leader, whose struggle based in insecurity, worrying whether or not she’s doing the right thing, while looking after Emily as best she can. Husk can’t offer anything from his experience, and thus if they were shipped in an episode, their story wouldn’t work, because there’s nothing there. They have no chemistry together. Do you get the macrocosm of this situation? The big picture I’m painting for you? Loona and Collin can’t tell an interesting, or believable story, because they don’t even relate to each other in the slightest. The possible narrative wouldn’t be bland and boring, as they’d just be there in the background, adding nothing to the story. I don’t care about the “it’s Vivzie’s choice” argument, as it’s little more than an excuse. Only Jesus can turn water into wine, a mere man either brought water or wine to the party; take a guess at which one will appease the guests? But if you’re serious about this ship, and you still believe it can work, you have to tell me, how would you tell a captivating story with Collin and Loona? How can you bring out these characters’ traits and experiences to wow the audience with an incandescent piece of art? It is your turn to convince me, so what will you bring to the table? It needs to make sense, in the manner of being believable.

Shipping ruins everything. I specifically saw somewhere that there was a studio tour for a different series. The tourist there stole some materials / pics for future episodes and threatened the creators with a request. To ship 2 characters or else they’d release what they took. Not sure what happened. I found out about this through Rebel Taxi (RUclips).

Because otherwise why would he leave a comment like that specifically on a Collin X Loona post? But that's just my thought. I think, it was bologna, it would make no sense for a cherub to be engaged to a hellhound, especially Loona. As far as we know her type is hellhounds. The cherubs are enemies to the imp, it just didn't make sense.

Ever heard of opposites attract, give another episode where they actually communicate like with Loona did with Vortex, Bee and Octavia(which that in itself is as almost just as weird and wrong) and change your perspective. Hell Mayberry X Martha was not a couple no one expect where 1 sent assassin's to kill her and yet they both end up a couple together in hell, sure they side characters but the point still stands.

Mainly, Loona works better with rougher folk, or at least others on her level. She does not fit with cutesy cutesy sheep.

Moving forward, the matter is beyond the simplicity of “these characters can go together because it is possible”, the issue lies in the writing and story implications. Ships in and of themselves are important pieces of a story (and not the other way around).
You stated that no chemistry is an excuse I’m using, but I ask you, how can a good story come from this ship if the characters have no chemistry? If they can’t relate to each other? If they have nothing of interest in each other? And but most importantly, how can their relationship enhance the story if they have nothing to offer us, or each other as characters?
Loona doesn’t have a single interest in this sheep, not simply because there are better options (though that is still a present factor to consider), but because Collin doesn’t present anything she’s interested in; and hasn’t presented anything that we’re interested in. Do they even have a common ground to share? Everyone has shitty lives in this show, are his problems anything Loona would specifically care about/relate to? And empathize with? No, because there are only two strong traits she has any relation to at the moment: Daddy issues, and the scars of a traumatic beginning to her life in undeserved prison conditions. Collin likely wouldn’t relate to either, given that Heaven likely doesn’t have pounds or prisons or shitty lives in general (to stay true to the difference between Heaven and Hell).
What else could they relate over if not Loona’s two most intimate traits? A shitty job? That might get a banter or two, but nothing romantic or remotely interesting in this manner. You see, without this relatability, there’s no ground to base this relationship that would result in any meaningful narrative.
To further my point, let’s visit your Husk and Sera scenario. These two characters don’t go together, not just because of their places in life (though that is still a major reason those two would never even look at each other), but because they have nothing to offer each other as characters in a relationship. Husk is a bartender, who lost his soul in a badly placed bet, and ended up in shitty position in life. He works best with characters like Angel Dust, who also sold his soul to a freak, and ended up in a shitty life of his own. Here, he can uplift Angel, by offering advice and guidance from his own experience in a similar situation. You see, they go hand in hand, but he and Sera? Sera is an Angelic leader, whose struggle based in insecurity, worrying whether or not she’s doing the right thing, while looking after Emily as best she can. Husk can’t offer anything from his experience, and thus if they were shipped in an episode, their story wouldn’t work, because there’s nothing there. They have no chemistry together.
Do you get the macrocosm of this situation? The big picture I’m painting for you?
Loona and Collin can’t tell an interesting, or believable story, because they don’t even relate to each other in the slightest.
The possible narrative wouldn’t be bland and boring, as they’d just be there in the background, adding nothing to the story. I don’t care about the “it’s Vivzie’s choice” argument, as it’s little more than an excuse. Only Jesus can turn water into wine, a mere man either brought water or wine to the party; take a guess at which one will appease the guests?
But if you’re serious about this ship, and you still believe it can work, you have to tell me, how would you tell a captivating story with Collin and Loona? How can you bring out these characters’ traits and experiences to wow the audience with an incandescent piece of art?
It is your turn to convince me, so what will you bring to the table?
It needs to make sense, in the manner of being believable.
