    I'm completely new to tech work, and quite frankly i don't know much other than that having a remote job would be sweet for a healthy work-life balance compared to what i do now. I took a quiz online and was told that UI/UX design would be right up my alley. If so, should i look into a Bootcamp based around UI/UX design or should i start with something simpler like coding? Or should i just go back to school? Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

      Hey there, that's great to hear! If you've been guided towards UI/UX design and it resonates with you, it could indeed be a good fit.
      I'd recommend our Complete Web and Mobile Design BootCamp Course. It's tailored to provide practical insights and skills to get you started in UI/UX design. I'll link it down below ⬇️

      However, if you're intrigued by the actual coding behind designs, you might want to explore our career paths for both web design and web development. It can give you a holistic view of both options and help you make the right decision. Linked down below as well ⬇️

      Want to help you out. It also depends. Do you want to learn it quickly? Are you interested in the title or experience you can make and have? Are you looking for options in school?
      I looked at a few. I would recommend Google UX Design for a small entry that looks good for knowing more of what UX Designers can do. There is also The Interaction Design Foundation that tells you a lot in a way thats extremely friendly, sensitive, and extremely polite way of learning. The prices of both of these individually is about less than $300, though you can cancel The Interaction Design Foundation's membership at any time. I found The Interaction Design Foundation to be clean like a janitor on a night shift. I have yet to find Google, though, i heard it has quality.
      Remember that they pay fairly well. Its a good way of living life, especially as you experience that everyone is on a phone or website or app, its like your at the center of everything🌈
      Its like you dont have to worry of what the world is doing online as well🙂⭐️

    Hi, I'm fresh out of high school and want to get into the UX/UI design field. I'm not exactly sure how to get from point A to point B though. I've heard there are a lot of different ways to get the education and skillset needed but I'm not sure what would be the most helpful. Does it make more sense to get a college degree in a related field or spend that time learning the skills on my own through things like bootcamps and RUclips tutorials?

    • @ZeroToMastery
      @ZeroToMastery  6 месяцев назад +5

      Hey, great question!
      Entering the UX/UI design field doesn't always require a college degree; practical skills and a strong portfolio speak louder.
      Many companies are increasingly valuing hands-on experience, which can be gained through bootcamps, online courses, and self-study at a fraction of the cost.
      I will link our free crash course on UX/UI design below, incase you want to check it out 🙂

      @@quizkqp It's been going good. I decided to get a degree in Digital Marketing and Advertising which I think will apply to the UX side of things. I plan to take some design classes as electives to give myself a more rounded skillset. From everything I've researched you just need to prove you have the skills to land a job in the UX/UI field with a strong portfolio. It doesn't seem to matter what road you take to get there as long as you can develop the skills. I guess time will tell if that's truly the case though when I'm looking for a job after graduation!

    • @ZeroToMastery
      @ZeroToMastery  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hey,
      UI (User Interface) design primarily focuses on the look and feel of a product, concerning itself with the presentation and interactivity aspects. It's about how the product is laid out, including buttons, text, images, sliders, and all the items the user interacts with.
      UX (User Experience), on the other hand, encompasses the entire user journey and experience with a product. It's not just about usability, but also about how a user feels while interacting with the product, including their emotions, perceptions, and responses.
      Hope this helped 😊

      It’s not a must to get a master’s in HCI/UIUX right after your BTech, especially without work experience. In this field, hands-on projects and real-world experience often matter more than just another degree.
      Try working on some projects first-you’ll get a better sense of whether a master’s is even worth it for you.
