I really like the torches, aspect of melenoe, just stacking Omega Specials on top of each other, works with most of the Gods, i have done it with Zeus, Poseidon, Aphrodite, Apollo and Hestia.
The Duo Boon between Zeus and Apollo only works for Apollos Cast. Also if an upgrade, upgrades your Special, rather than your Specials (Plural) , it will only affect the standard Special, not the Omega Special.
Gonna definitely try out this cast build!
A really easy way to tell if a boon works on normal attack/special/cast or works on both normal and omega is in the tool tip if it says "Attack" it only works on the normal and if it says "Attacks" with the plural it means just that, it works for both the normal and Omega.

Blitz should be on all Zeus lightning moves like the first Hades
You can head butt the trees when you are the sheep also if you click it really fast you can jump around really fast.
Maybe I just had a crazy amount of luck but I used them lost all my death defiance before the sirens and somehow made it to the end and almost beat chronos (still trying to get my first win) that said the special needs ro have stunlock like the normal attack
The problem is if the flames' special had stunlock they would be absolutely broken, best weapon in the game without a shadow of a doubt. They would have to significantly lower the damage or something to balance it out.
@@dratini4036 the sister blades can stun lock unarmored enemies with just the normal attacks so
@rikkucrowe All weapons can stunlock enemies, but they don't stunlock every single enemy around you while dealing massive damage, like the flames would.
@@dratini4036 fair idk I feel like they need something I would say a faster cast on the omega special but I feel like that might be to good
I feel like the odd one out for liking the normal attack. Not the base version but the one that linger around. Stacked a bunch of bomb in a place, lure the enemy there and detonate it. Got it to hit like 4k dmg in a go once, though that run was a silly one with crit and chaos boon, plus that 1500% daedalus hammer.
The weapons s**ks😂 but will still try to make it worm
Try Hestia/Poseidon duo, with Hestia on special and Poseidon on attack.
synergy great, heat runs just max meta abuse. this coming from someone who is on 16 fear and doesnt enjoy the next level of skill. much prefer the duo aspect. thanks for the vids
I think best throwing cast is Hades
The person who designed the torches weapon has a special place in Hell. Not in cutesy artsy underworld that Hades portrays. No, the biblical christian Dante's Inforno-ish Hell. All the other weapons have their good/bad moments. The torches suck.
Edit: your comment at 10:04 says it all: "the only way this weapon works is by using the cast". i.e. the weapon is not the primary source of damage. What is it good for then?
This weapon is so bad you have to use the generic attack all the other weapons have to it be viable
