You’ve yet to give us a good reason to go with the overpriced unit you are sponsored by. You’ve basically told us, spend the $100 for split loom, clamps, a longer muffler and the amazon unit is bulletproof. Thanks for heads up.
@@donmunro144 I'll just figure mores better, in case you'd ever need it. And then the second reason would be that an 8K unit can run at medium and last a lot longer than a 4K unit running Max. I don't know if my logic makes any sense but that's what I was thinking.
@goldeneagle9761 you logic does make sense. But in my opinion, the added expense is unnecessary. As for longevity, my airtronic units out last the truck.
@goldeneagle9761 I don't know if you'd notice the difference in fuel consumption between the 2. But I'm sure there's a cost difference.I believe that it would be over kill. In fact, the 8k might not run long enough to keep the burner clean. Which would raise maintenance costs and reduce dependability.

Is the 2k enough for semi truck in extreme cold?? It saves fuel & energy, please help me decide
4KW might be a better choice for you! They are very efficient, don’t use too much fuel.
With my life on the line I stick with espar
How much to have either one installed
We only carry the good one, it is $1,500 installed at our location.
Coolant heaters sound interesting.
Agree and they have them on Amazon

Do you have to have an APU to use these?
No,
Why would you need an 8k? I have a 2k in my Pete. At -40F, it'll keep the cab at 70.

@@donmunro144 what's the added expense? The price difference in 4k vs 8k? Or fuel consumption?

5kw would run me out the truck at low. Dam
Why not a 8k unit?
It is designed for trucks and vans, 8K is an overkill. 2K and 4K are enough for the small bunk space.

" like you're in Irak "😅😂😂you don't have to go that far away " like you're in Phoenix on July 4th at 400 pm with your Windows close😅
It is based on Ryan’s real personal experience! He was in Iraq when he was in the military
Go buy a Mr Buddy and a 5lb tank and your set. No screws, Drilling, Use of fuel, And save yourself a ton of money.

You’ll definitely stay warm while your truck is on fire
