Hey Mr T, this video is 2 years old today (Dec 2024) and I need a backup camera and this looks awesome. But it is now 2 years of you using it. So the $64,000 Question for you is: Is this thing still working great? Would you buy it again? and would you recommend it to me after 2 years of using this? Thank you so much!

I bought this unit but don't want to have the cable running to my cigarette lighter inside the cabin of my 2003 mercedes 240C. is there a way of wiring it to a switched fuse to power the unit only when the car is running? I already tried cuting the lighter adapter off and runing it to a fuse block inside the car but all the fuses had constant power and the

You can put it on a toggle switch I would guess. That should work

thought about that but was hoping for a cleaner install...i'm thinking now that I have to run a wire through the firewall into the engine fuse panel and tap off the cigarette lighter fuse but that's a bit of work...

Great video! Any insights on how safe this device is in hot summers ? I'm a bit concerned about the lithium ion battery catching fire in extreme temperatures ?

Thinking about ordering one since I purchased a new travel trailer. I noticed in the demo your screen was cutting out and there was severe lag. Is that the case with these cameras?

No it works good. But I did another video on another camera that you might want to check out for the RV. I’ll find it and leave you a link.
