Yes, I have been a bit shocked at the bits of warm colors so far, but I’m happy to see wood accents and plants in your home.

I wanted to put a butcher block on top of my washer dryer too but i was scared of putting the weight on top of the appliances. Is it just resting on top of them or is it secured to the wall? Beautiful! :)

A folding area is a must! I use a storage container lid over my laundry basket 🤣 But it works and is needed!
What was the solution for the washer hose hook ups?
Looks like they just covered those, which means it will be very difficult to turn off the water or replace the hoses. Not a design solution I would've chosen, although they possibly can pull out the washer to access the hoses. I always turn off my faucets when going on vacation, that won't be an option in this laundry room without a lot of work. I'm old and have lived with many laundry rooms, someone without experience wouldn't think of these design points.

How did you hide or customize the hook ups for the washer and dryer? All looks great, but I've got the same issue and don't understand how you hid it or changed it. My washer tends to walk despite being level so I can't do an over counter. Thanks in advance.
We hid the hooks up with the cabinet! They just go directly in front of it. The folding board has a notch out in it so they can access it for servicing. Thats why we worked with Inspired Closets because they always come up with solutions that make it so you can actually use your machines / access them in case they need to be fixed.

Love the new laundry room 😍 I am curious about your washer and dryer? What brand and model did you purchased? I am looking to purchase a washer and dryer but there are so many options to choose from 😩
I can't count the number of laundry rooms I've designed and renovated in buying 8 houses. Your designer did a good job, BUT, when you replace your washer and dryer you'll be confined to a front loader of a certain height. You may not live in this house for more than 10 years (average age these days for needing to replace laundry appliances), but let's hope dimensions of washers and dryers don't increase AT ALL I hope you end up liking the wood folding space (which is mighty thin front to back). I guess Mr. Docy can do the sanding and oiling himself, since he got his choice.
