- Extreme DIY laundry room makeover on a budget! We are changing the layout in the new house, adding an accent wall of vertical shiplap and more. I keep laundry pretty simple and don't use a lot of products so keeping my decor simple works for me but I know many have to have the room function as much more and I have been there. I will be adding a lots of storage on the opposite wall for soon to hold extra cleaner and function as a mudroom space as well.

I'm redoing our laundry room for my birthday in May and I'm def using a floating shelf. I love it because you don't see those brackets holding the shelf up. Awesome!!

Vertical shiplap is just paneling. Cheaper and easier to hang. I think you are wonder woman. Strong, talented, and inspirational.

Emily, I loved how your Laundry Room turned out. When we moved into our house 3 years ago we had a Laundry Room with an entrance to the garage. We decided to up it's convenience factor and hung a 3 peg coat rack to the wall behind the garage door. It's as close as we can get to a mudroom and has been a lot more convenient for us.
Again, I can't say enough about how great yours turned out. 😊
