- so I made a game based on cursed mobile game ads.
After I turned fake mobile game ad into a real game in my last video, I decided to attempt remaking weird game from cursed mobile game ads. I use Unreal Engine 4 in my projects and maybe will try to do something with Unreal Engine 5 later...

in the ad there will be some vietnam edits and air vombardemnts with huge army engagements and cia officers talking to you and it would end with a video of Reagan promoting you to lvl 100 Boss

i always wondered why they create an ad thats so different from the game. i like the ad way more than the actual game. i love the video, the game turned out great!
This is common strategy of fake advertising. Illegal, but they usually don't care. They want to get you on the hook, and then they just hope you don't quit their game.

@@multiarray2320 Because it would take a lot of time and money to develop what they are showing. Like for this whole game Dino had to design only one level then it took him a lot of time. In the same way even if there would be a huge team, it's still no guarantee that it will work. Making fake engaging ads are much easier compared to this.
@@multiarray2320 They create these adds to probe what converts on a market. They can then focus on the ones that actually have click through.
@@apurv5847 Let's be honest here, most of what they're showing wouldn't take much time or money either. Nor would it make for a particularly enjoyable game.

It's so bizarre that they (the guys making the ads) took Sam FIsher's model from Splinter Cell Double Agent and Ubisoft literally didn't do anything about it
There was another mobile game ad too where Dr disrespect was playing their game by picking up the facecam from his stream & then putting in on their gameplay (lmfao) but it was immediately shut down as Dr disrespect fans don't play around lol.
It’s because false advertising doesn’t apply to free products. All in game revenue comes from the game itself, not from the ad. Plus it’s usually handled overseas, which are harder to regulate, and by shady companies that push out loads of crappy games under different guises.
Perhaps the game is from Ubisoft under a subsidiary...

False advertising is entirely allowed in mobile games for some bizarre reason.
IIRC someone said the reason why it is "legal" is because the said products are free

Not really the same type of game, but Detroit: Become Human is a great choice for branching stories.
@gamingnationshm Well Detroit become human is a laughing meme by itself when it first came out with all the glitches and quirks 🤣🤣
However the choices do matter a little in that game, If only I could afford a console to play it 😅
What i always got from tgese ads is the rapid progression based on those choices. Change in appearance, more equipment ect... and the overly simply visuals and mechanics where u press a button and it basically does the animations and movement for you sort of works in its favour.
I dont feel like your game accurately represented whats in the ads. But it still looked interesting enough that id give it a go

This game would have turned out like Detroit:Become Human if the devs of this game made an actual great storyline to each characters and made a lot of efforts, and can add more stories on each update they do and monetize some aspects to make it not just a decision-story driven game, but sims-like game where you can have/design your own house and your own empire where you can generate passive income base from your business fronts and other jobs. at first you'll generate no income and your job is to maintain order in your boss' territory and you have the choice whether you keep working for him and generate passive income, but less or become your own boss.
That sounds fun.

I could see this becoming a full game! This could be like the GTA V prologue and after this first mission you switch to another character and find the old washed up boss you played as originally.

Also that cyberpunk dig had me rolling. So many people look at the improvements they've made since launch as if it makes up for straight up lying about it being an RPG.

This is awesome. One note, though, in the ads, it looks like money gives you levels, and levels change your appearance.
Fantastic video btw. I love the fact that the very first choice you allow is to just shoot the boss. I cannot say that I enjoyed watching those adds come to life, but I certainly would like to see a game you would come up with.

How about the higher the level the higher the respact and other NPCs give him well except boss or after the boss is dead and u can ho back in time after u get a certain Easter egg or some large amount or money but the storry will goo where ever it goes randomly but makr the character stick to the story line( as he would have to increase his levels)he could also have a partner he can mark any npc as partner 1 or two they can betray him though
