As someone who used to work in a location that sold gift cards/gaming points/phone cards/your-whatever prepay needs, if someone was trying to buy a lot of them at once, I'd launch into a "personal story of a friend" that lines up with how the scam works. Telling them to not do that outright didn't work. Telling them about a person falling victim and losing hundreds/millions in a year to the same scam (or whatever time frame I went with, shook it up to not bore myself to death) gave at least half of them pause. They're pre-loaded with "keep this secret!" so they're focused on doing that. Inserting an anecdote (the more personal sounding, the better) isn't a part of the scammer's insistences, so they tone it out less readily. Suddenly, realizing that your great aunt getting ripped off by someone pretending to be paypal sounds familiar, they might start taking and get talked out of it. Or they're too far gone to be helped.
I worked at a gamestop a few years back and older disabled people would come in and try to buy steam gift cards like that. A few would listen to me when I'd tell them it's a scam and explained to them how it'd work. Some would tell me to mind my own business.
I recently got one from the Warren Buffet foundation offering me a lot of money, because Mr Warren Buffet wants to do something kind this time of year. Yeah, it was a Christmas scam that I received in August. I sent them a funny reply.
@@EmeraldEyesEsoteric Send them that special piece of nerd lore you're dying to talk about, but nobody else cares to listen to in your life next time you get something like that. It's very cathartic. (Also how bad at scamming do you have to be to not even send it out near December, lol.)
Back when I worked the midnight to dawn shift as a service/gas station console operate, here in Aust, I used to do the reports for the store during my shift to help the manager out, which included the page that would say how much was being sold in such gift cards. Well, one night I noticed the report saying that over $1000 worth of such cards during the evening shift on one transaction. This immediately rang alarm bells because we hardly ever sold that much, so checked their sales on that shift and found it was paid in cash and on checking the cameras, it was some elderly gentleman, in his 60s maybe 70s. Well, the next night when I came in I queried the worker that was on about it and he said the elderly gentleman was buying them for a friend who claimed they needed the money fast. I asked if he informed them it was a possible scam, since notices had been put out about such. Nope, the worker didnt tell them ask them a single question or anything relating to it, just sold them and that was that. I told the manager when I saw him the next morning and he just shook his head, two days later an email was sent out regarding the sale of such that anything over $50 would require a manager's code, which meant once the manager was gone for the day, such cards couldnt be sold. My position with helping doing the store reports gave me access to the code, and I had manager/area manager discretion to use such. However I would constantly get abused by people when I refused to sell anything over $50. Did get a few elderly people come in to buy high amounts, most of which realized after I queried them over it they were about to be scammed out of all that money. Many of course just went off down to the local all night supermarket some 5 minutes drive down the road, but I knew the workers there that worked that time of the night and none of them would sell any without first making the same inquries.
The last place I worked trained us to not go through with the transaction if they are buying a suspicious amount of gift cards. We were literally meant to politely decline to complete the sale if we suspected something was off. On another note, my mom works at a bank as a teller and has to constantly work on scam cases as well. There are some times when they are surprisingly successful in getting people their money back but she's also had to deal with people who don't listen or where it's too late to get their money back.
My workplace does that too. We also have had to do training on not just giving out money or gift cards to people who come in and claim to need it to refill a till or are a loss-prevention investigator or something from another location. My store has never fallen victim to these scams, but stores close enough to us have that it's come up in staff meetings.
The closest I ever got to getting scammed was a job phishing scam. It failed because I was too stupid to follow their instructions and had a brain fart long enough to realize that what they were telling me to do didn't make sense, at which point the red flags started going up.
I got got by one of the goddamn gift card ones 😭 I was so mad at myself. (We were having register issues, they pretended to be someone from the company helping to fix the registers and the "fixing" involved activating a gift card and sending them the details to "test" it. Shit got me fired, I'm still mad at myself for not getting it sooner, called my District Manager while *still* on the phone with them cus I was getting sketched out and she clocked that mf as a scammer in less than a minute TwT. They really do prey on emotions first, basically bullied nme into just accepting him as an authority, and being a 19 year old terrified of losing my job, I complied. (Which did not work out >_>)
surprisingly ive never actually been scammed(atleast for things that have real life value), the absolute closest i had ever gotten was some idiot tried to do a phishing scam, it was for an account of mine where you click the fake link and enter your details, the only issue and the main reason i couldnt have lost anything from it was due to the fact i entered a password i hadnt even used for over 3 years at that time and none of my accounts at that time used it either... we proceeded to both argue on who was stupider, he insisted that he was going to "hack me" while i was just absolutely confused to what had just happened... he proceeded to give up after entering the wrong password over and over again. this is what happens when a stupid person tries to scam a stupid person.
@@lulolie It didn't get me fired, but my old boss chewed me out once because a guy tried paying for his items with a clearly fake $100 bill and I gave it back to him rather than confiscate it for the police. I was just a teen, I thought it was enough that I didn't fall for the fake but apparently I still screwed it up. 😖
The $100 on the windshield can also be used to steal your car. The person will place it there hoping you won't notice it until you start your car, then you get out while the car is running to grab it and they will hope in the driver's seat and take your car
Just in case you didn't know; putting a printed out bill on a windscreen and then when you unfold it you see a bible verse on the other side and telling you that if you send money to this church you will get it back tenfold. Which still makes it a scam, ofc. Also, why would *anyone* not take the keys to their car with them when they get out of it? I live in a safe area, where I can literally leave the car running in my driveway for 10 mins without anyone ever doing anything. But even *I* take the keys out of my car as soon as I step out if I'm not at home.
@@Sylfa My mom leaves the car keys in the car at all times because her side of the family, including me and little sister, have horrible memory. It drives my dad insane (exaggeration).
The story with the lady trading gift cards for puppies... she's the reason the saying "you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink" exists. Sad.
I think to fall for a scam one would likely feel foolish, but to fall for a scam in which several people tried to strongly warn you is indeed a scam you'd feel like the biggest idiot on earth.
One of the other reasons not to do a "professional" hookup; someone you don't know from Adam has your address and may have the actual intent of caving in your head and stealing all your stuff. If they want money beforehand, block them and move on.
Speaking of scams, I've gotten a lot of bots on discord randomly messaging me and asking if I need any art commissioned. Recently it changed to "marketing needs." Those seem to be pretty common. Always be wary of people contacting you out of the blue.
Fell For one of those once too, got 'em alot. They do send you Art, but i believe it's AI-generated. It's great at replicating Styles, admittedly. Just Always relativly overpriced.
I followed an account on Instagram that makes car animations and after 1 minute there were like 5 different fake accounts following and messaging me. they all use the same profile pic and posted the same things as the original page. it's extremely disgusting seeing this.
I recently got one from the Warren Buffet foundation offering me a lot of money, because Mr Buffet wants to do something kind this time of year. Yeah, it was a Christmas scam that I received in August. I sent them a funny reply.
Kitboga is a legend, especially when he brings it Vivian. (i think his old lady character name is Vivian). Oh, Pierogi is up there at the top the list with Kitboga 😊
Got the "I tracked my stolen IPhone to this address" scam last week. There are 3 units on this property, a duplex and a converted garage. They actually tried to convince all three of us, individually, to let them in to "prove" the phone wasn't here. Kept threatening to call the cops if we didn't. I offered to call the police for them, never saw four people leave so fast on foot before. My neighbor, in the other half of the duplex, and I, look out for each other and they already had 911 on the phone. How they thought they could pull off the scam on the three of us, on the same day and screaming ls truly plumbing the depths of stupidity.
A lot of more major retailers set hard limits on giftcards, $500 a day per customer usually, for both protection of the customer and to prevent credit card fraud. Even if it's in cash, the pos system will straight up not let you proceed to payment with those on the bill.
When I was younger, my dad left me alone with his phone (he went into a gas station) and a healthcare scam caller called. They asked “do you have healthcare,” and little me was a dumbass and said “Sir, I don’t know, I’m 12,” he responded “Do you have healthcare,” then I heard people laughing. I relied again, saying “I am 10+2, I do not know,” and the dude gave up and said “just say yes to the question,” in a voice suggesting he was laughing. I hung up when my dad came out of the gas station.
The DOD Security Questions scam got me in the feels. Many years ago, I was in the USN and ended up working for the NSA. I had to go through the rigmarole to get a Top Secret clearance. They did, indeed, contact people I knew about me. THAT is not how it's done! 😖
Regarding 1:58 - I work as an Escort/SW in Central/Northern Europe to finance my studies and I can promise you, the industry standard is to send you a price list (depending on the SW, prices change according to time or services provided) prior to EVEN DECIDING TO MEET. Also, never meet someone claiming to be an SW, unless you're contacting them from a SW/Escort-specific website - most websites require some type of verification from the SW (ID-card, bank account,...). Moreover, request some type of verification - for example a video or voice call plus verification pictures through an instant picture service. Lastly, NEVER pay before you receive the services. How it usually goes is that you agree on a price for a certain time/certain services beforehand and when you're meeting, before receiving the services you SHOW (NOT PAY) that you have the money to the SW. Payment should ONLY be given once you received the services agreed on. I'm sorry you got scammed tho, that's incredibly terrible :( All the best, Your local SW
I understand if you don't want to answer questions, but I have some questions on the logistics, would you be willing to tell me some answers? Ie, what do you do if folks are unwilling to pay? How do you prove the place will be safe? How can you guarantee a client is clean and not underage?
Sadly, people are susceptible to scams. Not every scam, but then the one that seems to just perfectly fit the target and they fall for it. Take the puppy one, even if they hear it's probably a scam they've already fallen in love with the puppy so they just want it to be real.
I just don't understand. You're buying something 1. Without ever seeing the product in person. Fine when buying off a reputable online store, but from a random person? 2. You're being asked to send the money BEFORE you get the product that they will supposedly be bringing to you That right there should be plenty for anyone to call BS. Then add on the giftcards. Which, think about it, why would someone who you are going to shortly see in person want you to remotely send them a gift card instead of just handing them cash?
These gift cards ones are so weird. When I worked at Kmart we were literally not allowed to sell more than $500 in gift cards to the same customer on the same day. They had to fill out an identification card for anything over $400 and their info was put into the computer so that they couldn't just go to another Kmart and do it. We were told it was to prevent money laundering. Lots of old ladies would be mad about it in November and December, trying to buy gift cards for their grandkids.
Not sure why anyone want to buy giftcards to give as a present when you can get them at any ATM. They are even useful *anywhere* Side note, found a ten year old birthday card from my grandma after a move, opened it and realised it still had money in it. And you know what? It was still valid! 😁
The puppy scam one just reminded me of the person that complained on tiktok about being asked by a bank teller here in Australia on why they were withdrawing money, which was over $2000, or something like that. That is why people, they ask it because people are being scammed, it's part of their job. This guy went to a few banks and did the same thing with them, which means honestly that guy had waaay too much time on his hands to be creating a mountain out of molehill because people are just doing their job. On another note, if a puppy seller is asking for gift cards and are actually legitimately selling puppies in such a fashion. They are doing it to dodge the tax man by not declaring that little bit of earnings they are making on the side. On top of that, they are likely scamming the likes of the DSS by claiming welfare benefits at the same time. 15:20 - Quickest way to tell if that is a scam, just reverse search the image because you can bet there are a few hundred links that will come up.
As soon as one scam mentioned "muse," I recognized exactly what they were trying. They claim to be an artist and they want photos of the victim so they can "make art" and "sell it to a buyer." For being the muse, they say that you'll get a cut. After this, it's just a typical money mule scam. It was attempted on me through Discord.
i fell victem to a steam scam where someone claiming to be a steam moderator who hijacked my steam account and refused to give it back until i bought a steam giftcard, as soon as the giftcards were mentioned i realised what was happening, i reported the incident to ACTUAL steam moderators and got my account back before i lost any money
Genuine question: is the feeling of desire expressed at 0:36 actually a widespread thing? Non-ace folk, please, inform me. That aside, time to play the game of Spot the Red Flags with Jack to see if I'm still good at sniffing out scams!
in some people. it just depends on individual libido-someone with a lower sex drive probably won’t experience this often if at all, but people with higher sex drives probably do experience it fairly regularly
Wow... So people can't just like... Turn it off at will? Because it's just so irritating to me to be hormonally available with no recourse that I basically treat it like an inconvenience until it's no longer an issue rather than trying desperately to find a way to release it. _Am I the weird one?_
27:22 So I work at Walgreens as a shift lead. A couple weeks ago my coworker paged me about a transaction that she didn't feel comfortable ringing. So I went over and it's an older man buying Visa cards. So I come and start ringing him up and ask about the gift cards (he is buying $750 worth of gift cards) and he says it's for his wife's friends daughters. So I ask how old they are and he wasn't prepared for that question so he just says 4 and half years old. I declined to sell him any gift cards and warned the other location a couple miles away about him as well.
I've gotten a few texts like that recruitment text. Thankfully I've never accepted any offers cause it just felt way too sketchy. Glad to know I was doing the right thing in refusing. They do seem incredibly legit, a guy even sent me proof that he was who he said he was, but I still couldn't let myself go through with it.
I've had some of those recruitment texts claiming to be Amazon, usually paying outrageous amounts of money, as in, C-suite money for entry level jobs. The funniest one was someone who couldn't even be bothered to copy and paste text correctly, and ended pasting a phone number instead of the salary figure, so the job offered millions of dollars for an entry level job.
The scam where they claim to be a special agent is great. All the recipient has to do is contact the appropriate agency and hand over the note. There's literally a number there. They can track down the person that has the phone number since it's a federal crime to claim to be a federal agent. It's not like it's high up their list, but on the other hand it's in their interest to stop attempts to discredit their agency as well.
A man tried the Dubai scam on me. I was leaving target, when an SUV rolled up next to me. Gave me the same story. But the thing is we were in California, why are you going to Florida without money, didn't give the man money. After he left me he went to another person that was walking to their car.
I am amazed at these fools paying for a only fans. Talk about ripping you off, you dont get to meet her, spend any time with her alone (remember there is a bunch of other fools doing exactly what you are doing at the exact same time) or even know her name.
There was a similar incident in my neighbourhood with the "find my iPhone scam" but a little more elaborate and violent. Simply put they got someone younger like a 12-15 Yr old (I am not kidding this was recorded on ring and shared on a neighbourhood group chat) and essentially its the same thing and was normaly done at night but when they open the door some guys who have bats rush in and loot the house even w/ people inside. The video I saw had the kid talking to the ring camera but occasionally would look at one of the other guys through a phone to ask what to say and can be obvious if the kid loudly whispers "WHAT DO I SAY NEXT?"
Someone tried to scam my dad by pretending to be my sister texting through a new number. Her car had broken down and she needed money to get it fixed. Only problem is, she died of cancer just a few months earlier.
I was writing with a gift card scammer a few months ago. It was fun. He wouldn't understand I couldn't buy Walmart gift cards because there is no Walmart in my country. We had a long discussion about this...
About cashing out, even if you can cash out it doesn't mean you actually "got" the money. I think this wasn't OP's case but lots of scammers will send you money (via check or otherwise) allow you to cash out, revert the payment or cancel the check or the check didn't have funds to begin with. You now lost whatever you sent the scanner AND owe the bank the money you got. I didn't know you could somehow revert/cancel a payment after the person cashed out but I fell for it so trust me It happens
I can't help but feel sorry for the folks that actually fall for scams. But at the same time, I can't help but laugh internally while shaking my head in disappointment. Especially the whole "Pay me in gift cards" shtick. Like, if I was getting all those gift cards I'd just use them for myself and maybe a few friends.
@@Bomby5I like getting gift cards because I always feel guilty when I spend money on myself. You hand me cash, it's going to groceries or bills. You give me a gift card to a bookstore... You are the most bestest human to ever walk the Earth.
2:30 been there "what the fu-". Similar thing happened 2 years back. Pretty much the same course of events except the person was a middle aged Mexican dude (probably, all I had to go off of was their voice) named Berry pretending to be some woman by the name of "Jessica mandez".
Lol. The way I'm such a sick bastard that id be like: "cool. Please kill my family. Hell, I'll pay you to kill them. They were horrible, abusive, nasty people anyway and I'd be so much better off without them." Bet a scammer would have no clue what to do with that
Could take it even further by saying "They say that if you kill a killer, the number of killers in the world stays the same, but if you do that, you'd cut that number down by like 5."
my nanna got the “hey mum my phone is broken and i need some money blah blah blah” scam last week. thankfully she called me to tell my mum and verify and we’d never ask for money over text like that anyways. the worst that’d happen is she’d just put it across into my mum bank account that she already has and then when my mum checked she’d call to ask why and then it’d be returned, but i know a lot of older people would fall for it unfortunately.
10:24 it's not like a scam or anyting I don't think but I'm glad you didn't take it because sometimes people will use that so that they can break into your car or something when you're not paying attention or at least I've been told
I once scammed my own school: We had a film festival on campus at my high school, and some middle school students were there aswell. While I am in high school, I look very young, baby face, short, higher pitch voice, etc. Turns out my school is giving out free popcorn exclusively to the middle schoolers, so my friends give me a look, and I agreed to go down and get some popcorn if they gave me a bit of money, I was successful in getting 5 bags of free popcorn for my friends, the people behind the counter even warned me of the bell times which was just hilarious to me. Since I'm still in that school, I hope I can run into those people so they can see they got scammed. I also managed to use my young looks to keep getting free cookies at a store even though I was past the age that they would give them out. The moral of the story is: If you're good at something, never do it for free.
The store I work at has a strict policy about gift cards purchased with a debit/credit card. Customers who want to purchase 3+ gift cards (doesn't matter what kind) have to show ID and the card they're paying with. We banned a black woman (race is relevant, but for the sensitive readers, I'm multi-racial but appear African American) who repeatedly tried to buy several different gift cards with presumably stolen debit/credit cards. She always caught an immediate attitude whenever a manager was watching, accusing them of profiling her and suspicious for no reason. Once a manager rang her up (the cashier was on break) and the she showed her real ID and credit card with her name. Then she swapped the card for another one in her wallet. She blew her top when the manager asked her to show THAT card with her ID. He told her it's policy and we have to verify identity. Yada Yada, cops were called, she ran off empty handed. If she's caught on the property again, she'll immediately arrested. We have secret shoppers (police) in the store almost daily, so anyone who tries that crap is getting taken down on sight.
i literally had a scam call today through my work phone redirecting to my mobile which i just set up a week ago, called me 3 times 2h apart but only actually responded to me saying hello on 3rd time after i said i was from *** company, said something about emails, notices and warning being sent about internet and asking me to check router for lights then when i said about it being IT's job he started askin me if i was at my pc and when i tried to redirect him to someone else who would be involved he just insisted about asking if i was at my pc and can i see the ctrl, alt and some other button so just said they need to contact 'person' and to have a good day and they just went 'no, no, no, sir, sir, sir, sir' really fast, accent sounded like what u typically hear in those videos about scam callers
My ex was pulled into one of those government grant scams. Kept telling her it was a scam. She got blinded thinking she was going to get a lump sum. Yeah, that didn’t happen. Rent and bills were becoming a struggle for just myself to pay while she went deeper into being scammed. We broke up. This was 4 years ago. She still falls for the scams. It’s mind blowing really.

Not sure if this story is part of the video. But one of those scam hunters on RUclips literally stopped an old lady from getting ripped off by calling the place the scammer was directing her to (He had tapped into the scammers phone so he could hear everything the scammer told the old lady). The old lady was confused and didnt know about half the things the scammer was telling her to buy, and eventually a store employee came over and asked the old lady if she was okay (With the scammer still on the phone screaming at the old lady not to talk to the employee). The old lady broke down in tears and told what was happening to the employee that, then took care of the rest. It was touch and go for a moment, because the employee that picked up the phone didnt seem like they believed the scam hunter when he told her that an old lady was getting scammed into buying apple gift cards.

Ha I'd you had the time and energy you could play with the scanner at 9:22. "You'll wipe out me and my family if I don't give you 5 thousand in gift cards? I know you said you were watching but I doubt that. You see I'm an orphan and I'm not married or have kids yet. I'm also kinda of a loaner so no close friends. But you know I promise to pay you that 5 thousand in gift cards as soon as you reunite me with my birth family. Then you can tell me who wants to take us all out." Then sit back and wait for their flustered response and excuses. They may try and say that you are still in danger. But you just remind them that no they said my family. I want to meet them before you kill us. I mean I doubt I could come up with 5 thousand to give you these gift cards but at least I'll be reunited with my family. There's probably a thousand different ways you could say something like that to piss them off more. Make them work for their not getting gift cards I have gotten emails from geek squad saying that my renewal is coming up soon and it'll be $400. It freaked me out as it used my real name. I use a different name online. Which is kinda funny because my mother once told me she hated the name Madison. I never told her that it was the name I used online. Anyway, despite my freak out I haven't clicked anything in the email. They kept saying it was automatic renewal and I ignore it. They never sent one after the second time with a different due date than the previous one.
11:30 yup at that point I’d let her get scammed, that’s what you get when you want to buy babies of fellow mothers who are incessantly torturously raped then dumped at high kill shelters, from a breeder, as if they’re objects to buy/sell & own and/or slaves! I’d want to help her realise all that but more likely this will teach her more so I’d at least try. But F that woman.
I was almost scammed. A woman texted me saying she wanted to have a relationship. I got to know her. I went to Starbucks to meet her, but she didn’t show up. When I got home, she texted me saying she got a flat tire or something like that and she needed money. 😡
I "won" a choice of a ps5 or an iPhone on a RUclips channel I frequently watch, from someone posing as the channel host. I was told to contact them through Telegram. The guy wanted almost $200 for shipping from the UK to the US. No, I didn't send it. If it sounds too good to be true, it is.
so that ring in the that picture, that is a class ring, probably high school, with the gem ripped out of the top and probably just has a thin gold leaf over it.
I don't even trust my FAMILY to not scam me (not because of family issues), i am very cautious and wouldn't even trust my family not to scam me so with any number that i don't know or a text from someone i don't recognize i ask them who they are, how old, and where i know them from, if i don't remember them or they give a false place i will immediately report them, block, delete number. And even if they do say the correct things i will still not trust them until i can make sure it is them irl. Aka i NEVER open any links unless i KNOW for sure who it is and that this IS them
There needs to be an elevator-pitch more convincing-and-brief than scammers' lines; succinct comprehensive and alarming: for instance, "Scammers can't keep money if a bank withholds the funds, unless you send them gift-cards, which takes-away every advantage from you; these gift-cards skin-you of ever safeguards you have the advantage of", then have a manager speak to them.
Sometimes i think about getting gift cards for Christmas gifts. Then i think about this and dont want to have to explain that its not me being scammed, its that me and my friends are all kinda lame and just want games for Christmas. . .

Many of course just went off down to the local all night supermarket some 5 minutes drive down the road, but I knew the workers there that worked that time of the night and none of them would sell any without first making the same inquries.
gaw damn this mf is in the comments of every emkay video
Yeah almost got scammed that way glad someone caught on before anything bad happened
The person will place it there hoping you won't notice it until you start your car, then you get out while the car is running to grab it and they will hope in the driver's seat and take your car
ding ding ding, that was probably it.

Good thing you called them. The scam in question involves robbing that house

I'm sorry you got scammed tho, that's incredibly terrible :(

Question. What do you do if a client has a smelly p**sy or d*ck?
I understand if you don't want to answer questions, but I have some questions on the logistics, would you be willing to tell me some answers? Ie, what do you do if folks are unwilling to pay? How do you prove the place will be safe? How can you guarantee a client is clean and not underage?

I don't agree with the average scammer, who's usually just some underpaid idiot, but the ones running the scam? Fair enough.
If its In America, the current "government " are criminals
The woman and the puppies scam is exactly why scammers keep trying.
Sadly, people are susceptible to scams. Not every scam, but then the one that seems to just perfectly fit the target and they fall for it. Take the puppy one, even if they hear it's probably a scam they've already fallen in love with the puppy so they just want it to be real.
I just don't understand. You're buying something
1. Without ever seeing the product in person. Fine when buying off a reputable online store, but from a random person?
2. You're being asked to send the money BEFORE you get the product that they will supposedly be bringing to you
That right there should be plenty for anyone to call BS. Then add on the giftcards. Which, think about it, why would someone who you are going to shortly see in person want you to remotely send them a gift card instead of just handing them cash?
9:25 that threat doesn’t work if you have depression, finally a good thing depression can do
Like thanks, now i don’t have to take own self out 🥲 😂
These gift cards ones are so weird.
They are even useful *anywhere*
Side note, found a ten year old birthday card from my grandma after a move, opened it and realised it still had money in it.

So I work at Walgreens as a shift lead.

4:12 not sure what drove them to put in 15,000 if they only got 700 back from the first time (they still lost 800).
yet another great emkay vid
I was almost scammed. A woman texted me saying she wanted to have a relationship. I got to know her. I went to Starbucks to meet her, but she didn’t show up. When I got home, she texted me saying she got a flat tire or something like that and she needed money. 😡
I "won" a choice of a ps5 or an iPhone on a RUclips channel I frequently watch, from someone posing as the channel host. I was told to contact them through Telegram. The guy wanted almost $200 for shipping from the UK to the US. No, I didn't send it. If it sounds too good to be true, it is.
The second guy has found his fair share of escorts

so that ring in the that picture, that is a class ring, probably high school, with the gem ripped out of the top and probably just has a thin gold leaf over it.
Aka i NEVER open any links unless i KNOW for sure who it is and that this IS them
Hey wait, when'd we fall into trivia murder party lol, that voice seems spot on
There needs to be an elevator-pitch more convincing-and-brief than scammers' lines; succinct comprehensive and alarming: for instance, "Scammers can't keep money if a bank withholds the funds, unless you send them gift-cards, which takes-away every advantage from you; these gift-cards skin-you of ever safeguards you have the advantage of", then have a manager speak to them.
An r/scams video not narrated by Robin?

Sometimes i think about getting gift cards for Christmas gifts. Then i think about this and dont want to have to explain that its not me being scammed, its that me and my friends are all kinda lame and just want games for Christmas. . .
I got scammed by friends
