But you have to have coins to use it! Used it before and didn’t like that at all. To be able to get coins you have to watch free videos,etc. not my cup of tea.
Dingtone is the same way. The only calling and text service you don't have to do all that with is textnow. Plus if you live in the US you just buy a sim card and you can use textnow wherever without wifi or data

For finding this great app i need an app that i can have a phone number and i gave it to friends and family i have no mobile data works great for now on my Android phone.the only thing i dont like is that you have to get credit for this? Wiman app for Android and Google Datally. WiFi maps just show you the areas that have wifi available. But wiman and Google Datally apps will auto connect you to the open and free WiFi!

Most of those apps that says "free internet" are not free!. You'd have to already be connected to a server, an internet provider or the app will say "no internet connection," and the app won't do sh*t.

Hi. Thanks for you commenting and having concerns. If this is your only calling and texting app or service over WiFi? Yes. You'll use up minutes fast. But you can always earn credits for free or just try another call and texting app that provides unlimited calls

Well for one. It shouldn't never ask you for credit card information unless you don't have your Google Play Store account fully setup. I was able to download the app right from the Play Store and Google nor TextMe prompt me for credit card info. And the other person won't need the app to get calls nor make. And I'm not sure on that last question you asked. So no answer

I have this app, but I did not know I could get free internet.
It was hidden in the settings menu
The settings tab in the app. You should see three lines. You tap on that and scroll to the bottom of the page

Wait wait do we have to use our own WiFi at home for this app or it provides WiFi
Your device finds open WiFi for you when you turn on WiFi settings and set it up to Auto connect. It truly depends on your phones software. The apps are not WiFi. The app just helps connect you to the WiFi that is open. If the WiFi network isn't open or had a passcode you need to enter in to access that WiFi spot. Your phone need to have WiFi on at all times. Otherwise you won't connect.

@@markrobin04 you can use any wifi anywhere that you're able to log into - in other words any where that lets you use their wifi free like most fast food places, doctor office, hospitals etc. I have TextNow and just used it this afternoon at the local hospital to let my friend know I was done with my appointment to come pick me up. I have no active phone service. Only used textnow over the hospitals wifi and it worked just like if I had phone service. and I've used it at home to call my other number that has service but waiting on a new phone because the phone broke, so any time someone calls it goes straight to voicemail so i've been using textnow to check my VM on that phone

It helps you to Auto connect to free open WiFi. You have to be near WiFi for it to connect.
This app might work for you on your phone but it 100% does it work on my tablet doesn't let me text I can make phone calls but I'd rather text and they want you to download it will pay money to talk so it's not 100% free if you're on a tablet
