I remember Mike Varney playing me a tape of Ritchie over the phone in the late 80's before Poison and all that, and I was blown away. Here's this young guy that was an insane guitarist, looked fantastic AND was a ridiculously great singer. Immediately knew he was in it for the long haul. All these years later he's not only still at it, he's killing it. So good!

If one didn't know what band this was, no-one would say this is a Poison jam. RK really turned them into musicians for a very short period of time.

Agree. He was smart to hook on to Posion because that made him pretty well known and I think that opened the doors for him to have a long career
