I've been playing for 38 years and Richie is even more of an influence now than when I first heard him 30 years ago. A spinal injury cost me a chance at a career in music since I have severe nerve damage on my right side and have almost no feeling in my fingers and toes. Since I can no longer hold a pick I've been training myself to play the way Richie does now and, as long as I can watch my hands to see where I am, I can jam pretty well. I've even done some studio/session work. Thanks for the continued inspiration to both him and Larry since I play mostly DiMarzio pickups as well. I dropped a DP169/DP210 set into my goldtop last year and it SINGS! ;-) Cheers from Florida.
I love them both. Ritchie is one of the most complete musicians today. Composing, playing, singing. He got it all. And Julia... no words! Love her style, perfect fit.
I love how Ritchie starts talking over Julia and she's just like "fuck that I'm gonna keep talking" while Ritchie keeps going as well. wtf was that lol.

Richie and Julia used to have a channel with hilarious videos. I believe you still can find some of them on the net. My favorite is the one where Julia played the character of a Brazilian journalist interviewing Richie. The “journalist” keeps speaking all the time, barely listening his answers. She asks about some of his songs using wrong titles. That was really funny. I wish they continue doing those videos. Humor is certainly part of their relationship, what is always great.
When 2 of them talk at the same time and finish at the same time, is actually impressive 😊

I just discovered this dude couple years ago WHERE HAVE I BEEN! Not one bad song he’s all I’ve listen to probably maybe last year, catching up on all the amazing music he puts out his amazing player!
To those of us who know Richie and his work, it’s no secret what a killer musician he is. Far beyond an amazing guitarist. Guy has an incredible voice and write. Just lost my father a few months ago. We loved sharing music with eachother. He always held trios in the highest regard because, as he would say, “there’s no hiding in a trio.” Going to see the winery dogs for the first time tomorrow and will be thinking of my pops. Missed out on the meet and greet but oh well.

RK is far and away one of the most talented musicians with us. Next to Paul M, John F, and The purple one, RK is one of the few that can be locked into a studio by himself, and emerge a few weeks later with a finished record. Amazing. Love this guy.
