The Warriors Dynasty Might Be Over.

  • The Golden State Warriors just lost in 5 to the Los Angeles Lakers and while I am very disappointed, I gotta give credit where credit is due and give props to Lebron James and Anthony Davis. They played their hearts out and good luck to them in the rest of the postseason. It is however sad to say that this may be the last time the trio is together and to be quite honest it is sad to see but at the same time there is somewhat hope that the Warriors can run it back. But if one thing’s for sure this dynasty might be over for good.

With Klay and Poole playing like that Steph would need to be hitting 65% from the field every game. Since that Kings series Steph much have known they were screwed. Steph greatest ever achievement was making Klay look like a top 75 all time contender and Draymond an elite DPOY candidate.

Although Looney was great this year, the Warriors were in deep trouble when Wiseman never did learn to play defense. No rim protection plus matador defense by Poole made a situation where Curry, who during most of the dynasty was the weakest perimeter defender on the team, actually became the most consistent defender on the squad. Hats off to Curry, whose d has improved greatly, but him being the best defender on the squad is nowhere near championship basketball. Had Wise panned out as a defender, the Warrior would have had a serous transition game where Klay, Curry, Kuminga and even Poole would have had many more playing opportunities. Klay worked hard, had a good stretch this year and passed well all year. He just couldn't make a shot playoff time, and with no defense on the team, he got very few rhythm looks to get him going from game to game. The fact that Poole was so inefficient in so many categories really hurt the team, and that ain't got much to do with getting punched. You can't be marginal defensive and the ball so often in a play like that's hands. And with Curry having to play so much defense, he was forced to play at a slower pace just to conserve energy. I still don't understand why Kerr didn't play Kuminga in the finals. I would have had him guard Mitchell and Austin Reeves too. And he plays well with Moody too, who, by the way needs to agree loudness! In summary, the Warriors got to make some tough decisions that summer....

I think the baddies is half of the problem. If he thought less about getting laid and pretty much tossing his money in the wind and trying to show off on the court he'd be better. His game has always been the same and he's never tried to evolve with the way he plays. He doing better scoring in the bedroom than he is on the court but atleast when he does play good he gets respect these women are just taking his money

The Warriors and Steve Kerr are only great when the 3 pointers go in. The decision-making has almost been the same from season to season. They have always been careless and loose, so over time, the shots have started to not go in. What adjustment can Kerr make when the whole culture is based on playing like that. If he was being honest, he knew that they were not going to do well this year, he just wouldnt say it publicly.

God bless you man. God bless you for this comments.
I was telling some dudes, the same way you saw the Warriors throw away this Games against the Lakers is the same way they did against the Cavs in 2016.
Once the shots stop falling, its over.
How can you build your entire identity on shooting the 3 ball? Steph is the only person that evolved from 2016 in that even if he shoots poorly he will still find a way to give you 20+. Klay is the same old guy he has always been, he has never improved. He can go hot and score alot and he can go stone cold and shoot bricks all night.
Where do they go from here? It's simply really. Klay is not a 2nd scoring option on a championship winning team. For me, he never really was. He never really had that consistency but he was great before the injury, now it has all but gone. If he accepts a 6th man role like iggy did it would be great for us.
Draymond's lack of offense is hurting us really bad. Yes he is a great playmaker and defender but the reality is defense is mostly a team effort, offense is more often than not individual. When you miss simple layups and put backs, it is sad to watch. But Draymond staying means we need a real center that can score and defend. Poeltl comes to mind.
We also need a wing, Poole needs to go not cos it's his fault but we need to clear cap space

We were better than 22 teams out of 30 this season. Of course the expectations as a Warriors is different. Everything that meant to happen did happened. As a 6th seed, not able to make the conference finals or finals is normal. Curry getting hurt twices on defense because that was our weakness throughout the season. Lakers were in a better rhythm than us, Game 1 should've been ours as both teams didn't know what to expect from the other team so each played to their strengths. Game 2 was obvious with good spacing from players and ball movement, we shot well. Some say Game 4 was where the momentum shifted, but I think it was Game 3. Shouldn't have lost by such a big margin, if we couldn't counter their adjustments, how are we suppose to win the series. 3-1 was planned out to be too much to overcome, especially against a Lebron team. 😊

Tbh it's more on Klay than JP to blame for this collapse. Klay can't buy a 3 most of the series. It feels like he's a true Lakers at heart cause he waited years just so he can shoot bricks against the Lakers. Unless his father threatened him and told him to do so.

What!? Dude you have no idea what you’re talking about. I saw the offense actually move like the warriors of past two times last night. Poole completely killed any motion in that offense and Steve Kerr continued to try and play Poole/Klay together. Klay coming off screens open with hands out while Poole pounds the fkn ball. This brought out “iso” Klay because he couldn’t get buckets any other way. Just crazy. Klay had a look of disgust. He knew it. They all tried to say the right thing with Poole but body language says it all.

Kerr was complete sht this year. Completely. Klay was affected by Poole. Go look up the stats of them playing together. Even in the examples from 5 minutes on look who is in the game with him. Jpoole. It’s not a coincidence. Poole happened to klay. Anyone saying that Klay can’t shoot or that he’s too old will be eating those words next year. Let’s not forget he had an Achilles and an acl tear as well. Y’all shittinn on Klay, and he did play bad at times but I guarantee Poole is part of that

Although the Lakers played better than the Warriors, the Warriors did not play well at all.
They had their chances, they missed alot of open shots that could have made a huge difference in two of the games they lost.
So i would not say the Lakers out played them, they simply were on a decline and you could see it all damn year.
