Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up.
I snuck up on Danni and Kari as I walked in to Goodwill! Join me as I comb the shelves looking for treasure. The store was busy but I made some great finds! Learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf and why. I found a British Blue Willow Pattern platter, a Hallcraft MCM teapot, a silver overlaid pedestal cake stand and a Paula Deen Kettle!!! Stay to see my haul where I show you what I found, what I paid and a range of value.... and watch Bandit the cat play......so, lets go thrifting!

This is my first time viewing your channel. I appreciate how respectful you are of everything. The way you touch and handle each item, and the words you use... lovely, gorgeous, fun, etc. ... shows respect. Thank you for taking that attitude when looking around Goodwill.
Welcome to my channel Nancy! Thank you for watching and thank you very much for your kind message!! 😊

Ok, only 12 minutes in, and I’m hooked. You, my dear, get a “thumbs up”👍🏻🙂
I wish Goodwill would stop placing prices over maker marks or putting tape over silver or gold items. It pulls the silver and gold off the piece. Another problems is putting delicate items in bags. They chip and break with people trying to view them. Also their prices are getting crazy for items that are donated to them.
I agree with everything you said in your comment. I loved the salvation army thrift store they closed the one in my area. Goodwill is a bit pricey.
The tape or sticker over the maker's mark is my pet peeve too.
In my area the only thing they have is literally garbage. Anything good is sold online or snatched up before it ever hits the floor
Yes because of people like this!
Solution... Don't go there.
One of my best Goodwill finds was a set of 6 "barrel" coffee mugs for $5. I studied ceramics and love American Art Pottery, I saw that they were Frankoma (which I collect) so knew the actually value was much higher and didn't have those in my collection. However, when I got home I noticed "Hamm's" stamped on the Handle. The barrel mugs were a standard production item, but the "Hamm's" Version was a limited edition made just for the beer company. They were worth much more as Hamm's beer memorabilia. Turns out they sell for about $100-$125 a piece when they rarely show up. So my $5 purchase was actually worth about $600-$750.
Wow!! My goodness, what an exciting find! Congratulations!! 😄
Good for you!
Fantastic discovery & thanks for sharing.
I am a novice reseller, but I'm using videos like these to educate myself. I actually take notes, so I love it when she tells us that something does or doesn't sell well for her, and where to search on eBay and things like that. I'm compiling a list of Maker's Marks, and manufacturers to look for, that I can carry on my phone & check as I go. My local Goodwill does not have an internet connection that they allow customers to access. I find that interesting.
Wow great score
How excellent someone that wont let them get destroyed found them. I find that more exciting than the monetary value
I tested positive for covid 19 after Christmas. It's day 5 in my bedroom and watching this has given me great joy! Thank you!
I still have problem with my sense of smell. Strangely I also have phantom smells. Some I haven’t had since childhood. Bizarre
Hi Diane! I'm very happy that you enjoyed my video and I wish you well very soon! 😊
@@kimberlyblair4568 get well soon!
Get well soon. Our family of four had it over labor day weekend. Praise the Lord, it wasnt real serious case, we treated ourselves at home and tested thru a walk thru/drive thru Clinic. However, we did feel awful, took us 6-8 weeks to get over the exhaustion and chest congestion and pain but we are starting to wonder if our sense of taste/smell has not been altered permanently. Take very good care of yourselves and praying for speedy recovery. These type videos helped me too to get thru the boredom of quarantine!
Get better!
I like how carefully your handle all items. I have seen videos where people just tossing what they do not want.
The thing that you thought was a jam pot was in fact a butter belle which are very expensive to buy. You bout the butter into the inside bowl and then place it upside down in cool water which you pour a little of into the outside bowl. This way your butter will remain fairly fresh but spreadable in the room temperature. They are great for the summer.😊
First time viewing your channel! Me and my mom used to go “Thrifting!” Oh how I miss her and doing that! She was a great collector of many things and had a good eye! Really enjoyed watching!
Thanks so much for spreading the joy.
She really does
Here in the Netherlands they display everything on color and it makes it look more organized.
Don't you love it how Goodwill manage to put the price sticker right on top of the marks/original sticker so we have to remove their price to see who made the pieces?
😂
So funny, but my granddaughter and I used to visit her local Savers Thrift Store every couple of days while I was visiting her in Santa Fe NM. Since Covid is surging I no longer go shopping or just enjoy wandering around for fun anymore. You are wandering around for me so I can vicariously enjoy “shopping “ with you LOL Thank you !💕
Your videos are always excellent. I enjoy the fact that you move slowly and explain things as you go. Keep it up I thoroughly enjoy your videos
😂who knew I’d binge on Thrifting Vegas videos !!!! Just love Tiffany, her enthusiasm and methodology in thrifting is fascinating as well as educational.
Wishing I was there. I would have snatched up those vintage blue lamps in a heartbeat. As a child my parents had them in amber and green. But the blue calls to me. So beautiful.
Great finds! I personally love that gravy boat with the fish on it, the cow bank, the bookend.
That dragon-ware tea pot was awesome. It would make a really pretty vase. I would buy tea pots without lids for that purpose if they are pretty.
That’s a great idea for teapots with no tops. The one she found would of made gorgeous planter.
@@animeboy9801 I put succulents in a old teapot I found 5-6 years ago. It’s really cute.
I do the same thing. And, I bought a rather small NIPON coffee pot that I turned into a pen & pencil holder.
I love the way you pair items up to help other shoppers,it’s so satisfying to watch. ☺️
The kettle is very attractive. That would make me use it instead of my electric kettle. And the cow bank is adorable 🥰 thank you Tiffany. ☺️💐🇬🇧
I find myself rooting for you to find the other pieces to the butter dish and stopper. Good luck!🍀
You are so knowledgeable and interesting to watch, Tiffany. I have learned a lot from you - thanks!
My daughter did all her decorations for her wedding and used clear random vases with red white and blue wildflower pricks. It was really beautiful.
Hello Tiffany..I enjoy going on your shopping trips with you.. blessings to you and your family
Isn’t it odd that the traditional cake plates don’t sell well?😕 I believe that everyone aught to own a “cake plate”🙄
For about 40 years, I used a green depression glass cake plate for my children’s birthdays🐥 and when my daughter had her first child(18 years ago now) I gifted it to her to use on her children’s birthdays😬 18 years and 3 children later🐥 Hopefully she will do the same with her own Little’s.
Oh, I do have a replacement one that I found at a “stop-n-swap”. It’s an old, red glass with gold embellishments one. More in line with my entertainment age.😎
Hi Tiffany. I saw where you took a peek at that sand art of an owl in a jar. Some can be quite valuable. Some have gone for thousands of dollars and hundreds. That one might have been a Robert Stouffer piece. Look up Andrew Clemens. I saw a piece on Antiques Roadshow about it. Really fascinating. You are so wonderful. Thank you for your videos!
Andrew Clemens, What an artist!
I just love your videos so much you find the best goodies and talk about them. 💕🤗💕
Dingleberry has a whole new meaning in USA. Hahaha
Thanks for taking me with you on your shopping trip. Means a lot to me.
I appreciate the speed you go through items...not too fast and not too slow.
I learn soooo much from you.
Blessings
The clay bitty baker is Dutch pie baker. You could bake sourdough bread in it as well.
I always enjoy ! Your so sweet. You can tell your a good person.
That's very kind of you Anna, thank you very much!
Love your channel. I love learning from you! I have always done thrifting for our own wares at home. Now I thrift for fun and you are teaching me things I haven’t known about.😃
You found some really pretty things! Love the blue cucumber dishes! And Ziggy and Bandit must be over the moon with their new toys! Or soon will be if you’re saving them for Christmas. 😉
Disappointed to see you switch from your usual haul style to Danni’s format. 🙁 Hoping it’s just a temporary switch because you’re packing, etc and have so much going on. I miss watching how you have an actual connection to the things you pick up and the personal touch that lends value to the pieces rather than just a list of inventory you think someone else will buy. I’m not explaining it well, I know. A good deal of the appeal of your channel lies in your personal charm and what a lovely lady you are. But another large part of what makes your channel so captivating is that it’s clear you LIKE the items you have chosen. Yes, they’re inventory - you’re running a business, after all - but they also have value to you beyond the name of the item and the bottom line cash value. And then, of course, there’s the boys choosing their favorites to sniff or curl up next to. Don’t underestimate the value of YOU. 💕💕
I love the new format, as long as we still get to see Ziggy and Bandit!
I agree one hundred percent…..teaming with others, diminishes your talents.
Hello Lucinda. I do so appreciate your thoughtful comments and advice, thank you! We are all surrounded by a multitude of boxes at the moment, with less and less living space each day, so I'll probably have to find different innovative ways to do the haul until I'm settled in my new office with a dedicated area for the haul (and of course the boys!) We're hoping for the middle of January. 🥰🥰
Also the tea cups and saucers with the roses that had no markings look like the pieces my grandmother collected weekly from the A&P grocery store in the early 60's.
Tiffany I love the way you do your haul at the end now. I almost told you once that I like the way that Dani did it and wished you would do it that way too. So glad you switched. God bless you this holiday season.
I love how you know what will sell and what will not. A lot of fun things in the store today.
Oh NO!! I would’ve grabbed those green (or blue) lamps in a heartbeat! They were amazing!!
I like Corelle dishes ….I have Arthritis in my hands….I like them because they are light weight and easy for me to handle….
My story also! I got rid of my extensive collection of heavy Village Pfaltzgraft and went with the pure white Corelle.
Tiffany, you found some great things again. Love that the cats help with the haul!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love shopping with you! You have such nice comments about everything!
I didn't know yr you tube existed! I'm such a goodwill shopper! you have upped my adventures...
I have a thing for the amber glass too. Also the avocado green! Love your show. Congrats on your new home.
We have that issue in this area too.... Goodwill charging ridiculous prices for certain items. No Goodwill, I'm not paying $300 for a couch , $80 for a shelf.
You aren't a boutique.
My late sister was an avid Goodwill shopper, and I used to go with her, but we found Goodwill prices getting more and more greedy so we started seeking out other thrift stores with more reasonable prices.
You missed one. The "Blue Willow" bacon tray made in Great Britan is a highly sought piece. They retail for between $150 and $180 depending on condition.
Good to hear - I have my Grandmother’s 🤗
Well done Tiffany. I am a SFBay Area thrift store maniac also. Great fun and found some amazing (amazing) stuff.
Thanks so much! Enjoy your thrifting!! 😊
I like the new format of your hauls where you put the prices next to the item (like Danni does). I like to screenshot those and put them in my “be on the lookout” photo album in case I come across some in the wild.
Girl everything you picked up I wanted! Same taste completely. I love love old pottery pieces! I adore them for awhile . Than off they go to someone else to love them. Old stuff is best stuff. Made right !
My first visit to your channel! Loved shopping along with you!
Thank you for watching and welcome to my channel Ms. Bee!
LOVE your beautiful kitty cat toward the end of the video!! Your finds were great, although I'm not sure about the Paula Deen kettle. Made in China is a total turn-off for me. I used to do Thrifting and e-Bay, but the hassle of photographing, describing in detail and then pack the items to ship, just was no fun after a while. Some customers got nasty and to me, it just was not worth it anymore. And finally, YES, Goodwill is overpricing the donations in my opinion. Clothes are still a good bargain, but charging 2-3 dollars for a glass thing that cost almost the same new, just seems ridiculous. Someone is making a fortune at Goodwill. They used to pick up from your home, they had those Goodwill trucks, and literally would pick up an entire household if you had that much to give.
Awww my favorite part was watching the kitty with his/her new toy 💜💜
I love the apple I would have bought it as well.
Have many cats/kittens. Each has its own personality. Always look forward to your hauls, to learn about many artists from England. A walk through history with you. Be safe. Hope you will be resetting in your new home soon. I would have bought the stopper...always find a use.
Thouroughly enjoyed this. Thank you
I love clear crystal glass. I'm sad also that it doesn't sell well. I sell about 4 pieces a year from my antique booth. My favorite thing you got today was the Paula Dean tea pot. Was raised on hot tea and they bring back wonderful memories of my Grannie and my Mom! Great finds you got today!!
Tiffany Hi💐 watching videos in your Playlist. When I find a clear piece I love I fill with color. Sometimes good floral you see a few stems that isn't enough I cut it down and fill the clear. I Sometimes use ribbons or Easter grass that isnt the cheap plastic but more like a colorful raffia. And the pebbles or buttons. When I bought clean up at auctions (lines of boxes at the end nobody wanted & you had to take it all)People would put chipped n broken Beautiful plates n Animal n Angel figurines. I couldn't bear to throw them away. I would place the plates under my Orchid n Christmas cactus. I used damaged pitchers for my hens n chickens outside. The figurines went into my flower beds. I can't believe some have been used 5-10 yrs. They make me smile. Happy Thrifting 😊
Hi Zoe, you are so precious! Your home is a lovely refuge for rescued treasures. I so appreciate you! 😊❤❤
Love GOODWILL. so nice to go shopping in Vegas from my livingroom
Love the look of those Wisemen…even without other pieces those would be amazing on display.
I have a tea pot without lid. It has sentimental value. I have some fake flowers in it from the Dollar Tree. I think it looks nice.
That dragon-ware teapot was beautiful!!
I love to see the things you pick up, it is fun to watch!!🥰
I just found your videos and LOVE watching them. I'm homebound in Iowa trying to stay away from Covid so Not getting out to thrift at all. Miss it so much so love watching you. 9 degrees here today! lol
That owl in the sand bottle is worth a lot, a deaf man from the Midwest made those. They are nor very easy to make, they take patience and time, to make.
When I saw she was leaving the sand owl I hollered out not to. I definitely would've grabbed him and the stacked tiny colored rectangular pyrex.
Oh Ziggy…How to have fun from your chair. So gorgeous. Love from Oz.
Hi Tiffany Tiffany, thanks for sharing lv Ann 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for taking me with you. Our Goodwills must ship its best somewhere else.
They do. They have an online site for the better items. But packing can be risky. They don't pack very well on some things.
I love this type of afternoon with a friend score deals and drink wine all afternoon looking at it! Huzzah!
Whats ur success w " craft" markets? I'm in a part of Canada where I score lots of antiques. Cheers
I love those blue cucumber dishes! My favorite find of yours today!
Wow!! Amazing goodwill store! Products really vary at different locations.
I love going through this kind of stuff.
I loved your video, very helpful. I'm going to watch any others you might have. Thanks
This is awesome to watch.
That's cool Narnies. I op shop all the time in Australia. Your store looks like our stores.Ive found so many antiques & goodies.Their My Favourite Shops!👍👽🦋👻
Enjoy watching your videos x
OH!I really like how you showed what ya paid and what listing price is at the end!!! Nice!
I'm glad you liked it, thank you Darlene. 😊❤
That drip glaze pottery you were looking at is quite old. Use to come in soap boxes with the ability to buy larger pieces. Some serve ware was quite heavy and beautiful shapes. The slight blue/green in the glaze is distinctive and this is the only drip pottery that you’ll find that.
Interesting, thank you so much for educating me! 😊
I love your videos. I’m so glad you bought that blue Willow plate ever thought it has the chip, it is such a beautiful piece of history.
Me too...I was happy as well
found a little sewing cabinet at goodwill that bought for $13.25 ut it on line and sold it for $1800.00 6 hr later.
So interesting to see things you chose that your friend did not. I enjoyed seeing all the furniture, in Canada we don't, do furniture. Bandit has the most beautiful eyes. loved the haul.
I remember having dinner dishes, cups, bowls, etc that were similar to that brown plate with the frothy edges! This was in the 60s!
Oh!! I was holding my breath for you to snag that amberina glass footed bowl 😭❤️ it was shown when you looked at that tall cut glass vase with some damage you mentioned
Funniest part of video at the end when you three were playing with the cat toys there was a lady behind just staring at you three. I can just imagine the look on her face behind her mask. 😄
Great finds! Thanks for letting us see Bandit; missed Ziggy, though.
Well thank you for letting me know what those poles are for on the carts. (months back video) I hated to take up your time asking what in the world are they for so now I know! You know what I love about you and also sets you apart from ALL the others is your utter joy in pieces I would never even glance at. Then I hear your delight and I look at the piece more along with you. So genuine and sweet. YOU'RE THE BEST OUT THERE!! Thank you for the most relaxing free therapy. Blessings sent for the holidays Tiffany.
You are so kind, Vickie, thank you so much! I am honored to be your thrifting therapist! Have a joyful holiday season. 🥰
I used to love going to Goodwill. But lately their prices have gone sky high (by thrift store standards). Many of their items are the same price as, if not more than, original prices, making me wonder what the heck they're smoking at GW Corporate. Thrift stores are supposed to be the end of the line, with bottom on the barrel prices because (LEST THEY, AND WE, FORGET) _everything is USED!_ Same for Salvation Army. Pricing is much higher than it should be (or needs to be). Even if it's a "nicer" item--it's not up to them to determine if the price should be increased because it happens to be of a certain age, or maker. Just MARK THEM DOWN, and let the buyers figure it out. I really don't like shopping where the sign says "all pairs of shoes $15"...oh but not that pair, that one's $45. It's maddening.
@@tikesplace Also the fact that we're in the middle of a pandemic, and most people either lost their jobs, or have people who cannot work so they have to pick up the slack. My mom owned her own Thrift Store shop. She bought storage units and sold her findings. She only lasted a year because the prices couldn't keep up. (Her location wasnt great either.) Like I know that this stuff is all section hand, but these are still businesses being run by people who need to eat, put clothes on their kids, and keep a roof over their head. Cut them some slack.
I learn so much watching your videos. I have a question: what are you checking when you are shining g a light to see if something "glows"? At first I thought lead but then I thought you said "sadly no" so I'm just curious what you are looking for. And what do you mean by "project piece"? When I shop thriftcstores, I look at items so differently now, almostcwith a new respect. Thank you!
Thanks for your videos
Hi Tiffany I love watching you get so excited at finding a beautiful item and with watching you and Danni the niche lady I'm learning to recognize some pieces of glass, tableware, and giftware. There are so many lovely things to see in the amazingly huge thrift stores, that you have in America. I live in Australia and we have nothing like you have. I burst out laughing when you commented on the fluffy stool in the furniture department as when I was a teenager mum had a pink fluffy stool with gold legs just like the one you saw, I loved that stool, how funny.
Hi Sharon, thank you for watching my channel, I'm so glad you're enjoying it!
We do not have thrift stores in my country. I would shop only there all the time!
Also people here do not give away goods in such good condition either. We like to use up everything!
That teapot reminds me of Mrs. Potts from Beauty and the Beast. Good find.
Good morning 🌞. I just started watching this video and had to laugh. The little square green glass dish used to have a candle in it. I used to buy them. I have a few and use them in my studio to hold my flux and cutting oil for stained glass. Now, on with this video..lol
ALWAYS FUN TO WATCH
Hi from Australia thanks for sharing I love Sunday nights
You totally missed the (possibly) Corning
Pyrex colored baking dishes, if they were
patent pending pieces the set of four goes
for 2-3 hundred.
Fenton lamp should have grabbed it even for 30.00
If you return there and it’s still there, please pick up the orafore (?) glass candle holder time mark 14:45) for me to use as a pottery lift. I actually need several round or square similar and will gladly buy current market price. Pottery blocks would work too, but I’ve never seen them.
She's passed several orrefors in past vids , she needs to educate herself about their worth.
My computer came up haulless afterBandid played with ribbon. Your programs are delightful!
Awesome 👏 I just can’t believe the finds.❤️❤️🥰
I often shop for vases. I bring milk crates or heavy boxes and sheets of bubble wrap with me so I know it makes it home ok.
IM Totally In love with watching your videos… I cant stop watching them!!!!!💯♥️
I like seeing Bandit play at the end. Blanko apple won the day.
I liked the way you did your haul at the end 🤩
You forgot to price the Apple paperweight?!
The clear glass cubist Rossini vase only sells for about $15. But other brands of cubist clear glass can go for $40+.
Coca Cola tray $5.99 and the rust on the bottom is free!
Yes, I was waiting for the paperweight too.
Just went to this location yesterday with my friend. So cool to see things that I saw there too lol. Wish we ran into you guys while we were there! Love watching the two of your videos. Let’s get thrifting!
