The mission for this trio was to find new information in these libraries and report their finding to BH. Well I think Matt knows that BHs already have the info they need. They are in the know of the moon problems happening and even Aeor Downfall knowledge. So who else would need that information that could be connected to the trio? Well Prism is connected to the Cobalt Soul. So is Bo Lionnett. Might Nien is one of our strike teams for moon targets and would rapidly need to be in the know to deal with their target. Conclusion: We will have either a two part M9 episode with part 1 including guests. Or the trio hand waved in that they info dumped to M9 (if scheduling cant allow a meet up of irl players)
well its not like the main group have kept them in the loop. and cannonical its only really being a few days like maybe 4 or 5 at most since they lost FCG and probloby a week and a half since they met these three. people keep forgeting the BHs have only known each other for like two mouths that campighs rabid
On a practical level, I think it’s probably because they want all three of them to come and be on the show or at least one or two of them. So I get that’s why they haven’t really dealt with it. But it really doesn’t make sense. Story wise. They should’ve sent a message ages ago.
I'd say this, 3 sessions on average being one day seems alright to me, but when it doesn't happen TOO consistently. And especially in recent year it has been happening so consistently, that the idea of time becomes extremely wonky, even without throwing feywild into the mix. If you think about it, the Aeyor stuff took whole summer to get through thanks to downfall, even tho it was realistically about two days in game.
Honestly the more you lok into C3 timeline it does feel so rushed. By C3e104 they have had between 89-96 days, so just over 3 months. This is why the 3rd campaign has felt so weird to me, the group have been playing for over 2 years but they have 3 months of bonding. To put it in perspective, when compaired with C2 it is wild: 》In C2e104 they have had 273 days pass, so just under 9 months. 》In C2e36 they had travelled together for 89 days. 》In C2e41 they had travelled together for 96 days. Meaning that Molly died after 39 days with the group in C2e26, and FCG died after 85-92 days with the group in C3e89. So a difference of 46-53 days and 63 episodes between these deaths, which feels extremely weird that there is only around 1 month between these events. Note: --The reason why Bells Hells have either 89-96 days is due to the part split of Issylra and Wildmount having different run times.
@@karlstoker04 it is certainly weird but for one continuous mission it makes sense that the enemy can’t take months and months to finish their plans without the enemy feeling slow and sometimes Ludinus does feel like he’s going slowly C2 was many different arcs that weren’t totally related especially after the death of Molly where the party just chilled for a month except fjord who went south to look for people in his past there’s more time to breath in that story But you’re right it has felt weird for sure
@@ZodiacBandit Whilst one continuous story line would mean it would have to be less idling around or sides stories, but Matt could have had the plot drawn out natural by moving C3e1 further away from the solstice. They could have slowly gathered the threads of the story and they put it together, starting with seemingly unconnected plot lines which tied in. They could have story arcs leading them towards elements, like a feywild arc which could have shown the alliance between the vanguard and the fey. Also C2 did have plot lines with spanned arcs: 》Like the Iron Shepards where part of the Angel of Irons, 》The Angel of irons where involved with the war, 》The war was a cover for the attempted freeing of the Chained Oblivion. So a group present in the early 20s where important to the stopping of the war with finished in the 90s of episodes. 70 episodes but not everything was linked together allowing the time to pass more organically, this causes the group to get to know each other rather than being forced together. It is why the romance between Ashton and Fearne feels weired for people, or why people don't know what they think of each other, and why the campaign has felt weird.

@@ZodiacBandit If it wasn't meant to be along one I feel as though they should have started off with different characters, they feel like characters which need a character driven story like C2. If they already knew each other, or where higher level to begin. They could have felt established characters in the world, rather than a group of nobodies with little reason to trust each other and care for each other which level up every 10ish episodes. I feel as though they have PC designed for a C2 character focused/lead game, not C3s story driven game.

I’ve been so disappointed with the lack of interpersonal conversations because those were some of the best moments of C2 and made that campaign and those characters magical. A lot of C3’s characters and their relationships have a lot of potential (Imogen/Laudna, Orym/Dorian, Fearne/Ashton, and all the various close friendships) but there’s been virtually no time to stop and breathe and while I understand the purpose of the pace and stakes of the campaign, it just doesn’t mesh with the characters C3 has. With C2, we saw them become a family in real time. In C3 we’re told they’re a family when they’re anything but
I think you're reading into this too much. It's more likely that Matt just doesn't like piloting guests characters and it's hard to get schedules aligned. Personally hope we never see Frida again. I've enjoyed all the ships in CR but theirs and FCG. So forced and cringe. Dude clearly came in with that intent and Sam being Sam said "sure!". Compare that to Dorian/Orym. Organically grown over time , from allies to friends to shyly flirting and then serious tension since Dorians return. Chef kiss perfecto.
@@huntercarr3273 it’s been more then two weeks they are likely fixed, also just like sending didn’t work and now it Randomly does it was done so the party couldn’t contact each other when spilt and it’s likely uthadurn the city team Wildemount went to has one so now that Matt doesn’t have to manage the split parties it’s likely done again and like I said before time has passed and wizards have likely fixed them
@ZodiacBandit I thought Matt had mentioned that the enchantment is shattered, so recasting at least in the wording of the spell would take another year to reset. But Matt could imply what you said that maybe there were, in fact, suppressed until magics reconnected.

So they announced that the M9 and VM storylines for the upcoming siege of the moon are going to be whole episodes, correct? Perhaps arcs of a few episodes? My question is whether Robbie will join those as well, perhaps they will get a different guest return for each of those?
They actually talked about this a bit and both Sam and taliesin offered him some of their old characters, Taryon Darrington for VM and Kingsley for M9 but I’d like him to maybe pick a npc from each campaign to use or make his own character

Then Chet Imogen Laudna and Ash could link up w/ Prism FREIDA and Deanna filling out The Party to use the secret passage ?

TP circles were burnt out in the malleus key 1st pulse, teleportation works, but the circles already created were muted
