@@ZodiacBandit You are the best thanks for the quick response and as always, thanks for the great video! This fight was so short (4 turns ish) yet so entertaining. I am SO looking forward to the other 2 major fights. IMO, 2 episodes per fight to conclude them. I think...well depending on whether Prodathos is released or not, I believe the last 3 or more episodes after these major battles are going to be a how to conclude campaign 3. Freaking sucks man.... I think I am going to rewatch Campaign 2 after. It's been a few years since I've watched it and I just LOVE the entire storyline.

@@aliasalias8681 keylith as a character has very clearly shown she can’t move on she tries to hide that fact but it’s clear she can’t if she had a real piece of him around maybe she finally can. Does she absolutely need that no but damn 30 spiteful years give her something

⁠​⁠ I know. But they so rarely touch on her, and want to emphasize the loss of VAX. Once the rest of Vox Machina… ages out of future campaigns, she could conceivably find love again. She has significantly more opportunity to develop as a character, who she was at 20 something whenever he died is going to be more of a distant memory to her than he is in a few decades, let alone a few centuries. If they have her moping over him after 100 or so years, or training her grandchildren, it feels really weak. It feels like most of Keylith‘s character is bound to be the widow of VAX rather than the voice of the tempest.

@@aliasalias8681 I like the way you think but I also like the thought of a kid with Vax. I think personally that would bring Keekee a comfort she so desperately needs.

Some people can't move on even when they try my mom could move on from my dad he was her soul mate. She tried to have relationships they didn't work. Keyleth did try to move on and couldn't some connections are one in a lifetime.

@@ZodiacBandit Divine intervention is 10th level, 20th just makes it suceeed automatically but realistically a level 10 cleric could have suceeded that roll

That was a big spell she used, she could of used it for more important... but loved her friend. We've had unsaved deaths in CR. They just got the tower down and reviv and all the Divine powers back.

It's D&D there's plenty ways to bring back the dead

@ It would’ve just given disadvantaged on attacks and makes them fail sight based checks and saves they already had disadvantaged from the spell anyway not to mention they have to roll a saving throw or be blind so it’s not a sure thing they go blind

Im fairly certian it also gives advantage on attacks against the creature, unless they possess something like tremor sense ​@@ZodiacBandit

@@ZodiacBandit the reason I’m thinking Chet dies is that imo Matt wants bells hells to beat Ludinus (and Orym getting the hdywtdt would be the most impactful) and release predathos. I think that the actual final conflict of the campaign will be a full episode on what to do with the gods and if imogen can control it

Considering they advertised a daggerheart trial game in exandria as one of their live shows my guess is it survives and campaign 4 will be their system not dnd. This seems like it’s a massive goodbye to dnd and all the fun of 10 years doing this stuff. Bring on all the cameos and guests!

Yeah, Arkhan just kinda missed for me, as far as guest characters go. He certainly wasn't the worst and Joe seemed fine, but his character was just kinda meh to me.

Yeah I mean, watching that moment was cool, but when you realize that he was able to take about 5 or 6 actions all at once, he never should've been able to get away with the hand, but, narrative reasons and whatnot...

@@omega1735 i actually agree with this a time skip will be the best thing for C4 to make it feel like C2 did c3 has felt dependent on previous campaigns C4 should stand alone

@@omega1735 and make it a big enough time skip so they can do one shots and not have it effects the c4 timeline

@@ZodiacBandit I think it is likely but I think if it happens it definitely will mean the permanent retirement of c1 characters and possibly c2 characters depending on how long the jump is. The main thing would be grog and Percy. Percy is just a human no extended life span to speak of and I don’t think Goliath’s have much longer of a life span then humans so realistically both could be dead from old age at the start of c4 the same honestly could be said for most of the mighty nien tbh. Point being that will probably make some people up set but it’s necessary considering the scale of what’s happening here.

@@mikeharris6429 I forgot mind blank she’d still be in trouble without it there’s many ways to deal with persistent rage at high levels not to mention after a bit she’ll literally be a useless combatant as the weave mind fly and she can’t fly forever she’ll be a sitting duck unless she’s given range by someone but I doubt fjord will waste his spells to make her fly

Idk if she dies while raging she’ll still be up yes but all it takes is one round where she can’t hit anyone in time or takes no damage.
