I agree with you. You laid out all the reasons why Bellz Hellz will have the hardest fight. You missed one, though. This is their campaign. Why would he give hard fights to the previous campaign teams? He wouldn't. And let's be honest, people would be furious if he did. Myself included. (Though I have the decency to not antagonize them online for it.) But yeah, they're about to make a name for themselves.😂
Even if they defeat ludanis, and he isn't a simulacrum, theres no chance he doesn't have a clone spell prepared somewhere, or some contingency spells, or like. I dont know. I just dont see Bells Hells ACTUALLY outsmarting a centuries old genius and walking away with an actual win
I’m assuming the order of the fights will be as you listed. Vox Machina first with the easiest and so on. Mighty Nein are the strongest party of the 3, so agree their fight will be second hardest but against the strongest enemy. If Ludinus was a PC with thousands of years he would have legit taken over the world by now, but Matt has limited him purposefully.
@@davidwilfand916 that’s the unfortunate truth for alot of villains especially wizards any villain wizard should have clones and shit waiting for them to somehow die but they don’t sometimes for story telling
I pretty sure that Might Nein will have the hardest fight, then Bells Hells, and lastly Vox Machina. Vox Machina: 》They have nearly no significantly named enemies. 》Matt will likely only have them fight a handful of powerful individuals and mostly cannon fodder enemies 》They will likely have the least challenging battle as they aren't fighting anyone with pre-established abilities. Bells Hells: 》They are facing Ludinus. 》Whilst Ludinus is a powerful individual in concept, but in my opinion Matt doesn't know 5E wizards well enough to create a significant threat. 》Ludinus will likely have a transformation into a Fey-Human hybrid with unique combat abilities. 》They will likely have a middle of the road fight as Matt will limit Ludinus's theoretical strength/abilities, because of the party level only being 15. Might Nein: 》They are facing the Weave Mind. 》This is the biggest unknown pre-established enemies of the campaign. 》Whilst Might Nein have the best defence of the 3 groups, I believe that they will mainly be throwing Intelligence Saving Throws (which they haven't protected against). 》CR's favourite group is M9 so they will want to end with them, so I believe this would be the final and toughest fight.
Vox will be facing Ozo Cruth the sunder king, he's a 10ft relorian juggernaut who is leading the defense of the mallus key, he rides a giant worm creature and fearne's dad stated he's a powerful warrior. So a good fight for vox
@@ronaldcriss5454 Fearne's father was extremely weak, in my opinion, him saying it will be a difficult fight is hardly promising. 》Ozo Cruth is likely a Conquest Paladin (being the head ofthe church of donation) which can be a treat at level 20, but not really a difficult encounter for Vox Machina. 》He not been shown wielding any heavy weapons, so no GWM damage (nearly mandatory for martials to keep up with castsers). 》Being large just means his mace will deal 2d8 (9 average) instead of 1d8 (4.5 average) per swing. 》So far Juggernaut Reiloran have just had a bonus action shove and decent HP, so no significant damage.
I agree with everything you said but I also think that if you are looking at the potential for character deaths I think the order is reversed. I can totally see the players wanting to give their campaign one characters a fitting finale. I would not be surprised to see Sam or Talieson wanting Scanlan or Percy to go out in a blaze of glory. Also whats up with that piece of paper that percy took? Almost like he has something as a contingency plan in case he doesn’t make it back. With the M9 I think there is a less of a chance of character death but because it is a harder fight and the group is so chaotic I can also see something freaky happening and someone going down. Because Bells Hells is the weakest of the groups from a power standpoint, I do think they have the toughest fight. But I also think there is a higher likely hood they would be more strategic and careful. With all of that said with D&D there is always a chance that dice can get hot or cold and who knows what happens in these fights. But I bet it will be exciting.
