Had it happen to me last weekend, good person out picking up litter left on verge , but not wearing any high viz and hiding in dark by bush , dropped their rubbish and just stepped backwards into road to pick it up . Missed them by a couple of feet doing 40 mph country road 🤪🤪

😲 Road workers, refuse collectors etc. can appear from nowhere.
