I like your t-shirt. Very creative but also have a good pride in being the people of UK. Also very great stretches. Bodyweight warriors is a great title for this channel. Keep it up!
Hi Tom, just wondering: is there a reason the one-arm hang doesn't use the supinated grip? Does it make much of a difference? I've been struggling with this lat tightness from an overuse injury wreaking havoc on my shoulder and have found that stretching with an underhand grip has made a positive difference. Cheers.
These stretches literally saved me today. From gym workouts I tend to get very tight, mostly on my right side - to a degree where i feel depressed and uncomfortable. Shoulder, neck, lat, abs, glutes and the leg … Also I do have experience with severe depressive episodes, which i have observed to also be episodes of severe tightness. Do you have any knowledge about the coherence of tightness and mental health? This does interest me a lot, still there is just little evidence about these topics.
Hey I totally resonate with the stretch seshes saving me. To be quite honest i think it's not the tightness that's causing the mental uneasiness but rather the stretching really requires you to focus on your body and breathe which ultimately helps you sort of meditate. And i believe u'd get the similar benefits with meditation or counselling. At least, that seemed to work for me. Take care of urself king
Tom Merrick yea maybe underarm was a bit wrong, i often have not enough power in my arms maybe also shoulder to press myself up while in handstand or just in the air with the rest of my body
Seems like it would be best to develop a thorough stretching regimen well before body weight or weight lifting program. Seem so very foundational but largely ignored. Bare minimum for preventing injury and maintaining muscle health.
old but gold. Cleared up the back arching thing for me when stretching lats, thankyou!
Which lat stretch was the best for you? I need hours of lat stretching.. :/
