once you get your first lux weapon all the materials you need are buyable so then its just a matter of having them and turning it all in to get through all the steps
i love watching you're prog on savage blind
i'm not spoiling anything don't worry but two advice to save you hours of overcooking
1) watch debuffs when a new meca happen , you're never gonna clear first time so you just want to understand how things works
2) if you're stuck somewhere and don't understand why ppl die , look at the damage you take , you'll understand very quickly what is a share/spread/tank buster

If you want pimp monk relic. I think the pyros is the best monk relic. The flames in battle pretty epic.
Those or the Makai fists from the Saucer are my favorites. I loved the last stage of the Manderville until I learned they were gloves 🤢
@@rtiq270i really dislike the Mandeville relic for monk. I finished it and was like... the glow is kinda cool, but what am i supposed to do with these? How do I style around this? The only "forced glove" i like is dragon beard fists.😅
@@Alissandre_Iskander The third stage with the EW artifact armor matches really well, but yeah it looks awful on anything else. It's been a complaint for years afaik, so why they continue to design monk weapons that way baffles me.
I'd suggest Psy trying DK, Imo it feels most like a melee job of all the tanks and Blackest night is a satisfying skill
The Sandungs Lux (NIN relic, final step) remains my favorite-looking weapon in the entire game, and I've been using it for several years now. I love that ninja is wielding actual shortswords instead of the usual daggers, and the glow and general look is absolutely gorgeous. 10/10, although I'm biased of course.
One thing about the final stage of each relic that's not shown in this video is that they all use very basic (level 10 or so) weapon models until you unsheathe them, then the particle effects and runes appear. Some hate it, I love it. Also 15:48 FROSTMOURNE HUNGERS!
all stages are available as glam blueprint, so feel free to change the look of your actual weapon
I'm also a fan of more subtle glows, like my favorites have minimal glow, just enough to highlight what is cool and not just a giant blob of lights. Some do just scream "Look at me" too much so I really don't like them.
As a SMN main, our books can be sad. But Mimesis Lux stands out. Easiest decision to grind out the relic.
My fav anima relics are the Dark Knight and summoner ones.

In Endwalker content you can get small, subtle knuckles with a golden dragon that winds up your forearm.
As a monk main that hates bulky weapons and weapons that i have to build aesthetic around (unless the weapon is pretty)... i realized very quickly that i set myself up for disappointment 😂
The are verrrry few monk weapons i like and almost none of them are relics
I believe the materials arent up to purchase until you hit the appropriate step in the questline for the 1st time, then you can dump your poetics on them whenever. Though a couple steps have items that arent bought by poetics (a few come from GC seals) and there is a step with both a daily and weekly quest that pays out the material for that step. But one of the bug steps is the aethersand/umbrite step, best get a crafter or gatherer lvled as they have the quickest way to get the tokens you trade for the sands
Another option for sand is to use those 100 leve allowances. If you grab a HW leve (I have the very first one on my journal for this) and you start the leve, there's a chance of a chest spawning and HW leve chests always have 1 amber in it. You then abandon the leve, rise repeat. Each amber can be exchanged for 2 sand.
I like the matte versions of the bozja weapons. I don't monk, but that's the first bozja weapon I went for because I love the look of the final weapon as matte
I still say that the majority of HW relics are the best looking weapons in the game if you want gaudy. Every expansion I look to see if there's something that will replace my Deathlocke Lux, but nothing has matched it for me. Granted what we've seen from DT there could be a chance that expansion gives me a replacement.
MNKs have it rough for nice looking weapons unfortunately. If you want animal themed, ARR's Sphairai (and its glowy step) might pique your interest.
If you want some cool MNK weapons that aren't just fists them you should check out the PvP weapons. There's a set of Wolverine claws and gloves that ignite with a fiery symbol. There's also a set of fiery claws you can get for tomes at the Heavensward vendors.
If you want tonfas, there's a set available for tomes in Stormblood and as the ShadowBringers relic too.
The last step for the warrior one is FAR better than the previous steps, idk wtf y'all are on about

Agree. I almost have all the SB relics. Using eureka to finance the HW relics. The final stage of eureka should get me done with all the HW. And since i dual box, that's for both accounts.
I have never seen aaaaanyone with a monk HW relic
People who want to show commitment to relics complete at least 1 ARR relic. Thats the true test.
Yeah. Im on the books, zodiac is just the grindy relics with only Eureka possibly being worse
@@craigfunk3453 i just finished all of the ARR relics like 2 weeks ago, I've grown numb to the grind.
Yeah, I've one of each weapon in the last year or so and the ARR one is definitely the grindiest still, which is funny considering how annoying getting DR runs for ShB is, and how much people complain about Eureka being "impossible" to do solo
