I havent had time to go over the prog vods yet, but I have to tell you thank you so much for going through these fights and taking your time. Watching Alex was a blast and Omega is also awesome (for the most part).

i did progression when this was current. setting aside whatever difference there is with MINE, i can't imagine doing this blind. That's one challenge I'll pass on for myself personally lol

Since you mention it in the video, you should consider feinting as much as possible to make it a habit. Most raid wide attacks are magical damage, and it's the reason that people think feint isn't necessary. However, it's good to get into the habit of feinting whenever you can because for one, your healers will be able to contribute more damage which shouldn't be underestimated. Two, you will eventually be some fights where bosses will deal physical damage for their raid wide attacks. P10S is one fight that comes to mind immediately for this.
You can also use it to help out your tanks with their tank busters since those are almost always physical damage attacks.

Super interesting to hear your thoughts on this fight. I did this MIL blind (well, simulated blind) with some people from an MIL-content Discord a few months ago as part of going through the whole Omega Savage series MIL and really enjoyed it (my favourite of the Omega 4th floors). Gonna post my thoughts on the video as I watch it.
2:40 One thing you didn't mention (so I assume you didn't realise this, as it's quite hard to see) is that the boss always roughly teleports to the furthest away point. So, if you pull him more north, he will always teleport roughly south (can be SE or SW). This means you can put your markers actually around the south edge of the arena which gives way more space to spread out for the puddles.
11:50 Yeah those tower orbs are pretty hard to see if you don't know you need to look for them. Thankfully they came up with a better way of showing that in Endwalker (EX6 specifically).
12:40 Yeah, tanks never get tethers because they need to do the close/far baits slightly after. Also, we found it easier to do the opposite strat to you, which is have people take towers on the same side as their heads, as this reduces the chance that someone accidentally drags their head through the healer tower or into a tank.
14:40 Trine is a classic FF14 3-to-1 dodge, that comes up in multiple fights where three sets of 'bad things' spawn and you need to stand on the 3rd set and move into the 1st after it explodes.
    15:20 Futures Numbered :P
22:05 Even looking at the VOD there, it's obvious you can get melee uptime from every tower. The simplest strat is to have tanks and healers take the same side tower as Forsaken 2, then all dps take the 4-player tower.
23:30 This is the other reason why you want all dps in the 4-player tower, because it allows healers to literally stand still throughout the Forsaken 1 part of Forsaken 3 and do all the healing necessary. (Shortly before this you can also see the tanks needing to do some unnecessary movements due to heads being taken through the mid, which is why I mentioned doing it same side tower + head is what we found easier.)
24:45 Also no reprisal on Light of Judgement. As the hardest hitting raidwide in the fight, tanks should be prioritising making sure one of them has reprisal for each cast, just in case.
26:20 That's hardly surprising :D, gonna be curious to see how many O12S takes as that fight is brutal (though imo not as hard as A8S, but YMMV).
27:15 Fights only get more timelined as you get closer to current content. Different people have differing opinions on fight design, but I much prefer more modern fights to the older ARR/HW design.

I was uploading them but they weren't doing well viewership wise so decided I'd only post the more popular fights. It's a shame cause I'd love to have them all uploaded 😔

"Would be a very interesting Healerfight" .....NOPE!! At least not when it was released. This fight was absolute Pain as WHM especially the 1 HP Move in p2 right at the Start. WHM's back then generated sooooo much Aggro i had to use Lucid Dreaming not to generate MP but more as an Aggro Reduce Skill. We needed a NIN to smokescreen me every Time. Forsaken 1 was also really Pain.....nope nope just nope. Still have PTSD from Time to time. It was a Really cool fight though but i dont miss it as a Healer ^^ i had way more fun with O12s

@@ridleyroid9060 i mean jeah Kinda ^^ it is a cool fight though ngl. But the whole Aggro Management from a WHM was a real Pain back then especially when you also had the old Tanking Mechanic with DPS and Tank Stance.....O8s was a ride back then ^^
