I have the black one. And it's been my go-to guitar for years!! I got rid of a ton of guitars years ago, but I couldn't bear to let the peavey go. A highly underrated guitar years ago, and even today.

What'd I tell ya! Aren't they cool. Super happy for you , great price, great guitar. I would have never thought of a Peavey either ....until I got mine, totally changed my mind. They have been known as a working mans guitar, solid sturdy stuff.

Ya like I said I'm really impressed with it. The quilt is at least a 5a which, if you order a kiesel is a $400 option. The Seymour duncan sounds awesome youll dig my tone test video when I do it. No regrets on this buy unlike that shitty ass agile I bought

I was wondering why the comments were off. I wanted to say.. That looks awesome. Bet it looks a lot better in person.

Really is a beautiful guitar and it plays really good. Totally unexpected from a peavey.

I wouldn't say Carvin was lesser if your going by the artist list, guitar or amps. I actually still have my 1990 Carvin X-50B with 4x12 cab, sweet amp, Steve Vai seemed to like them too lol.
I have one of these Peavey V-type exp, mine is metallic Blue, it came with black Peavey licensed hardware, I only kept the neck and body, I ordered gold Schaller tremolo system and Schaller locking tuners with Seymour Duncan Blackout pickups. Installed a bunch of Blue Titanium hardware and brass big block from Fu-tone, it's a complete monster!

Kramer is one of your lesser brands??!! You obviously know nothing about the 80’s guitar scene.

Not sure why you're saying "lamination". I think you mean "lacquered", as in the neck is painted/has a shiny finiish. I have the same guitar with trhe Floyd Rose. The necks are nothing like Ibanez. The Peavy neck is much thicker/rounder. As for the Peavey Vandenberg, I have two of those and they have super thin necks. Even more so than Ibanez. V-Types share a basic body outline with the Vandenberg but that's really it. No association with Adrian Vandenberg

Great guitars for the price. Sadly they'll probably sit on reverb for a while due to the market. If I find another one that's not red I might get it
