@@AirPurifierFirst I did. I love it. The night light, true hepa, and vesync app are added features I love for my kids room. Now I'm thinking a 400s for the living room to replace my Winnix D360
I actually have both of these, I'd prefer the 200s because the 200s is way bigger and you can feel and sense that it pushes more air, to me it's worth the extra money to get more purification power. I really want to see how the 300s and the high models after that. 400s 600s ect.
Hi! Is the Levoit Core 200S a good, affordable choice for smoke? My neighbors are heavy smokers so sometimes the smoke smell from the hallway seeps into my condo. I'd like to make sure I am relatively safe from the secondhand smoke, but I don't want to spend over $100+ for an air purifier unless there is a product I can't beat. My entire condo is about 650 sq ft, but I'd mainly be using the air purifier in the hallway/by the kitchen where my front door is. Thanks so much.
ACH is an industry-standard and a reference value in Energy Star and AHAM tests. When the Levoit Core Mini cleans a room of 178 sq. ft. 2 times per hour, we say it has an ACH of 2. As the industry recommendation is 4.8 ACH, I always suggest using an air purifier in a room that can clean the air 4.8 times in one hour. To put it simply: at 2 ACH, the air in the space is replaced twice per hour, while at 4.8 ACH, the air is replaced 4.8 times per hour. A higher ACH value indicates better ventilation and more frequent air exchange. So, in theory, you can use an air purifier in rooms larger than recommended, but only if the room isn't overpolluted. P.S. Levoit has used 4.8 ACH in their recommendations in the past year. They have probably changed it to gain more sales or so.
Hi! Thanks for this video. Very helpful. What filter type is needed for the Mini? It seems smaller than the filter for the Core 200s filter that’s widely available.
If the filter is overused in a smoke environment, it could smell of smoke. That's why I always suggest an air purifier with a larger concentration of carbon pellets.
Thank you for the video! Do u think the mini would be a suitable travel air purifiers for hotels and whatnot? I’m regards to it’s size and packability?
@@slytherinbuttafly3088 So, I tried it in a hotel room, and the room was quite clean. My wife, who has allergies, had a minor issue, unlike in other hotels where she kept sneezing. The Levoit Core 200 was effective. It was almost ineffective on the first day, but from the second day onwards, she felt really good. If it were our larger Philips 800, there would have been no issue after 2 hours, but this smaller unit needs some time. The hotel room size was around 12 square meters. Overall, I would say that, considering its small size and price, it's good enough for travel.
I usually compare air purifiers that users/followers ask for. As many people wanted to see which one of these two was a better buying option, I decided to compare them.
In my country, the 200S costs twice as much, and its filter is also twice as expensive. I'm choosing the Core Mini for a small room.
why the fuck are you caressing the filter like that 😂
very good video comparison. One of the best I've seen of 2 products
I was considering upgrading from my core mini to a 200s for my son's room. I think I definitely will now
Did you upgrade to the Levoit Core 200S?

did anyone else notice on smoke box test there is smoke leaking out of the box on the 200s but i don't see any on the mini?

What do the different speeds accomplish and why does it blow cool air...The Core Mimi
The Core Mini manual and the official webpage says it covers 17 sq meters or 178 sq feet. Where'd they get 71 sq feet from?

after the smoke test, do filters tend to smell of smoke, while unit is in use? Thanks for great review.

the h132 are better then the mini , right? o

I had the same question. I have a Philips 800 for my room and now I need a small one for travel which mini looks promising.
@@No1mrnoobplayer let me know if u do get it and it works out well for u

You should cover the Instant ap300 Air Purifier to the core 400s
Thanks for the suggestion! I will consider it.
It’s not fair to compare in this way , of course it’s better because it’s way cheaper.
