I have one of these albeit the larger model for a big area. To be blunt it’s brilliant. I leave it on auto all of the time and the air sensor is so sensitive that it adapts the filtration very accurately. I was cutting some tile outside of the house and the door was open a fraction but this still picked up on what must have been tiny amounts of dust in the air and the display turned red and the fan kicked in. It also picks up if anyone is cooking anything even slightly Smokey on the hob and immediately starts to purify the air in the room. I cannot recommend these enough.
Great video explaining everything about the Levoit air purifier and i have just ordered one from Amazon. But i wish people wouldn't use the alexa word when doing video's because my echo show kept asking you to repeat the question and then saying mmm i don't know that one. 😂
Wow, great review! I'm very impressed by this! Been looking for a somewhat affordable air purifier. £150 for all those functions on the app etc is very impressive! Think I'll be buying one soon!
Excellent, thorough and clear presentation - thank you! This looks pretty amazing! However, What I'm keen to know in particular is usage costs - including the cost of replacement filters, which are often incredibly and unexpectedly pricey, Off to the website now to find out!
The Philips is the cheaper to run option buy about half the wattage, filters are about the same £27 but Philips say change them 12 months, Levoit 6-8 and the Phips is also £20 cheaper atm
nice andy i was in an electrical shop today called briscos they are only in ireland i was looking for tower fan with timer but they cost around €350 just couldnt afford it
@@lords-electrical sadly not yep looks like il have to stick with my old fan i dont know what price it would be in stirling maybe you would know but it was a lot😡
I can't get the "filter" light to go off. Says to hold down for 3 seconds then shuts off & is no longer illuminated..well no it does not. Put new filter in and still stays lit up.
@@lords-electricalthe air quality sensor does work. light a candle then Blow it out watch how much it goes up. If you have clean air of course it will stay at 1
all fun and shit, but not providing pm2.5 info on device display is deal breaker for me, and such a pathetic cost saving, and s400 have it, but have lot of other serious issues like motor noise and weak plastic box ; went with xiaomi ap 4 , well see, its all winnie the pooh's lottery
His voice is like the cool side of the pillow
😂 literally putting me to sleep lol

Great feedback and good to know they are that sensitive that it can pick up the dust from a distance away.

Must admit they are great value for money. Thanks for the awesome feedback
can you do a quick follow up in a weeks time .. and let us know what improvements in the air quality were made. Great video !!

That sounds quite a lot for a a fan with timer. i hope the one you looked at had purification as part of it for that price

How has the 300s been treating you over the last 3months, iv read alot of comments saying the air quality "gauge" on the device dosnt ever change
I don't have it on all the time but i have used it quite a bit and the gauge does change for me

can you control it remotly trough wifi? like when you are not home?
Can you do a follow up review in a month or so?
Looks like a massive upgrade from the old LV-132. It only had suction in the bottom, and honestly, it wasn't that great.
is Echo Dot required for the levoit core 300s to work?
Just any Alexa device will work ok with the air purifier.
@@lords-electrical just got it today and for some reason the pm2.5 level is stuck at 999. Cant change it
does it work without wifi?
How effective would this be on a 400 sq ft room
It will be ok, but for that size i would perhaps recommend a slightly larger model to make sure its purifying properly
Your voice is sooothing
Thanks very much 😊
Don't see point of app,to complicated ,just great its got sensor now
Every is perfect but sensor show you good air condition at 0-35 pm in my opinion is no good beacause WHO declarate max 15 pm 😢
