You should have tested levoit 300s, not the regular 300. It has almost the same premium characteristic like 500$+ ones and on the night is super super quiet.
I personally have had the levoit which I sent back because it is not a true hepa filter which is a big miss on your part as a reviewer. Levoit removed true hepa advertising off the box and their website on certain models but yet at the time they were still using false advertising on Amazon about the 300 being true hepa. Next I bought the air doctor which did purify very well just as your review showed but compared to the Dyson you will spend a lot more on filter replacements and the app is trash. You hit a button on the app and it just loads and loads before you can change a setting. The design on the 3500i which I had is dated also and my wife didn’t like it. So therefore I sent it back as well. Then I bought the exact same Dyson you just reviewed and have been very impressed. My first critique of your review is you didn’t show the sound of the Dyson on low or auto. This thing is stupid quiet. Even my wife had to ask me if it was on. Another thing you didn’t mention is that the Dyson is the only machine that projects the filtered air across the room which allows the air to be filtered more effectively. The others just shoot is straight up into the air above the machine. You can also change the degree angle of the air just in case you don’t want it blowing right on you. The Dyson also specifically monitors formaldehyde and destroys it as it’s filtered. And it doesn’t really matter how fast it clears the air when you leave it running all the time anyways. The difference between the machines was negligible. And finally you didn’t mention that the Dyson app is really good and you can use voice assistants and the filter change for the hepa is every 5 years and the carbon filter is every 2 years. And you did the test on the Dyson wrong because they clearly say that the Dyson needs to be at least 3.5 ft from the wall. You need a bigger tent. Also as an added note you should have included the breath smart by Alen Air. I hear that is also an excellent system. Hope this helps!
