I don’t understand the whole “not a so and so fan” or “only like so and so” in terms of manufacturers in automotive terms. Car fans are car fans and although I’ve been a 4 decade Mazda addict, my love or interest and respect for a vehicle is purely how it evokes my feelings when seeing it. The brand being a catalyst that automatically lowers potential response seems more like what people do with sports teams 😂
About 40 some odd years back when I first started autocross in the Toronto area there were a few C2 and C3 Vettes that competed. One Silver C2 ran a L88 big block and flew around the courses. This car makes the memories come flooding back. What a machine that was and this is!
Okay. I'm not typically a fan of wide-bodies, especially a classic like a C2 'vette, but that one is really well done and just SICK!!!! That to me is about the perfect car...
I have always been and owned C3s fan 1st,then C1, C2 . If this was my build I have to have chrome bumpers and taillights these are what defines a early Vette cosmeticly.
Shawn Davis... I will never forget the vapors... the rhythmic slams to my chest... and the deafening thunder of horsepower... indelibly being injected into my DNA... when my first L-88 build... lit off with the turn of my key. Love the sound of the BBC. Had an L88 in old days with downdraft Webers......this injection system resembles the Webers. When the carbs are mashed open, it is better than love.......LOL!
500 at the wheel is perfect. You can drive it hard and it's manageable. Take that thing to the twisties. I just discovered WV16 south of Beckely to I81. Absolutely crushes the Tail of the Dragon.
I could make a lot of comments on how much I love this car. But the best compliment is that I have been smiling every since I saw the first picture of this masterpiece. My mouth is getting tired of smiling.
Decent review, I missed the underbody shots of the steering & suspension &the accessory drive system on the engine front. I've never been a Vette fan, but this1 concentrates on tech mods &looks making it a reasonable driver's car. IDK, I might've chosen the newest gen Corvette engine & eliminated the pushrods although the 427 is 1of my old favorite big blocks. I really appreciate the A/C, the focus on big& taller driver's comfort &tech. I was waiting 2hear of SRS, seat belt tensioners, EPS, antilock, traction control, fuel cell, etc. I think that I c a hydraulic rack& pinion @3:39 nxt2 the PS pump & driver's side header.

Clutches don’t chatter due to being new. Itbs are in fact connected to each other in banks typically. Yes they require fine tuning but they are not as difficult as he made out. I know from experience
OMG! The C2 has always been my favorite but THIS monster is just out of this world. My dream car would be a Black Ferrari Daytona but man, if someone offered me this instead, I'd do it! Kudos to the constructor. This is a master piece!
Woof, now this is perfection! OMG that stance is so perfect, the wider finders is icing on the cake man and those phat tires are crazy. Engine is super sweet and the side exhaust actually sounds awesome. The interior with the carbon fiber puts it in another stratosphere. Well done Nostalgia Hot Rods! 🤌
Beyond any doubt, the 1965-66-67 Coevettes are my favorites. Yes, that includes the recent spaceships out there. I can't stand them. THIS car is right about where I'd want to be. The styling is kickass and that injected 427 cu in. mill sounds so freaking' great!
Dam Shawn, now that's one bad ass big block Vett. Just something about a Big Block and a Vett that makes my putter flutter, especially with steam roller wheels and tires, plus the backfire when you let off the gas I'm in love. Just let me know when it's my turn for the weekend. Thanks for sharing such an awesome video.
I am of a "certain age" and grew up watching NASCAR on road courses, and all forms of road racing. Even saw the Porsche 917-30s run at Riverside, and saw crew chief Roger Penske in his early 30s. So this type of set-up, is right up my alley.
I don't care for the gold centers on the wheels, but what a BITCHIN VETTE! Love the fender flares! Gorgeous!! I would really like to build a King of the Mountain mullholland drive corvette like the one crazy Dennis Hopper drove!!!
@@davegerrard6857 Same...carb, more sidewall, chrome the bumpers and at least a polished hoop if not the whole wheel, side pipes. Never got the "black it all out" thing reminds me of a model t

Absolutely Beautiful C2. Not over done or too radial, just the right amount of modern mixed with the style and class of yesteryear. Well done! 👍
One of the best sounding cars you guys you have ever done.
WOW! That is cool. The 19" wheels in those fender flairs look perfect.
Absolutely the best looking generation of Corvette ever and a great build to compliment it. I love this channel! I wear my ATLA merch often. 😊

The Cool 😎 effect is in Overdrive with this Vette. Nothing pumps the soul like a Big Block.
Gotta love that big block
Man he killed it. Good job covering another absolutely stunning build cheers 🍻
What a BEAST. Epic build. How can you not love a wicked C2... I love that they went with an old school big block Chevy.
While I'm not super crazy about the gold, that is one incredibly sharp C2!
