    I think the reason why the called it was because 1 it was a hold and once you see a jersey pull refs are going to call that. 2 it was the same motion that they couldn’t guard the last 2 tds so the refs are like you couldn’t guard it now you have to hold on it now they’re going to call that

    Kelce said what is said because all of the preseason hype was hill being traded, so the chiefs wouldn't be as good, and then the broncos traded for russ, so they'll be contenders, and then the raiders getting Adam's, so they'll be contenders, and the chargers getting mack, and spending 200 million getting all these players that the chiefs wouldn't win their division this year, that they'd finish 3rd or even last. Then the whole bills being a better team and the bengals being a better team, and then almost every single sports caster and analysts out there picking the eagles to win it, with the exception of pat and aj and nick and a few others picking the chiefs. That's why he said it

    If it's a tug the only fair option is a redo of 3rd and 8 for the Chiefs. Calling it a no call and Chiefs kick FG then Jalen gets a TD is tragic against KC.
    Mahomes would have readjusted his passing had the hold not have been seen by him. He threw ball away because he knew his receiver was held.

    I think Kelce was referring to the “KC will no longer be atop the AFC West” after Hill went to Miami. He was referring to the preseason shit being talked by the talking head on TV. He wasn’t talking about the Super Bowl.

    My take is the game was remarkably well officiated overall. I think on most calls, close or otherwise, the refs were correct. People are pissed not because it was a bad call, but because they feel robbed of an exciting game tying/winning opportunity for Jalen Hurts that the game had seemingly been building to. When that got yanked away and the broadcast didn't show the good angle, people were going to be pissed regardless how legitimate it was.

    • @Hatz127
      @Hatz127 Год назад +9

      I think its also about consistency. How was that the 1st hold of any kind during the game? I think if youre going to officiate one way all game you cant change in that moment to basically cap the game off.

      @@Hatz127 because they saw the jersey get tugged. The refs made it clear they weren't calling any penalty that isn't obvious. A jersey getting tugged is the most obvious form of holding that exists. Anyone with the right angle can spot it easily in real time.
      We saw it a couple years ago in the NFCCG between the Bucs and Packers when the refs were letting a lot of stuff go, but Eric Stokes got flagged late in the game because he had a jersey comically stretched out. It's too obvious for refs to ignore.

    • @Hatz127
      @Hatz127 Год назад +1

      @@12jswilson I find it hard to believe that was the 1st "obvious" hold all game. They threw it after the play was complete and it was clear Mahomes overthrew him anyways it just wasn't necessary at that point and it def wasn't consistent

    • @12jswilson
      @12jswilson Год назад +1

      @@Hatz127 I'm telling you how it is. Whether you choose to believe me or not is on you. I was once playing a game where the referee was basically "no blood, no foul" but when an opponent grabbed my jersey and I stepped away to show the ref, he called it. It might have been the only foul he called all day because it was too obvious to ignore. I know I got away with murder several times in the game. Refs don't call things because of how "impactful" they are. They call things based on how sure they are it is a foul. That's why they kept the flag in their pocket on the first half DPI against Juju (also Bradberry). In real time, it wasn't necessarily clear what happened. With the advantage of replay, we can easily see he grabbed his arm and it should have been called. If the back judge was assigned to that receiver that's a pretty bad miss, but if it was one of the side referees, it's very easy to see how that goes uncalled because of a poor angle. However, a white jersey getting stretched is much easier to see, especially from where the ref was that threw the flag

    Chris please discuss these questions.
    1. Why did the eagles hire Vic (which is known for his defense) to consult two weeks before the Superbowl ?
    2. Was Vic hired before he accepted the Miami Dolphins DC Head Coach job?
    3. What is the timeline in which Harry Roseman give the offensive coordinator and defensive permission to interview for the two Head Coaching jobs ? Where the Eagles organization aware that they were interviewing during the time they should be focusing entirely on game planning for the Superbowl?
    4. Gannon didn't make any real adjustment in the second half to match the offensive scheme Kansas City. Can you tell me if Gannon even had a game plan for the running game and why didn't he have different schemes in the pass rush which would give different looks that make it harder for the Patrick to read the different defensive sets?
    5. Do you think both of them we're more invested in obtaining head coaching jobs rather than preparing for their opponents. I think it didn't matter to them because they already knew they were going to be hired for these new Head Coaching jobs.
    6. The one thing that is overlooked and having a playing surface of the field is the safety of the players. The NFL league uses this false narrative a being concerned about the players health and safety has provided another example a pudding players in a harmful situation. The playing conditions of the surface put players at risk of lower body injuries (knees/ankles etc...). Andre said in their careers and opportunities to obtain future economical family generational wealth. Also how their contract will be structured.

      You know people view ref calls based on who they want to win lol. It’s ridiculous but I guess I get it. But if Bradberry wouldn’t have held then Mahomes would’ve completed the throw to Juju anyways so the eagles are straight up being like we want the ref to pick up his challenge flag and let us cheat cause it’s within 2 minutes. Maybe it’s a big reason that ref should pay MORE attention to calls so it’s fair because chiefs would’ve had a legit gripe if they’d not called it

  • @jimmyc3755

    Thinking about the call, no one has referenced that the 2 walk in touchdowns by the Chiefs had the secondary on high alert. If he does not hold him he very well could have been beat for a third walk in TD. Which would have given the birds at least 90-100 seconds to drive. So in a weird way if he lets him score a 3rd easy TD, the birds could have at least had a chance to tie the score.
    In a way the hold, did cost the Eagles the game. No hold, no call, they are down 7 but they at least have time to try to tie or win it.

    • @Zarab923
      @Zarab923 10 месяцев назад

      They threw those touchdowns in the red zone though.. this wasn’t in the red zone. If you’re gunna hold then don’t get caught or don’t hold the person that is being thrown the ball, they’re much more likely to call that because it’s messes with movement and timing. You can’t say to let them play once a ref has seen a illegal hold to just shut up and let the eagles profit from cheating. Once he threw the flag he couldn’t go back. Eagles didn’t get their chance because Bradberry is a really bad football player and is tugging on a jersey right in front of a ref in the last minutes of the freaking Super Bowl.

    in vaunted pass rushers, a supposed future hof qb🤭, and, whatnot, the PRO prognosticators picked the chiefs, to finish 3rd or even last in the division.
    After the chiefs, once again win the division, and are in the playoffs, there were not picked to get to the SB, (more wishful thinking).
    After getting to SB, all the talk was how KC couldn't win. That the eagles defense was better than chiefs offense. That the chiefs O line wouldn't hold up against the mighty eagles. (ZERO SACKS)
    That's only a few of the reasons the chiefs felt slighted & likely used it as motivation.

Not only that, your team was just beatin' like a drum TWICE!!!!! for touchdowns on the same concept and execution. So the proper route to take would be to let the defensive player grab the jersey this time???????? And that's fair calling of a game? So many of you guys with mics, cameras, shows are losing your credibility. But y'all enjoy that. Maybe it will make losing easier. We, on the other hand, are continuing the celebration. 🍾🍾🍾 Un-F'ING-believable! That man said he did. The camera showed he did it. The well respected ex head of officials said he did it and the call should be made 10 out of 10 times. The most pitiful part of all of this, is if that play is A.J. Who was at more of a disadvantage with the playing field, the best offense in the league or the defense that had the third most sacks in NFL history? That field was more important than the flag, and probably worse for the Eagles given that they had 70 sacks this season.

      Same exact field for both teams The Chiefs has 55 sacks on the season and finished 2nd. The Chiefs got a sack.

    The idea that the nfl would roll out new experimental grass for a super bowl is complete F-ing bull 🤫 and it disproportionately hurt the eagles superior rush by rendering the best DE’s in the NFL speed as useless
