Yeah the first half was nice. But it seems like Gannon didn't make ANY adjustments in the second half to answer Reid's adjustments. That was probably the biggest reason for the Eagles loss.

@Amani well he was injured, but he also made a couple scrambles that game. You blitz more, and maybe he gets sacked and hurt more, therefore doesn't run around as much. Or maybe he finds the open receivers like he did in the red zone on the second wide open TD. We won't know, and Patrick is most likely gonna be 100% next season so it's too late now.
You know people view ref calls based on who they want to win lol. It’s ridiculous but I guess I get it. But if Bradberry wouldn’t have held then Mahomes would’ve completed the throw to Juju anyways so the eagles are straight up being like we want the ref to pick up his challenge flag and let us cheat cause it’s within 2 minutes. Maybe it’s a big reason that ref should pay MORE attention to calls so it’s fair because chiefs would’ve had a legit gripe if they’d not called it
Thinking about the call, no one has referenced that the 2 walk in touchdowns by the Chiefs had the secondary on high alert. If he does not hold him he very well could have been beat for a third walk in TD. Which would have given the birds at least 90-100 seconds to drive. So in a weird way if he lets him score a 3rd easy TD, the birds could have at least had a chance to tie the score. In a way the hold, did cost the Eagles the game. No hold, no call, they are down 7 but they at least have time to try to tie or win it.
They threw those touchdowns in the red zone though.. this wasn’t in the red zone. If you’re gunna hold then don’t get caught or don’t hold the person that is being thrown the ball, they’re much more likely to call that because it’s messes with movement and timing. You can’t say to let them play once a ref has seen a illegal hold to just shut up and let the eagles profit from cheating. Once he threw the flag he couldn’t go back. Eagles didn’t get their chance because Bradberry is a really bad football player and is tugging on a jersey right in front of a ref in the last minutes of the freaking Super Bowl.

I was here when Kyle long came to the Bears at that time we had a shitty quarterback and didn’t do shit for us. There’s nothing anyone can do to help Jay Cutler be a better player. He just sucked store of our lives here in Chicago, was the story of our lives here. hopefully. I have a fucking Kyle Long jersey that I’ve worn for years two games. I’ve watched this podcast a whole bunch and I’ll did not recognize him. I’ve never been more embarrassed and I’ve watch this episode by myself in my entire life I have guys jersey that I’ve worn for years to Bears games and I didn’t recognize him on his fucking brothers podcast that he’s always on play quarterback when Philly won the Super Bowl. My parents also lived in Philadelphia but it was before my time before I was born and then both my brothers grew up in Cleveland. I’m not only outlier I was raised in New York and Chicago definitely isn’t Cleveland also is in Philadelphia now I’m just rambling. I still feel like a fucking idiot in my condo by myself 🤦♀️🤦♀️
Wait a minute...so you think the better route to have taken would be to let a guy commit a foul, in order to negate an obvious advantage the offensive player had based on scheme and execution. Not only that, your team was just beatin' like a drum TWICE!!!!! for touchdowns on the same concept and execution. So the proper route to take would be to let the defensive player grab the jersey this time???????? And that's fair calling of a game? So many of you guys with mics, cameras, shows are losing your credibility. But y'all enjoy that. Maybe it will make losing easier. We, on the other hand, are continuing the celebration. 🍾🍾🍾 Un-F'ING-believable! That man said he did. The camera showed he did it. The well respected ex head of officials said he did it and the call should be made 10 out of 10 times. The most pitiful part of all of this, is if that play is A.J. Brown and one of our young corners committed that foul, y'all would be screaming the opposite of this mess you are screaming now. Instead of Crown, take a double shot of sore loser tears. That doesn't go to all Eagles fans...some have come out and said you lost because you got dominated on both sides of the ball after the half. You lost because our coaches know what 'ADJUSTMENTS' means. You lost because our coaches and players were 3 points better than yours on this day. Thanks for firing Big Red. 🍾🍾🍾
It’s a real shame the eagles defensive line didn’t get a fair shot to show their ability because of the grass. Smaller men trying to go through and around bigger men on a slippery field is just impossible. They had a historically great season. Sometimes things are as simple as a crappy field. JoM

For all the talk of how the NFL is scripted and now with sports betting at an all-time high this game made the NFL look really really bad. Who was at more of a disadvantage with the playing field, the best offense in the league or the defense that had the third most sacks in NFL history? It was hard enough to keep their footing when they knew where they were going but how about when you're trying to cover a guy. And deciding to throw that flag on a ball that was not catchable only made it that much worse. I'm just glad I've never bet a single penny on a sporting event and last night just reinforced that fact.
The idea that the nfl would roll out new experimental grass for a super bowl is complete F-ing bull 🤫 and it disproportionately hurt the eagles superior rush by rendering the best DE’s in the NFL speed as useless

Eagles got away with more holds. Don't be a loser who blames the refs makes me sick
Literally was watching this episode back looking at kind of long the whole time knowing full well while they’re talking about not recognizing other people and such, I’ve been a Bears season ticket holder in my own right since my dad passed away in 2017, but we’ve had the tickets since we moved to the city of Chicago in 1998.
I’m not 100% sure what was happening here but what a ride lol. Hope you’re doin well
Yeah, That grass was, A M-E-S-S ...amongst other things.
QB run game was great for Eagles ? Hurts was like 15 rushes for 70 yards , Mahomes was 4 rushes for 51 yards ( take away 2 kneel downs for -7 yards )
It's called balloons
It’s a real shame the eagles defensive line didn’t get a fair shot to show their ability because of the grass. Smaller men trying to go through and around bigger men on a slippery field is just impossible. They had a historically great season. Sometimes things are as simple as a crappy field. JoM
Have I gone to the Twilight Zone?
People discussing the game with common sense!
From both sides, and both opinions.
Wow! Something worth watching.
Thank you!
And most of the Eagles fans in the comments know the game as well.
Chiefs fans know the hurt of losing a big game with questionable calls going against you!
KC vs NE in the AFC Championship game in 18.
It was a hold not a pi! Doesn't matter if the ball was thrown into the seats!
@@tynosille6747 you're right, I did mix up the 2 🤝🏻
@@tynosille6747 thank you for saying it
What are you complaining about! Your team players are admitting it. Stop crying like a little baby! 🤦🏽♂️
It was not catchable because of the hold...holding is holding.
They held worst all game this is BS they would have had 2 timeouts and 1:50 -1:40
That field was more important than the flag, and probably worse for the Eagles given that they had 70 sacks this season.
Same exact field for both teams The Chiefs has 55 sacks on the season and finished 2nd. The Chiefs got a sack.
Yes grow real grass and lay off the slick paint !!
bs, fox dropped the ball and missed the shot of fistfull of jersey grab
😆 eagles can drown thier sorrow
Chiefs whooped the Beagles
Messed up call; no team needs to have that hanging in their rearview.
Give these winers cry baby's a thumbs down
Eagles lost because of coaching not a holding call
No excuses please. The Eagles won but against inferior teams not the Chiefs
CHIEFS earned the win
NFL is embarrassing that the XFL had a better replay system than this bullshit
losers making ref excuses
Oscar Peterson
THE GAME LOOKED LIKE A 1990 PRO BOWL . BRING BACK THE DEFENSIVE RULES OF THE 70'S,80'S AND 90'S
They can't they were sued to a tune of 200 million over CTE
@@khanbicakcioglu9498 Congrats to the Kansas Chiefs on a hard fought Superbowl!!!! The great state of Kansas will certainly be celebrating this week!!

THE GRASS IN MY YARD IS BETTER THAN THAT CRAP
The idea that the nfl would roll out new experimental grass for a super bowl is complete F-ing bull 🤫 and it disproportionately hurt the eagles superior rush by rendering the best DE’s in the NFL speed as useless
