- Nate Ebner stops by Studio J to talk rugby and football. Nate had a very decorated youth rugby career before attending Ohio State and walking on to their football in his junior year. He then played well enough to be drafted by the Patriots and carve out a lengthy career in the NFL with NE and NYG. In 2016, as Rugby 7s made it's return to the Olympics, Nate knew he had to return to the pitch and tryout for the US national team, which he made. He competed in the Rio Olympics in Rugby 7s then returned to New England for training camp immediately after, to a very supportive Patriots team. Nate covers all this and more in a wonderful conversation!

This interview deserves more credit. His story is incredible. Talking about his first tackle being a robber and growing up on a junkyard.
That was a fantastic watch, thanks to all involved 👍👍
What a pod. Really enjoyed guys. 🍻
Absolute legend
Really good interview…letting an inspiring guest do most of the talking.
Amazing listen
He was an excellent rugby player. Both 7s and 15s. Pity he didn't play in either England, France, Japan, Australia, South Africa or New Zealand. He would have excelled.
Read Nates book it's an amazing read
Nate Ebner would’ve been a great rugby player as well
