My wallet is safe for this round of campaigns. Also waiting on a couple of others to still deliver. As always appreciate the content, really enjoy your videos Alex
Finally a segment on Sibelle! (I've been looking for one without success; apologies if it was covered in a previous edition). Seems to be a conundrum. Either get it and pay through the nose or don't get it and never find it.
As a keeper of many many reptiles, the art on Quest Snakes is adorable and I love the theme as well, but the gameplay is only OK looking. So I held strong and did not back it. If it makes it to retail I may pick it up for my 10yr old niece who also has pet snakes though.
Alex, next week on the 29th is the Kickstarter release of fable fury. It's a game (co)created by the youtuber captainsparkelz, and with the recent delivery of the Kickstarter from circle toons, we see serveral non boardgame RUclipsrs creating boardgames. What's your view on this? Is it gonna give some more mainstream attention to our small hobby?
I was really interested in the teb system and curse of Cthulhu. After playing Gloomhaven digital I realized I mostly just want a board game OR a video game. Even the app games I like that really need an app like MoM 2nd or xcom I think I would have preferred a full video game version. Exceptions are things like Oathsworn just reading the narrative. But only if they use a really good narrator. I also wasn’t that impressed by the gameplay.
@@TabletopFamily AI is used this way replaces actual artists and that by training off them without permission. There is positive use of AI as a tool (backgrounds, inspiration, starting point, clean up), but as used in this instance, its rather morally bankrupt. (plus you can immediately tell, with its smooth bland style) you were comparing 2 different art forms (that have their place beside each other), while this one aiming to replace others.

just be aware that it uses AI art exclusively
Thanks for taking a look at Dragon vs Kingdom! We really appreciate it.
Saving my money for Root.
It’s already out right?
No Elestrals Clash? Dang man

Backed Draconis 8. I liked the fact that it’s not a full TCG and won’t be a financial bottomless pit
It's still a TCG just remember that
Phew, my wallet is safe this time... oh lord... :D
Nice to see Alex keeping up the level of jokes at the end :D
@Alex
What is your opinion of Valheim?
Fest Season is the only one that somewhat interests me this week. Very dry week other than that and I'm ok with that.

Crystal age doing bad because no dwarves. Snake game doing good cuz cute snakes.
just be aware peeps that Sibille uses AI art exclusively. For me absolutely a reason not to back something, even if fun otherwise.
@@TabletopFamily not remotely comparable and you know that

@@TabletopFamily the difference is that AI essentially uses what Artists create without permission. it doesnt innovate anything.
Thanks for this tidbit of info.
First! I was wondering where this video was 😄
