the whole band playing the drums
Maybe I should add all their names to the title.
Gotta love the band's chemistry!! They're having so much fun there!! 💯🔥🤘
That’s what it’s all about. 🙌🏼
Matt: "I'll stay in ABR as long as I don't have to choke my cymbals anymore."
ABR:
Deal.
Drums sound thunderous in this one
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I love watching Matt play because he always looks like he's having so much fun.
Same!
came here to say this. he's a delight to watch
The kick and snare sound absolutely phenomenal. The kick especially…that wet sound is so clear and just meaty. Love that drumset
Appreciate it!
That's the drummer/bassist combo you love to see
Soo sick!!!I love Matt’s drumming
Same! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
@@drummersanonymous your welcome!!!
Matt always sounds amazing but this mix is PHAT. Sounds so good man!
Thank you! All thanks to the power of Chris Ghazel.
These are incredible, man. Thanks for the uploads! One of my favorite bands right here.
Thanks so much! And no problem!
Matt Siempre dando clases de ejecución y virtuosismo!!! the sound of the drum is sick❤🔥

Matt is the g.o.a.t ;)

🙌🏼🙌🏼
And the bassist hitting that cymbal at 3:02 was sick 😅
Wow, the drums are mic'd like cannons. Wish I had that sound in my woodshed. LOL
🥁 💥
i love these guys so much!
Same!
Brabo demais o irmão matt! E esse som de caixa? Puts, só pedrada!
Matt is so damn crispy 🔥 🍗
So tight

🙏🏼🙏🏼
That’s a nasty sounding kick. 🤘🏻
🦵 💥
Goated
For sure! 🔥
I'm still waiting for either Estepario to react to Matt or Drumeo to invite im or do something! This guy is a god, loved by everyone and still feel he's underrated on a more mainstream/popular side.
I never realized he hasn’t been on Drumeo. That’s kind of crazy.
THAT DRUM MIX DOE
What time signature is this in?
ABR: Yes.
All of them.
Fuck yeah!
When was this show? I see Sean from Erra is playing with them and I love that.
It was in November, 2023! They were touring with ERRA and Crystal Lake.
How do I get my snare to sound that phat 😭
You know what the bandmates will do when matt take a break and away from kit for a while during rehearsals😂
Anyone know what cymbal is in the middle by the rack toms?
Oriental China, anywhere from 10-14inch?
Zildjian 12" Oriental FX China Trash
who's the guy bald with green guitar in the end???
Jake got the santa beard going early lol
Haha he messed up Dustin going for the other cymbal! Great stuff
Lol
I love the dingalingaling
1:26. A little Amish, "Hi!" Adorbs.
0:43 Matt could use a stack maybe? 😅
4:08 wedgie
Is it just me or has his left hand always been so stiff when doing blast beats?
Yeah I've always noticed this as well, I don't think he ever got it down to a science using just fingers like Adam or some others. Matt seems like he has to force his way through a lot of the blast sections using the whole forearm
@@ItsATMDrums i feel he struggles with left hand flexibility even during non-blast beat parts.
Which makes me wonder how is it people regard him as one of the genre's best drummers?
Not hating, I'm actually genuinely curious.
@@JamesYusof I ask myself the same question when I read that I'm nominated for 'best drummer' haha! There's always work to be done and things to get better at! That's what I love the most about drumming 25 years in. Reading the comment section isn't fun but it sure is fuel to get out and keep practicing, thank you!
@@MattGreiner Matt, you are the biggest reason I started to take drums seriously and I'm sure there are many people like me. I've only just started learning when constellations album came out and it was the first time I heard of ABR. I just couldn't believe that a human can play like that and had goosebumps for days. After playing for about 10 years on and off, I finally could play some of the songs you've written and it felt so good it gave me even more reason to practice. Comment sections are wild, every single human has it's flaws, including musicians, but we never stop learning and developing our skills. Your playing style and drum parts are one of a kind and this is the reason I find you one of if not the best in the genre. Truly inspiring! I wish you and the whole squad of ABR the best and hope to see you perform again someday!
