- After almost 2 years in the making, I have finally made it El Salvador. I had barely gotten settled when it was time to grab an Uber across town to meet with bitcoiners and learn about this fantastic initiative to teach people all about bitcoin, where money comes from and how to be your own bank.
Mi Primer Bitcoin has their monthly meetup the last Thurs of the month in San Salvador.

Some parts accept Bitcoin, and some areas don't, and prefer cash or they have problems with their network, so they prefer dollars which is the national currency. The safest country in America, and I hope you had fun.
Bitcoin step by step is going to be great in El Salvador fellas !!
It sure will be. The training and education has it's roots in El Salvador and is now being exported. El Salvador is leading the world. That said, it still takes time but we are definitely moving in the right direction.
