can't wait. i dont work on a lot of arcade monitors but i work on vintage computer analog boards :) so i can always learn from someone more experienced.
Hey Mike, it's Bruce that fixes the B&K rejuvenators how are you? I don't know if you remember, I wouldn't expect you to but about a year ago maybe a little longer, I messaged you and said I have a 4900 and it would play for a couple minutes and the brightness will go out. When I turn the fly back down and turn it back up it would work for 5 minutes then go back out again. Trying to figure out everything that was wrong, and in the end it ended up being a burnt section on my socket where the pin connects to, I believe, was the G1. Was arcing and slowly burning up the plastic on the socket. Put it in and all was well. Glad we were both able to figure out the issue! Thank you my good man
Nice Repair Video again ! 34:45 I not recommend touching any ground parts with the bare arm or to go inside the frame. You make yourself vulnerable for electric shocks. I recommend to turn over the monitor and use a mirror to check the picture
I had this fade to black problem on a k7400 (a model with the strange capacitor box on the flyback). Turned out to be the chassis needed to be grounded to the frame with the screws.

Nice! Yes. I vaguely remember, but I’m aging so I can’t remember what I had for breakfast.

This guy has worked on hundreds of these. I think he knows what he's doing
Still good advice, but yes. I know what to touch and what not to touch.
First 😂. Thanks for amazing content Mike 👍🏻
Thanks for watching!

Yes.
Thx for the video. Didn't know you were a "Bad Religion" fan. Cool song tho.
10 Cool points to you!
@@MikesArcadeMonitorRepair Yaaaaaaay! I do like points. :)
Is the dust kicked up from these boards any worse than the car exhaust we suck in our lungs everyday, all day?
Good question
