Black betty is lookin good James. I'm new to your channel. I guess a lil over a week now If I remember right and dam just seeing all the trucks you and the Nova that's up on the lift you have is very impressive. Gotta love the older trucks and vehicles. I grew up around tractor trailers and drove over the road for almost 3 years after I got out of the Navy. My 1st over the road tractor was an 81 K100 with a big cam Cummins and 13 speed. Love the old cab overs and any old school trucks. Black Betty reminds me of a guy that lived about 30 minutes from my house growing up who had one just like her and had another Marmon with a dump body on it as well and he worked both of them. Talking with him taught me a bunch about them and they are what he called the cadillac of the semi trucks. Because of being hand made. If I remember right the one like Betty had a KTA Cummins( I think I got that right) in it and that thing would run to. Can't wait to see Black Betty to the point of running down the road.

Hi James just think you get to do that boot one more time! Wonder if maybe one of those custom sleeper outfits would have a wider boot? That looks to be stretched too tight. Would suck if that got too much of a twist in it going down the road. I’m sure you’ll figure out a way to prevent that. Looking great! Stay safe

All I can say is wow ! Man what a job , sleeper and hood ! She is amazing! What is the purpose of super singles , there wear two fatal accidents up here and apparently the loss on control was due to hydroplaning of rear tires ?

The super singles make the wheelbase look longer. imo I do like the Nova I have 86 Caprice 2 dr same color it's been sitting 12 yrs needs work. I want to order some stickers but Iam waiting on the tow truck stickers when you get them in. Iam the same age as you and don't know how you do it. lol Truck looks great!

@@JamesPretty that 86 i have sent you pictures of its getting the unimount treatment where the cab and sleeper are bolted to each other with a bracket of some kind, have yet to see it. owner is up the body shop, i have the chassis about ready.
I’m not sure half the time I think it’s perfect other times it sags to the passenger side after it’s back to roadworthy it’s going to an alignment shop and having a 6 wheel done
