    I am old as dirt and I must say of all the many decorated trees I have seen over all my years yours has given me the most awe and the most joy. Thank you Ruth ❤

    Muy bonito e ingenioso. El sistema Kolmer es rápido y consigue un brillo mejor que el dorado al aceite.

    Does it create a very smooth surface? Can the leaf polish like water gilding?

    • @RuthTappinGilder
      @RuthTappinGilder  Год назад +2

      It just needs to be rubbed by the soft tissue. Doesn't need a burnisher like water gilding does.

    Hi Ruth. I already tried to make droplets on a acrylic painted surface on wood. The one I used was the normal Kollner "yellow" and it worked as expected but my problem is that some transfered gold got sticked on the surface even if I sealed and couldn't take it out brushing it out. Do you know which reason could be? Cheers!!😊

      Hi, gold will stick exactly where you don't want it too. I've taken to using masking tape to protect form this. The gold will come off if you use something like a small stencil brush and lick the end. Hope that helps. R

      @@RuthTappinGilder It worked! I used some Tamiya masking tape and got perfect rounded golden spot. It's a shame that cannot recover the scrap sticker on the tape:( I'll cut it more shape like to avoid scrap. That for your advice Ruth, Cheers!
