There are so many ways of shooting these kinds of images. But yes this is a very effective method

Hej, I have a question - are you using just one light? You mention both the strobe and the speedlight, but I can only see the strobe in the video and you dont mention anything about positioning the speedlight.

Were there other lights were bouncing to the sealing?
Thanks a lot!! But no the only light used was the strobe! I had LED lights in the studio but that was just to illuminate the studio for the video.
Hello I have a Sony a7iv how to get a group of people in focus what is the best settings
If you have a group, I’ll start from about F4.5 on the aperture. If you want to be sure everyone is in focus you can choose between f8 and f11
But as usual, experiment with these numbers

Can you have similar results with umbrella's?
With large shoot through umbrellas, you should be able to, but I think this is easier

lol yes. It was my settings from a previous shoot. Sometimes I just like to test them out to see how they work for my current situation before totally making adjustments 😊
