We are all so brainwashed that studio photography “needs” to be narrow aperture, low ISO and a big, powerful strobe or 3. This was so refreshing! Crank up the ISO, open up the aperture, and get great results with a single, bounced speedlight!!! I could have benefited from this at my most recent session!!! Thank you.
Thanks for sharing!! I believe in the past making adjustments to lights, or film sensitivity and even camera settings may have had a bit more of a cumbersome process hence the rules that have been laid out for decades.
But nowadays we have so much flexibility, it is entirely up to us to explore and create with everything we have at our disposal so I am glad this video felt refreshing to you!
