babe wake up, ian's dropped a vid
🤣🤣 wakey wakey
I feel like I’m watching a episode of America’s next top model I love this ! 😍😍
great shots Ian - love seeing all the photographer-handled non-shoot steps of back drop/floor/lighting prep and setup between each look - the reality of a 3-4 look shoot!
definitely, it’s a big part of the job, especially without an assistant
Always love your videos and your thought processes - would really enjoy seeing an updated what’s in your camera bag video too
🎉been waiting a long timmmmmeeeee ✨✨🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Very good videos on your channel. I haven't forgotten about you for a long time. For some reason, RUclips does not show your new videos in the feed, so every time I find you again to watch new ones
I think you did a very nice job. Backdrops can play a big part of a shoot and sometimes get over looked. I have been able to have a lot of my backdrops painted by a Disney Land, effects painter who just so happens to be my dad.
Dope video!! I really enjoyed the lighting setup and all the different looks. But the 4th look is my favorite!
Glad you liked it!!
My favorite looks were Look 1, and then Look 4 were my 2 favorites..Keep up the good work my brother!
I really enjoy the creative looks , colors, and the wardrobe changes on your shoots. Also yes i would like to see what new in your camea bag.
Also if you can do more videos of how your prepare for your shoots.✌🏿✌🏿
I always find the coolest equipment from you. Be right back, buying 20 of those backdrops✨
They’re soo good right??
Love Ben Q monitors 🥲🥲 the colors I get to play with is very nice, definitely pairs well with color bit rates of 10+ if your camera produces it 🔥
Stunning work as always man!
love. what size of umbrella are using overhead?
Hi Ian, I've been a professional photog for a long time and one of my fav pass-times is watching other photogs work. Your channel is pretty much the only one that I click full screen and sit back and watch. I like the chill vibes you bring and good taste in music...all that to say great job and keep up the good work. You have a long career ahead of you and congrats on the 100k! Cheers!
Great shoot! Just one quick question, when shooting those photos, were all the lights flashing or some of them are continuous and one is flashing? Thanks!
One off thhheeee bessttttt
Styling is so good!!
Right!!
Definitely loved the 4th look too ✨
Glad your back bro ...missed the videos
Amazing shoot look 4 definitely was my favourite and I need to try those backdrops
I always look forward to your videos.
Great pics. Sometimes if I want a super soft light I'll place my soft umbrella above an 8x8 silk positioned overhead but below the main light.
I need to invest in a silk!
With the drop of the R5ii, its going to be a great time to grab an R5. Also, the BenQ SW272Q (2k 27") is another great choice for a monitor at a much cheaper price. Its not quite as lucious to look at in person, but it will offer a more accurate representation of sharpness levels for print. Happy shooting peeps ⭐
Dope work.... man i want that background
Hi Ian, thanks for this video, I've been looking all over for "temporary walls" that are quick to set up. What is the stand on the back of those panels? was it a DIY or something pre-made? how are the panels connected to each other? were the panels DIY?
You did amazing! Dope video, dope work.
Thank you 🙏🏾
Always great content. Thanks.
Beautiful work everyone! Wow! My respects from Miami :)
But all in all fire video!! I enjoyed it!
Awesome! WOuld love to see an editing and selection video from you
Awesome shoot! Gorgeous images! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
Enjoyed every bit!
Happy Holidays!! Wish you great success next year also. Yes on what in your camera bag and I like the last outfit. Thanks.
You're talented. Like your photos
Well done.
Awesome ad.
You're alive! Been awhile 🙂
Alive indeed!
Where did you get the panels to put the backdrops on? I’m about to start either making my own or see if I can find a good spot in the states.
Always great content
thank you!
ian you made it !!!! 100k ! fk yeesss! I remember when you had 2 or 3k :O
Great video! I been waiting for a video for the longest. When you place the subject plunder the umbrella, is she directly under the umbrella or is it more at the edge
Depends how dramatic you want the light to be, she was pretty much directly underneath but the fill light balanced out the shadows
Do you have any videos on which cameras and lens and editing softwares to use?
Another great video Ian 🙏
Thanks!
Updated what’s in my camera bag would be great!
Nice video bro. You got a Caribbean last name, it’s pronounced hippo-lit in Saint Lucia 🇱🇨
🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨
Dope!
Just want to know the aperture you use for these looks. Cheers!
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
you give a lot of inspiration🤩 what camera are you shooting with ?
man you dont miss...
Hi ian im new to this studio photography world , my question is how do make live preview from camera to monitor?
❤❤❤❤
What fabric you use for background at first ? And what paint you use too?
I'd love to know what's in your camera bag!
We definitely would love to see what flash power & camera settings you used to achieve these photos
Hello Ian, When you shoot video content do you shoot in C-Log format and color grade in Post or do you shoot directly in H.264 format ?
I shoot video in clog3 but I’m not that great at colour grading videos!
Love the video! If you were to invest in one model light would it be the Profoto B1x or Profoto D2? I’m stuck between the two at the moment.
I’ve heard you could use an inverter if you needed to use the d2 on location?
Depends whether you shoot mostly outdoors or indoors. If you do mostly studio or indoor locations, definitely D2. If you shoot outdoor then maybe get the B1X and a couple extra batteries for it.
You should sell presets I would 100% buy them!
Who provides the outfits?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
does that backdrop cause any CA?
where did you get them back drops from
Set Surfaces, I mentioned it in the video :)
Update the what's in your camera bag! :)
I'm a little confused at the labeling of your lighting diagram at 1:06; Your FILL should be your KEY which gives you a CATCH LIGHT in the eyes. Your CATCH LIGHT should be labeled your FILL light and the KEY is never used at the position at where you have it labeled. WTF
